PROs:
✔Doesn’t cling to dry patches
✔has medium to almost full coverage
✔has decent longevity
✔Doesn’t look cakey if I use a damp beauty blender
✔has a natural, semi matte finish and makes my skin look flawless
✔feels creamy and moisturizing and nice to spread on my dry skin
✔it’s very cheap
✔comes in a plastic tube
✔it doesn’t break out my skin
✔it’s not perfumed(seems to have the natural chemical smell of foundations which isn’t that bad and isn’t as strong and off putting as Photofocus
✔removing it isn’t as difficult as removing some other high coverage foundations
CONs:
✔it’s not widely available(unlike Photofocus foundation)
✔has aweful colors, there’s no good choice if you have light skin and all medium ones are orangey
✔it claims to be lightweight but is not
✔the hole in the nozzle of it’s tube is too big
I bought this one before reading reviews,I’m always struggling to find a foundation that won’t cling to my dry patches and won’t look too dry.SA told me I have to try this one.they only had shade 819(medium) and 818 and no tester, she said that they’re both dark for me but won’t look bad if I pair them with a bronze makeup.she suggested me to buy 819 as she said the other one is too red.It was only 4.5 USD so I thought I won’t loose much even if I hate it
Well,I can’t believe my bad luck.there seems to be just four foundations in the whole world that look good on my dry skin all through the year.one is Diorskin Eclat Satin,it’s only available in shade 402 which is very very dark for me
Second one,Maybelline Dream BB Cream which is only available in it’s two darker shades here.
Third one is Collistar Super Moisturizing Foundation,Amber(4th shade) is the lightest one available which is too dark for me.
the other appropriate foundation seems to be this Wetnwild Coverall .It seems to be discontinued,at least here, and I couldn’t find the right shade for my NC15 skin.I could be the happiest girl in the world if I could find it in lightest shade(815/fair),I could even get along with it’s second shade(fair-light/816) but boy,the one I have(819/medium) is too oompa loopma dark, like a pumpkin orange on me.so the biggest CON of this foundation is it’s colors IMO.it suddenly jumps from 815 which seems to be truely fair to medium-dark shades,817,818 and 819 are too much similar.I don’t care that it doesn’t have right shades for different undertones.I’m just asking for a real fair-light a real light and a real light-medium color, this seems to be one of basic rights of a foundation buyer, isn’t it?
Other than the horrible colors I love it.it has medium to almost full coverage.seems moisturizing when applied but dries down to a semi matte finish on me(not dewy, not truely matte either).it doesn’t settle in pores,,looks a bit cakey if I apply too much of it with fingers on a non preped skin.but if I use a damp beauty blender and build the layers gradually it makes my skin look flawless.it’s one of the rare foundations that doesn’t cling to my dry patches and doesn’t look masky eventhough it has good couverage
It has decent longevity but I don’t see it as a very long wear, the whole day lasting foundation.it transfers to my cell phone if I don’t set it and looks blotchy after a couple of hours but it’s probably because it’s a very wrong shade for me,so even when a little of a tiny spot wears off,my own light skin would showup
It’s price is unbelievabley good and it comes in a simple, plastic tube which could be nice if the hole in it’s nozzle wasn’t so huge.each time I want to squeeze the tube a very large amount of the cream comes out so there’s a lot of waste AND mess
I wish they change the shades and continue producing it with new shades.in that case I’d repurchase even if it was 3 times more expensive than what I paid for it in the first place

I forgot how much I love this foundation. When it stopped being sold in stores (replaced by the PhotoFocus line) I thought it’d been discontinued. I was as sad as it’s possible to be about a makeup item being phased out. Then I realized that this product is still on Wet n Wild’s website but I was hesitant to purchase. I’m weird when it comes to online shopping and try to avoid purchasing things online at all costs. After trying a few other foundations though (drugstore and high end) and not being impressed with any of them, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and re-up on my HG foundation.
When this came in the mail and I opened the box, I was a little disappointed right off. The packaging seems smaller to me for some reason. But there’s always been 1fl oz of product, so maybe they just made the squeeze tube itself smaller? It may just be me, but if you get this and wonder if they’re selling less product for the same price, they’re not.
Speaking of the packaging… this is my favorite packaging for foundation ever. I had a bad experience with a drugstore foundation that comes with a pump, which makes me appreciate the fact that this comes in a plastic squeeze tube, even more than I did before. Yeah this foundation is pretty cheap ($3.99), but you’ll never have to worry about crappy packaging malfunctioning, because this product is packaged like a dream. You can get every last bit of the product out too, which is important to me.
Onto the foundation itself. The shade range is terrible as a whole, but 815 Fair matches me perfectly. I have “normal” skin… gets slightly oily in the summer, slightly dry in the winter, and is slightly breakout prone year-round. This stuff just works. With or without a primer… with or without a setting powder… it lasts all day. It’s so low maintenance. I saw a reviewer below me talk about how bad this smells and I completely disagree. I don’t notice a scent to this at all.
This foundation isn’t too liquid-y at all. It’s a cream foundation that blends easily, doesn’t get soaked up in your blending sponge too badly, and provides medium to full coverage depending on how much product you use and what look you’re going for. The finish isn’t matte and it isn’t dewy. It looks like natural, flawless skin. I’ve never broken out from this stuff. When I got it in the mail and put it on again I could’ve cried. My skin looks beautiful again (the other foundations I was testing out over the past 6 months or so left much to be desired.)
Since this stuff is so cheap, I’ll probably buy 10 tubes next time I place an order. I’ve tried out lots of foundations in my day, and nothing compares to this one.

I’m Not Gonna Lie, I Got This From The Dollar Tree And It Was Pretty Good Coverage (In My Option Its Is A Full Coverage), But It Gets Cakey And Patchy And They Have A Short Verity Of Shades And Omg It Stinks Like It Has The Worst Scent Ever!

Really nice foundation aside from the fact that it comes off onto your iPhone screen when you talk on the phone for a while…. you cannot lean your face against ANYTHING if you want to keep it there! Otherwise, super cute! ????

Best HG foundation ever–covers well, lasts forever, full coverage but not noticeable in pores–so of course since I love it it’s DISCONTINUED! Wah…

it’s very thick and I have to wet my sponge when applying this to make it look more naturally because it goes on heavy. a little goes a long way and you have to make sure the color matches perfectly or you’ll have terrible lines. but the coverage is great for a cheap foundation. I definitely have to use a powder on top of it and a little extra blush cause it washes me out a little. but for the price it is definitely workable.

I do not like it very much. My face turned oily after a few hours I put it (and I have very dry skin). Also it has some funky smell. But.. it works very well as an under eye concealer. Maybe I will buy it again for the under eye area.

There are sooo many good reviews on this product that when I first hated this product I thought it must just be me so I went back to it again and I wish I didn’t!
First of all I have pretty oily skin, normal foundations on me last about 4 hours before getting oily and this was no exception. This was so hyped up for people with oily skin and it was the same as most for me. This was also hyped up for people with acne prone skin and the product itself claims to “coverall”. Well no it didn’t. I have clogged pores type acne all on my forehead and general acne on my cheeks and chin and this didn’t cover them at all, in fact I’d say it was light to medium coverage.
I also don’t mind foundation packaging like this where it squeezes out of a tube but I found I lost quite a bit of product this way by squeezing too much out.
But the worst thing about this foundation is the shades. I bought the shade Light and even when I have fake tanned this is still SO ORANGE and dark on me! Who came up with these shades?! The shade “light” should work for me normally when I don’t have fake tan on but this didn’t even work for me when I wore it.
I don’t recommend this product at all even though it has very good reviews

This was my holy grail foundation for many years. I still love it. I have dry, sensitive, clog-prone skin, and this gave just the right amount of luminous finish on top of my sunscreen, and never clung, emphasized, or created dry patches. The finish was super natural and skin-like and it wasn’t prone to transferring, though I did blot once during the day. The price was amazing and I found the packaging fine. The only downside to me is the use of methylisothiazolinone as a preservative. It doesn’t personally bother my skin, but I’ve read enough studies to be wary of it, and I discontinued use of this foundation while I was pregnant, and had a hard time finding anything I liked nearly as much. I’d pay ten times what I do for it already! I have since moved on, mainly because of methylisothiazolinone, but if this were reformulated to be otherwise the same but with parabens (*no, parabens is not evil) I would go back to it in a heartbeat. I currently use Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder and I like it for my dry skin but it is a bit greasy over my sunscreen and it doesn’t have as much coverage. Anyways, if methylisothiazolinone doesn’t bother you, this is absolutely worth a try. It’s a total steal. But it wasn’t the price that attracted me, it was the finish.

I bought this product after doing a lot of research. I did not want to spend a fortune on a product that I was not gonna use very much. I use bb creams for daily makeup so this is my choice for big nights. This has great texture, did not cause breakouts, covers very well and stays on perfectly. My skin feels very dry sometimes, even then this does not get affected by dryness, great product for such small price.
