Pros: This makeup is great if you are trying to hide large pores, redness & lighter sun spots. Cons First of all it is very hard to apply this makeup because of how thick it is. It is not a liquid so you have to scoop it out with a little tool that they provide. It also doesn’t really set. It will come off on your phone, clothes etc. Looks greasy after applying so a setting powder is definitely a must. It will settle in fine lines & accentuate crepe skin. It is not long lasting, I would say it stays on for about 4 to 5 hours & then will start to break down in my T zone area which I have very dry skin so can’t even imagine if you had normal to oily skin. Actually the only time it really looks good is after having it on for about half the day & then you reapply another coat. I wear makeup daily & this lasts about 6 months.

Dermablend was amazing when I bought it years ago to cover tattoos for a play, I bought some recently and it does nothing to cover my tattoos even after layering. It also makes my face look greasy.

I used this product for years. Purchased the new formula and it gives me a rash around the eyes! I am so disappointed! I still have some old and am using it again…no sensitivity issues!
It was my GO TO HG for around my eyes!
What happened? Does anybody know what changed? Ingredient deck or poor quality?
The worst of it all is that it is apparently responsible for my swollen eyes. 🙁
My MD could not solve my red, swollen eyes. So sad, this was the basis for EVERYTHING.

did not work for me, at my age of 53, I have melasma and I had to put layers on my face just to cover it up, my face looked so greasy afterwards and I have dry skin.

I bought this to use over some world-class under-eye circles and rosacea, and I’ve been impressed with the results. This is the first concealer I’ve used that fully conceals both a broken capillary and the dark-purple, almost black shadows that I constantly have under my eyes. I’ve never had a problem with it becoming blotchy or creasing, as other reviews report. For dark circles, I start with primer, followed by color corrector, then a bit of foundation. This way I don’t have to use such a thick layer of Dermablend to conceal. I then immediately set with loose powder pressed into the skin with a puff. If you use a powder brush, you’ll end up rubbing the concealer right off. This stuff is also stellar for covering rosacea, unlike most foundations, which don’t adhere to the rough skin texture in those areas very well. Fortunately, the wax base in cover creme has no problem staying put, and I find that it mixes well with Lancome’s waxy color-corrector formula.
I always, always apply this cover creme over foundation with a concealer brush and set with powder immediately, and I’ve never had a problem with creasing or wear time. For me, if I use my fingers, it’s too difficult to blend it out properly, as the warmth of my fingertips lifts product away every time I touch my face and I end up either blotchy or with too much product caked on. On days when I want to use it as foundation, I apply 1-2 drops of face oil (just straight into the container), blend it into the cream with my fingers, then use a foundation brush to apply all over. That lets me start off with medium, rather than full, coverage and produces a more natural dewy finish.
My main complaint is that the shade range is so limited. I’m very pale with olive undertones (~NC15), so never an easy shade match. I use Warm Ivory, but it’s a bit too dark for me. I also wish it weren’t so matte, as the dryness of the formula can make skin look cakey or crepey when you try to build it up.

Honestly, I am not impressed with this foundation. I bought it to cover up some major redness on my face, and while it did significantly reduce the redness, it did not cover it completely. I get better coverage using Vichy Dermablend Corrective foundation or Dermacolor Camouflage cream. So for me, the foundation was not worth it.

I bought this in hopes of covering up acne scars and a birthmark that is on my neck. I would apply it with a beauty blender, and within the hour it would start to break down and break apart on my face. horrible for someone with acne prone skin! It felt very sticky and tacky on my face, it never really sunk into my skin like a foundation is supposed to do, I couldn’t get it to blend. the selection of shades are nice, but it definitely did not live up to my expectations.

I’ve been on the hunt for a full coverage foudation. After watching several you tubers rave about it, I decided to check it out. I went out to Macy and was color match to Olive brown. The foudation comes in a jar and little spatula so you are able to scoop product out. You warm up on back of your hand. On first Inspection: Omg super pretty! I had a glow.Full coverage everything I want in a foudation.
First day back to work, Primed my face, I applied with a morphe 438 buffing brush then set with Smash Box Photo filter powder at 10:00am. By the time I made it to work at 11:30. I was soooo oily. My face was shinning. Not in a good way.
The next day I tried Mac Mineralize skin finish natural. Same thing super oily. Foundation started to break down. So I thought to myself maybe I need to purchase the Dermablend setting powder. So back to Macy I go. I purchase the setting powder in Warm Saffron. Put my makeup on set with the warm saffron powder. SAME THING! SUPER OILY..Foundation starts breaking down after just a couple of hours. My job can be hectic at times and this foudation did not hold up well. I have oily skin so i know I have to blot and touch up but usually it’s after about 5 hours not an hour maybe two.I will be returning both items. Did not work for me
Pros: Full Coverage, Photographs Great, Great color range
Cons: Packaging, Wearability, Durability
My skintone reference:
Kat Von D: Deep 66
Mac Studio Fix: Nw 43

I bought this after suffering severe burns on my upperlip after waxing. I was left with dark alms or black scabs. Got this and while it didn’t cover the darkness completely it did an awesome job covering any flaws and toned down the dark burn scabs! I have oily skin so after using this, it turned dewy almost greasy looking on my cheeks and on my forehead. I am extremely oily, literally get asked if I’m sweating because I’m so oily. So if you’re this oily you may want to find a perfecting routine to use this. Otherwise, Clinique matte oil free foundation works great just not as full coverage. I also didn’t get the right shade in the Dermablend and it still worked great. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin, seriously, even cetaphil and cerave products irritate my skin to some degree and this didn’t give me any kind of itch or gross feeling. I did sweat a lot in this makeup and while it made me more oily, it still didn’t bother my skin like every single other foundation has. It didn’t last the full 12 hrs, but it lasted about 8 which is all I needed to get through my shift at the hospital! Great product, little too oily for me.
