This is a review for Mary Kay® CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in Light to Medium – which is just a tad too dark for my winter skin, I will try “Very Light” next – but in summer this will be just fine. For $20 (less on Ebay or find an MK lady who is going out of biz) it’s fine.
I am not a huge CC person – I like wet/dry/powder foundation (Yeah, I know – old skool) but this one is light feeling and seems just fine.

I bought this cream because of the good reviews and then I got it in discount. I put it on with my fingers, two pumps only for face and neck. It’s a decent product, doesn’t smell, covers light to medium and feels nice on my mixed sensitive skin. I set it with powder and it looks nice, my pores are less and it evens my skin tone nicely, builds up easily, not cakey. It’s really helping with the oils, I only had to blot after 7 hours on a hot day.
I got light to medium for my NC 30 skin tone. Really liked it for being so easy and light!

I like everything about this CC Cream…blends well, does not make me break out. I also use this on my neck and chest and it does not transfer onto my clothes for the most part but if it has, it washes out and does not stain.
I have bought several tubes and when the pump has stopped working because the pump can no longer dispense the product, DO NOT think that the tube is empty, because it is not.
On every tube that I have bought, when the pump no longer works, I cut both ends off of the tube and cut the tube down the center. I then scoop and scrape as much as I can from the cut tubing and from the neck/pump area…I then put this CC cream into a clean jar that I have saved just for this purpose…I honestly have over a month’s product left after the pump has stopped working…and I use this CC Cream every day.

I bought this in Light/Medium which on initial application looks great but it tends to oxidize to a rather bronzey look. So I ordered the Very light to blend with it. A point off for the very limited color choices.
Texture wise this is very nice. It feels like a lotion and blends easily into the skin. Lasts all day. Gives a little glow to the skin that maybe oily skinned ladies and gents may not like. Is very TM on the skin and evens texture. I still need a concealer so this just diffuses but that’s ok for me. Does not emphasize wrinkles or ages the look of skin.
It is not a full spectrum sunscreen. It does not contain avobenzone or zinc or titanium to make it full spectrum. Or meroxyl. So another sunscreen under it is necessary. But it’s only spf 15 so another sunscreen would be necessary anyway.
Stuff is cheap considering prices nowadays. $20 a tube is pretty reasonable. Great tube with pump.
If you’re willing to wear another spf, and you are lucky enough to find a color match then this is a budget friendly TM.

I have a lot of redness in my T-zone area and my skin is dry-combination. Definitely oilier in the summer. I am pale with neutral undertones (MAC F&B N1, L’Oreal True Match N1). I use the Very Light shade. Initially I was super disappointed to see how yellow the product was when I first tried it on my hand. But when I applied it to my face it did a great job concealing the redness in my skin and blended with my natural skin tone really well. I don’t need to apply it all over my entire face. I am really pleased with how it looks. It comes in a tube with a nice pump applicator, which earns more points for being less messy.

This is the first time I’ve ever found a base that is actually warm toned yet light enough for my skin! (I have a tube in Very Light). I love how it looks and feels on my skin and the fact that it doesn’t oxidise and go all rancid on my skin during the day. This is truly the best match on my skin and I love the pump top tube because it doesn’t let air in and dispenses the perfect amount. I prefer buying makeup from a store than waiting for a Mary Kay party/consultation but if I can’t find a good substitute then I will definitely buy again.

This is a decent CC cream. It comes in 4 colors: Light, Light to Medium, Medium to Deep, and Deep. I wear the Light to Medium and am an NC25-30. In comparison to my Lumene Vitamin C BB cream, this product offers a little more coverage than the Lumene. Its texture is a little thicker and you have to blend it more on the skin. The Light to Medium works pretty well with my skin tone. It also does not make my skin oilier during the day, which is a plus. I like the level of SPF the Lumene has better (SPF 20)- this only is SPF 15. This product costs $20 currently and you get 1 fl oz (30ml) of product. The Lumene costs $14.99 online (although I got mine for less on sale at CVS) and you get 1.7 fl oz, 50 ml of product. The Lumene only comes in 2 colors, Light and Medium, which is more limited of a range than this product.
Overall, a good CC cream. I won’t repurchase though, because for the price point, I like the Lumene better.
