I am IN LOVE with this foundation! If you like a luminous glowy finish I think you will also really love it. The description of this product on their website says it gives a semi-matte finish, but I would not describe it that way at all. Prior to using this I rotated between Josie Maran’s Argan Matchmaker Serum foundation (as an everyday) and MUFE HD (for fuller coverage/long days)- but I was looking for an everyday foundation that had slightly more coverage than the JM and less than MUFE – and in between medium coverage foundation- and this is perfect.
Long lasting & gives light to medium buildable coverage. Great luminous (not dewy) finish. I am a MAC NC20-25 (yellow undertones) and I ordered it in the shade Light- and I think its a hair too light for me, but I just add more bronzer now & it will most likely be perfect for fall/winter months. The brush it comes with is really nice actually- but I wish they would start selling just the foundation & make this available in stores because the formulation is so good.
I stated I would not repurchase only because 1) its only available online at Tarte.com, and 2) I feel like I am paying extra for the brush which I won’t need the second time around 3) I wish they would add a few more shades- like a light/medium.

I wanted to love this…it’s advertised as having the benefits of a BB cream with the coverage of a foundation. Plus, it’s oil free and paraben free. I picked Light, which proved far too dark for my ivory skin. But the worst part was how orange it was…even a very thin layer blended well with translucent powder left my looking like an Oompa Loompa. Any pale girls out there should choose the Fair color if you decide to try this product. The coverage was medium. Some of my Korean BB creams are actually thicker than this foundation! It did blend well and could be layered while looking fairly natural. Not enough to cover hyper pigmentation, but did improve general redness and reduce the appearance of pores. The staying power was just okay. I would describe the finish as semi-matte and I was shiny after a few hours, but I also have oily skin. Given the steep price ($48) and meh performance, I will not re-purchase.
