(Disclaimer: I don’t like putting full-face makeup because it makes my face feel clogged and heavy — like I’m wearing a real mask.) This product has a huge advantage of combining BB cream, CC cream and foundation in one bottle, which works well for a person like me who does not know what makeup brands to invest in, can’t be bothered to buy 3 bottles of different things when I can just get one, and rarely puts on makeup. I stumbled upon this while on vacation in Korea, and I bought it because the CC cream I had from them (discontinued) was decent.
I have the shade #03 but it is still a shade or two lighter than my skin tone, so if I am not careful, I end up with different coloured face and neck. Usually, I blot after application to reduce that effect. The foundation forms a layer on top of my skin, which feels a bit heavy for me (and quite uncomfortable), and when my face is oily, it shines through. I literally have a glossy face. This goes away if I apply InnisFree’s no-sebum mineral powder over the foundation (and perhaps also any other mattifying finishing powder?). But the foundation makes me uncomfortable enough that I cannot bring myself to wear full-face makeup for as long as I can get away with it (with the exception of browliners and lipsticks). Another caution for this product is that dry skin will be immediately obvious upon application — it gets patchy — so do apply moisturiser before using this.
Overall, the coverage was good, but I would not advise this for people who are darker-skinned than the average Korean, and those with oily but dry skin.

I just submitted a review for BCDation foundation, thinking it was the exact one I use. But I actually use the BCDation Plus. I have no idea what the differences are but for the “Plus” foundation, here’s my review:
LOVE LOVE LOVE this foundation for mature (combination) skin. This is the one I reach for almost daily, and I have quite a stash of BB & CC creams along with liquid foundations.
Via eBay I ordered something like a 20-pack sample at a very good price to see if this is something that would work for me.
YES! It definitely evens out skin tone, provides a smooth, fresh coverage that’s a bit of a Satin look – it’s not completely matte IMO, and it’s not oily looking either. It’s BEAUTIFUL. It’s thicker than a moisturizer and very easy to apply with a slightly damp sponge (I love the Real Techniques brand). It provides a medium coverage so for those of us in our 50’s and above, it’s a really nice, fresh look. Doesn’t settle into pores or lines. (I use a primer)

So, this new BCDation flanker. I was all curious for the previous, but somehow they never ended in my sample stash, but as soon as I saw this listed for sale, I was sold to the sleek packaging and nothing could stop me from buying it because all my foundations were empty.
Before, from TM, I only tried CC creams, so I was curious and concerned a bit, since I didn’t like the formerly newly formulated scents of their creams and CC samples (I also owned deluxe sample). But read on.
1. Color.
It comes in 3 shades, I chose the lightest, Vanilla Beige, it is a little bit on yellow side, but not that much, that it would actually alter your skin tone to be yellower. No, it’s beige, but as you apply it, it brightens, it definitely brightens complexion, so I advise to start with sampling. Lightest shade applies light, no joke. Doesn’t oxidize as well. My skin is pretty light, ok, it is light and ghostly, pale olive, neutral – orange and pink undertoned foundations don’t fit it. Etude House Any Cushion 02 fits like charm. This foundation luckily matches me and is almost invisible.
2. Texture.
They promise very light texture, that applies in thin layer on skin. So I expected tint like texture. Wrong, its definitely creamy, but texture is more like water based foundation, which this is not. It has this drier feel, not too siliconey or too oily. When you apply it may leave horrible impression- it lightens and goes streaaaky all over the face! But fear not, after I get it all over my face, I press my hands against the skin and it smoothes out, yay. I apply it with my fingers.
3. Finish.
It is more on a matte/drier, bit powdery side. Although it has a bit of healthy glow to it. It may accentuate dirty pores or dryness. My skin is on drier side, pores get clogged fast if no care taken, I have a bit of dry patches from use of salicylic acid and few spots.
It makes skin look good, nicely covers small spots and decently covers old blemishes. (I never ask foundation to cover spots and blemishes, imo they have to be treated, not covered if there is no acne problems). It hides pores nicely, evens out skin texture.
To touch, there is 0% tackiness. And it does not come off if lightly rubbed as well. If you scratch, tough, it will come off, or sweat too. When it gets under water, it doesn’t turn white and streaky.
4. Scent – roses.
5. Packaging – comes in tall plastic bottle with pump, on its side there is transparent line so you can estimate how much product is left.
Overall – very impressed. It deserves to be my favorite along EH Any Cushion!
