I am always on the look out for that “miracle” foundation and change foundations quite often but this I have kept for summer and now winter.
I do like a reasonable coverage and always use a brush rather than the terrible little pad that is supplied. Why bother, Mirenesse? Great idea with being able to buy the refill as that certainly saves money and better than throwing it all in the bin, after it’s finished.
One issue is the lack of colours but Mocha does seem OK for me.

The most amazing foundation I’ve ever used.
It blends perfectly with my skin, covers imperfections without becoming cakey and doesn’t make me break out.
The packaging is elegant and I really like how you can replace just the foundation pod inside, meaning way less waste!
No parabens, no talc, just really good makeup.
I’ll be buying another as soon as this runs out!

I have been using this product in Vanilla for the last two years. I am fair skinned with quite a lot of melasma and rosy cheeks. It is more the texture of a serum than a regular foundation and is held in a cushion inside a compact. It is refillable. I find that it blends well, but it can leave a slight peachy coloured line during the winter months. If using the sponge provided, I find that tapping on the makeup works best. I generally use my finger to get some of the makeup out of the pad, dot it on my face and use my beauty blender to spread and blend the makeup. I have sensitive skin and have had no reaction to this foundation. As far as price goes, I have never paid full price for this. I am a VIP member on the Mirenesse site. I purchase it as I need to rather than subscribing to their monthly plan. I also purchase from http://www.hautelook.com when it’s selling there.

this stuff does plump out fine lines but its to hard to use and if you put more than one layer on you look dead back to studio sculpt by mac

This is one of my favourite foundations. I have it in the shade Mocha, which is an excellent match for my Medium tone, slightly olive skin colour.
It comes in a compact, and the actual foundation comes in refills. The compact is very sturdy, and there is an inner, flip out plastic layer, in which to put the applicator. This makes it very portable. It is easy to put in your bag for touch-ups, or to take when you travel.
It is a liquid foundation, but it’s within a sponge. It dries matt. I find it applies easily, blends well, and stays on my skin in the hottest, most humid weather.
Mirenesse can be expensive. I only by the products when they are on sale. They have a different sale every 24 hours. This means you need to check daily, if there is something you are wanting, or you can just buy it full price. I don’t find this to be great customer service, but I do like all the products I have tried so far. I am only able to buy it online in Australia.

I usually don’t wear a lot of foundation. But I decided to go out on a limb and purchase a high quality one and one that goes from liquid to powder. That way it’s build able coverage and stays matte by absorbing any excess oil during the day. This foundation is s dream!!! It’s light not heavy, it’s blends beautifully and stays put all day without settling into creases. I have found my go to holy grail foundation. It is quite pricey but if you join the VIP club, which I did, you get a $25 coupon each month. But you pay for what you get and in this case it’s well worth it. It lets your skin breathe and doesn’t rub off on clothing but comes off easily with makeup remover. I use those makeup remover wipes and those take it off just fine. So happy I took a chance on this, I won’t ever look back.

I’m the first on Make Alley to review this foundation, and it’s a pleasure! Here is the review I posted at Mirenesse.com on September 22, 2014
“Love! – I can stop looking for foundation that wows me…after 40 years of searching for the right fit. That’s not to say I won’t try other Mirenesse foundations. This one gives a nice soft focus to the skin. I saw Jackie St. Germain on YouTube apply it and I was amazed. I’ve seen a lot of beauty gurus applying foundations but nothing like I saw (sp) on her. I told my friend about it and we both ordered it just from that video….”
I have since purchased two backups of this foundation, because at full compact price it’s expensive at $71.91. You can get a 20% discount if you sign up for a VIP account, which I did. The VIP price was $57.53. (The VIP account costs $26 a month, and includes a $25 voucher to use toward a $65 purchase or higher. VIP international shipping is free.)
The compact refill is regularly $44.55, but the VIP price is $35.64. When I received my first $25 VIP voucher, I ordered the two refills which ended up costing $23.14 each.
I am still in love with this foundation a month after posting my first review. In fact, I packed up 9 foundations and I’m shipping them to a friend this weekend. There is no reason for them to sit in my vanity being ignored. I hope Mirenesse never stops selling this foundation.
Tip: When you believe the cushion in the compact is used up, turn the cushion over to access more foundation.
