Impressed. These shadows are creamy and apply like a dream. I am also in love with the universally flattering rose gold color “rose.” I can already tell I’m going to empty that pan before any of the others. I’d buy singles of rose and Aubergine again for certain. I also like that this set (which I got seriously marked down at Nordstrom rack, contributing to my enthusiasm) came with a pretty good mascara and probably the nicest a eyeshadow and Liner brushes I has ever used in my life. I want to throw out all my other brushes and use these.

No, I would not purchase this again, in fact I returned it. Unfortunately, the quality of the shades are not what I expect for Lorac. I am light/medium with pink undertones. as such, my eyes have some pink. I primed with Lorac Behind the Scenes Primer, and used Lorac Beige e/s (a light cream matte) as a base. Rose was dry and the pigment non existent, When I first started wearing makeup, I used a complete pan of a rose tea Estée Lauder e/s. I have never found a replacement, that perked up my eyes instead of making me look ill. I had hoped Rose would be it. It’s not. I also had high hopes for Spice. Unfortunately it’s not the same Spice that I love from the Picture Perfect palette, or is reviewed here on MUA. This Spice is a sparkly reddish brown, not the beautiful shimmery taupe I had expected. Overall a disappointment, Instead I purchased this lorac kit (, pewter e/s (along with several other items from lorac’s website), and a Real Techniques brush set and am much happier!
