These colors are amazing. They are highly pigmented and blend well. The packaging is cheap and the applicator keeps falling out of its spot but I never use sponge tips anyway so its not a huge concern.
I like the fact that it comes with a primer and a highlighter. More pallets should include those!

Bought these palettes in three colors: Soho grand, Smokey Brown’s, and union square. These are really great eyeshadows for the price! They are all very very pigmented, (use a primer) and blend so well. I have many higher end eyeshadow palettes from sephora, urban decay, etc. and these NYC palettes seriously blend better than my high ends! It comes with primer, which honestly works almost as well as UD primer potion, just don’t use too much or it will crease a little. It also comes with a cream highlight which I have yet to use. The shadows go on super smooth with a lot of color payoff. I am overall super happy with my purchase!

I love it!!! It’s wicked cheap (I got it for like $4) and it works great! It makes a GREAT smokey eye if you know how to do it!

942 – Smokey Blues – REVIEW: I picked up this palette at Shoppers Drug Mart (CA). I had read all the reviews on MA and decided to give this line a try. I seriously never bought anything from this line because to me it seemed on the low end and I always equated cheap with “irritation to my eyes”. NOT SO, in fact this palette comes with 4 colours to enhance blue eyes and a primer/highlighter. Amazing pigment, hardly any fall out and the glitter is not over the top (too much glitter at this age renders one of drag queen status). The colours are from lightest – a pretty warm yellowish gold, a taupe leaning towards light olive, a dark chocolate bronze, and a deep merlot with undertones of chocolate and plum. The primer and highlighter are all in the package.
I can’t believe I never tried these palettes before. The whole shebang was $6.99 Cdn. and they are extremely pigmented (even without the use of the primer). I am impressed NYC. I will be trying more of your makeup now!
The packaging looks cheap, the dual ended sponge tip application keeps falling out of it’s groove and the packaging is super cheap but possibly why they can also offer a fabulous eyeshadow at a fraction of the price (so no real complaints here). I don’t carry makeup around with me anyhow.
VERY GOOD! Must try – super inexpensive and very good quality! 🙂
