Expensive. Cakes into the tiniest line and does nothing for under eye shadows. Avoid!

Definite no no for me!
What I was looking for when purchasig this BB eye cream: moisture, concealing dark circles, brightening effect, SPF and above all: a flawless indetectable finish. Actually, the same I expected from my Dior Nude BB Cream (which I love), just formulated for eye area specific needs.
What it actually is: a very very cheap looking concealer that managed to ruin my “natural/no make-up look” every time I used it. And because it costs a bundle, I did try everything to make it work: brush, beauty blender, fingers. Nothing did! Looks like the cheapest of cakey concealers and does a great job of making the few wrinkles I have look ten times worse!
I really wanted to love this one, but unfortunately we were not a good match!

I prefer sheer coverage under the eyes and have minimal dark circles (constant use of Vit C serum has helped tremendously) and I like PTR’s CC eye cream – so I was interested in trying the Dior version of a tinted eye cream product.
The shade is a light, sheer ivory/beige-y colour, and comes in a tube with a doe-foot applicator like lip gloss or concealer usually does. It also has SPF 20 (titanium dioxide – a mineral sunscreen which I prefer for my sensitive under eyes). Although the colour worked for me, it obviously won’t work for everyone so it’s shame this only comes in one colour. My other problem is fragrance, which I generally hate in any product but in an eye product? It’s just asking for trouble and irritation.
Fragrance aside, this offers sheer to light coverage and did cover and brighten the mild dark circles I do have and also makes me look more awake. Even though the amount you get is tiny, you only need a small amount for each use so it should last a while. It’s easy to blend, goes on smoothly, didn’t crease and lasted almost all day with a bit of setting powder. The finish is slightly luminous but doesn’t feel oily or greasy and doesn’t slide around – which is good. It claims to hydrate but I still needed to use moisturiser underneath – it’s not mega moisturising or anything miraculous here.
Repurchase/Recommend? I wouldn’t repurchase this due to fragrance and really – my BB cream or foundation works just as well if not better at brightening up the under eye area. I’d recommend this if you’re ok with the fragrance/price/gimmickiness of the product and just want something convenient that has sheer-light coverage for under eyes.

Hmmm. Now, I’m torn by this product…
I’d done my research online before buying and knew that it was meant to reduce puffiness, conceal and provide SPF – however I was surprised when the SA tried to convince me that it’d be the only (day) eye treatment I’d need.
I’m in my late thirties and am, quite frankly, obsessed with lines & wrinkles. I love my eye cream and decided to ignore this piece of advice – and have found that this BB creme works perfectly when applied over (eye) cream.
With the onset of fine lines around my eyes I’d been avoiding putting concealer near the outer eye – however due to the fact that this product is so moisturising I’ve found that I can conceal the whole eye area (after a months use I’m convinced that my lines are actually looking better).
Coverage is excellent – this really does conceal dark circles – and the staying power, great; I don’t need to do any touch ups.
Application is super easy and the packaging, very neat. It conceals brilliantly, is long lasting, doesn’t cake and in theory could be used without an eye cream – what’s not to love, right?
…The fact that there are just TWO shades to choose from! Ridiculous!
It’s summer and I’m tanned & using bronzer so I went for the darker of the two (luminous peach) – but am having to blend another concealer (Rimmel Wake Me Up) into my tinted moisturiser so that I don’t get the panda eye effect.
I’m sure that come the winter months I’ll be able to get a perfect match; but for there to be only two choices is crazy – and a real shame. … If there were more shades this could be a real hero product.
The price is as you’d expect (for Dior) but is one I’m happy to pay – despite it not really working for my skin colour I do like it and will repurchase.
