The brush reminds me of a hummingbird’s beak; it’s so amazingly thin. This is a great everyday liner from a cruelty free brand. I’ve tried a lot of liquid pens and most of them don’t last well on my watery eyes. I wear contacts and frequently use eye drops. I would buy this one again. However, it’s a water-resistant (not waterproof) formula.
PROS:
1. I love this skinny brush! It’s even thinner than Clinique’s Pretty Easy Pen. I enjoy precision. I like being able to make dots in between lashes or draw an extremely fine line along the top lashline for a natural look. If you are in the mood for a dramatic, thicker line, you can build this up for a cat eye. This brush gives you more options than a big felt tip does.
2. Dark ink, but it takes a while to build it up.
3. Water-resistant. Doesn’t flake off, split, smear, or bleed. (However, it’s not waterproof.)
4. If you are careful, you can tightline with it, because the brush is so skinny. Thicker brushes are not as forgiving and ink can run into the eye. Blinc’s pen is easy to control.
5. The ink washes off completely with face cleanser and water, for those who are concerned about removing it.
6. Blinc is a cruelty free brand that features the PETA logo.
7. Safe for sensitive eyes. No itching or burning.
8. Pens are easy to tote in a small purse.
CONS:
1. Not waterproof. If you have watery eyes and rub the skin around the inner corner, the liner will rub off, but at least it doesn’t make a smeary unattractive mess, so it’s easy to touch up the line if you carry the pen with you. I have found that the ink of Clinique’s Pretty Easy pen lasts better than Blinc’s ink.
2. Expensive at $26.
3. It ran out of ink after four months. Stila’s eyeliner pen lasted a year. Clinique’s lasted a year also.
If you absolutely must have an undoubtedly waterproof eyeliner, MAC Liquidlast will survive crying, humidity, hayfever season, pool parties and water parks. To take it off, you need oil or makeup remover, so if the ink gets on your fingers, it’s not easy to rinse. But once dry, it won’t budge. That one comes in a tube with a brush applicator at the end of a wand in the cap. I wish Blinc’s Ultrathin pen were as waterproof as MAC Liquidlast. However, Blinc has a water-resistant formula that will satisfy most people and it has a wonderfully thin brush. It’s also easier to remove than MAC Liquidlast.
TIP: Before you line with Blinc, use an eye shadow primer and set it with your powder shadow or a setting powder. Lining on a dry surface will help it last.
During an average workday, Blinc’s eyeliner holds up well. The ink removes without much effort when you wash your face, in case that’s a concern of yours. The super thin tip makes touching up a breeze. This pen is easy to master, travel-friendly, and it’s cruelty free.

This eyeliner is perfectly named. The bristles are very thin, and I find this makes it easier for me to get closer to my lash line for less dramatic looks. However, that isn’t to say that this cannot be used to channel Cleopatra. This liner can give you a more dramatic look depending on how you use it. I love that I can subtly enhance my lashes without making my liner the focus. Very handy when rocking a casual, day-to-day look. I do recommend shaking this well (with the cap on!) before using, and I echo the other user who said if this gets bits dried on the end, just rinse it in cold water and dry with a paper towel/tissue. I have purchased this multiple times, and have given it as a gift to my closest friends. Love it!

Don’t get me wrong, this is a good eyeliner with good staying power, but it’s tip is super thin, which makes it almost impossible to draw a straight line. I have steady hands, but still… For that reason, I wouldn’t repurchase.
Update: I have recently started to appreciate this eyeliner more as it allows me to draw a line super close to my lashes. It doesn’t last as well as I’d like though, but it’s alright.

this eyeliner was super black and pigmented and seemed to last decently. unfortunately, the ‘ultrathin’ tip is made of bristles, not a felt tip, and it managed to fray out to the point of being completely unusable in about a week. had to return it.
