I actually have two of these because I’m too cheap to buy something that probably would work a lot better than these pencils.
Don’t get me wrong – I love gel and liquid eyeliners as much I do for pencils, but pencils are the easiest to smudge out with a brush for a natural effect.
These pencils are very creamy, which in itself is a problem for oily eyelids. Even with eye primer they can smudge, unless it’s something *really* effective like Wet n’Wild’s Fergie version. It’s not enough of a problem for me because they’re $5 and easy to use, but they are far from the best.
The color is nice and softer than your conventional black, but dark enough to define the eyes and I find it satisfactory enough to use for everyday. Maybe the upside of having these pencils being really creamy is that it’s hard for them to dry out, making them last longer.

I had bought the purple previously and when this brand went on sale (half off where I’ve seen it) I picked up a bunch more. Like the purple, this is REALLY dark. It’s hard to tell it’s brown as a liner (as opposed to those large swatches). And like most gel liners, it does smudge a bit in the waterline. But, I do notice it being better than some other gel liners in that it actually deposits nicely and I have no issues with it on the top of the lid. These are extemely pigmented as well. Another thing I like about gel liners (as long as they are pigmented enough) is that you can rub them onto a liner brush and get a more winged lok with them, which you really can’t do with a standard pencil (too dry in my opinion or even sharpened well they aren’t usually as pigmented). It’s not perfect like a liquid but at least you can play up the variety of looks that way. Plus it makes the color a bit more noticable. I like these.

This is my favorite liner. Goes on smooth and smudge proof and cheap!

Just ok. I have trouble with it traveling beneath my eye. I’ve tried setting it with powder too.

These are my favourite eyeliners and the only ones that stay on my eyes all day. The brown is a lovely dark brown, very creamy and doesn’t drag. Cheap as chips and outdoes all the bigger flashier brands. I love it!

This is an ok eyeliner. Its not very pigmented (the black is dark, dark, dark!) but comes with the same issue – which is that its super soft and has to be sharpened each and every time you use it, sometimes as much as once for use on each eye.

I have oily, watery eyes that are Asian shaped (hooded) so a totally smudge-proof, waterproof eyeliner is essential. I heard great things about this eyeliner being comparable to Urban Decay’s eyeliners at a fraction of the price.
Pros:
-this brown is perfection! not too black, not too brown, not too red or yellow based (perfect IMO for Asians)
-intense color payoff
-smudge-proof (I lined my hand with several smudgeproof eyeliners and let them set and rubbed the lines furiously–this was the only one that didn’t budge)
-waterproof (dunked said hand in water–again only one that didn’t budge)
-can wear this on waterline (this wasn’t 100% foolproof, but definitely minimal fading 95% foolproof and I’ve tested a lot of liners–that’s good!)
-inexpensive
Cons:
-gotta sharpen
-not every store carries prestige so I gotta make a trip to find it (due to popularity and not all stores carrying it, I have to buy 2 in one trip)
Definitely give this brand a try!!!

This eyeliner just doesn’t stay put. I went without mascara a few days and wore this eyeliner only to determine which was the problem, and this eyeliner almost seemed to be flaking off. If set with powder it holds up a little better, but it’s really hard to get it to stay in place throughout the day. I’m currently trying Clinique Quickliner in dark chocolate as a replacement. It’s just not acceptable for someone my age to be wearing makeup that’s all over the place.

Most eye pencils, even waterproof ones, flake off or fade on me, but Prestige Total Intensity line never fails me. I don’t use this for my waterline but I line my eyes with it and it looks beautiful.

I love the total intensity liners. They are so creamy and pigmented and they really so last a long time on your eyes. I prefer using brown over black because it isn’t too harsh, so I use this color for my everyday look. Awesome tip that I read was if you want this to last on your waterline, make sure you wipe waterline with qtip first and then apply liner. I also love smudging this liner on my upper lash line for a daytime smoky look. This is my 4th liner from this line. Def would repurchase! 🙂
