It’s not the best eyeliner I’ve ever used, but it’s not the worst either. I had only read the reviews for the gold one which was highly praised, so I kind of assumed the black would be the same, only to see it’s ratings are pretty low. But on to the review:
What I like about it:
a. It’s easy-ish to put on, glides relatively well and the line is continuous, doesn’t tug or skip
b. It’s very black
c. You can draw thick or thin lines, according to preference
d. It stays on until I take it off.
e. Doesn’t irritate my eyes
What I don’t like:
a. That it’s just easy-ish to put on. Meaning, it doesn’t glide as easily as PF Eye Booster for example, but it doesn’t drag like the Stila one did
b. It doesn’t feel like you get a lot of product in the tube, but this may be just an impression.
At that price though, it would have been nicer if there was more product in the tube.
I like it. But, next time I will just rebuy my trusted PF.

I was really excited to try this eyeliner since I’ve never try a Mac liquid liner before and hearing all these years about their great products, I finally decided to give it a try. Overall, the product is a good wear but due to product packaging design, I will not purchase this product again.
Pros:
-The eyeliner is long lasting and the applicator tip is not too thick or thin or flimsy. Firm enough to apply but pliable enough to apply cat eyed line.
-The eyeliner is definitely sweat proof. I wore this in 90 degree humid summer weather and it didn’t smear at all.
-It is very easy to clean off with makeup remover or just simply water and does not leave dark smears of residue behind like others I’ve experienced with before.
Cons: Okay, the main problem that I have with this eyeliner is the packaging, not the box, but the actual container that holds the product.
-The eyeliner liquid tends to build right above the applicator where the applicator screws back into the container. This causes product buildup which led to difficulty screwing the applicator back into the container due to buildup.
-With buildup, product and money is lost and if the applicator top cannot securely screw back into the container, the product will ultimately dry up.
-Additionally, the top applicator plastic cracked because of the residue build up. I guess this is my fault for trying to screw it back in. Because it can’t screw back in properly, I don’t bring it around with me in my bag because I fear it will leak all over the place.

Really disappointed with this product. Didn’t last long and the liner had a shiny finish on my eyelids? Will not be repurchasing. I think you could get a much better product from the drugstore for a fraction of the price.

Oh it pains me to give negative reviews but avoid this if you have watery eyes and/or oily skin. I even tried elf lock & seal on it no Bueno. It’s going back!!! MAC def needs to come out w a waterproof (not this water resistant s—) liquid liner. Very disappointed. I’ve tried a cheap liner from Essence for $3 that works better or if Imma use MAC using Fluidline stays a ton better even their pencils stay better. I had grey/black splatter under my eyes when my eyes watered, what a mess!!

I found the wand was easy to use but it is VERY wet and doesn’t stay on at all! As soon as I curl my eyelashes it wipes away the product even if I leave it to dry for few moments. Also after a while it started to come out watery and I wasn’t getting a black colour more like a grey and it would wipe off by the end of the day.
For the price of this you would expect better and I have tried drugstore products that are better. Will not repurchase.

I’m not good at using liquid liners, but for some reason I’m good/decent at using the superslicks. Has good longwear, comes off easy in the shower. It comes off like how tubular mascara comes off. Very black. I like.

I really like this eyeliner. Previously I have used MAC gel eyeliners with various different brushes that some claim is impossible not to get a good look with. It would take me a good 15-20 minutes to get the look right, with plenty of revisions. It all just became frustrating in the end until i stopped using eyeliner.
But then I found this product. I like it because the brush is quite stiff, so it doesn’t go everywhere and ruin your makeup. Yes, perhaps you have limited maneuvre ability with the stiffer end and you can’t do amazing twists and turns with your liner but whatever. I just need to be able to put on eyeliner and this works fine for that.
It is also quite a bold black and it takes only one swipe to achieve that. It stays on all day, never smudges and it was still flawless after I took a shower once.

I think I am one of those rare people who just does not like eyeliner of any kind. I would rather just use good mascara. At any rate, This is kind of watery and hard to use. Also it is so wierd to take off, as it gets gummy. Yuck. Steer clear.

Ugh. This just was not what I was looking for. You had to go over it a few times to even get a dark black and it would just flake off and its was just not nice. The good things I can say is that a few times when I took the time to go over it a few times I did get a nice finishing look and the felt tip was designed quite well. Plus the packaging is so small and convenient. I think when the product began to slowly dry up was when it got 10000x worse. I think if this was more pigmented so you didn’t need to keep going over it and then have it become all flakey this would be good because you can get a really nice line with the felt tip provided. I wish I held my guns and got their other eyeliner because I originally wanted their liner that comes in a pot that I’ve heard good things about but the lady at the counter told me to get this instead so I trusted her and bought it. Now this was back probably 2 years ago and I used it till It ran dry (which was only a few months) then I switched it up and tried a bunch and finally found Bobbi Browns liner which I’m still loving till this day! I’ve got like 10 things from MAC and I only enjoy like 4 things out of the 10 so I’m disappointed that this was yet another product I didn’t like.

Update: After using this eyeliner for a while I realized my lashes started becoming shorter and thinner.. basically because I had to rub so hard to get the hard paste texture of the liner off it was dragging the lashes out with it! I’ve changed my overall rating, and will not be buying this product again…
Old review:
I’m LOVING this eyeliner! Its very easy to apply , with a proper tip (not a brush which can go all over the place and ruin your masterpeice), has a strong colour and stays for ages. Even if you wash your face it stays there and barely smudges, as if you’ve applied a paste that’s solidified rather than normal eyeliner that can make you resemble a panda if you’re not careful.
I would definitely buy this again and strongly recommend it
