Worst eyeliner I’ve ever had. It is not black, lasts close to nothing and burns my eyes. Do not buy this

back to the black eyeliner graveyard this goes. it washes off if your eyes water at all, it smudges into the creases (wrinkles) and it is not black enough. sort of a transparent black grey color. sorry but the drugstore gets this one back in a hurry. more crap. less quality. p.s. Do NOT get caught in the rain with this junk.

This doesn’t last 2 hours on me let alone the 8h promised on the packaging. The color is not always pigmented depending on the angle you hold the market at, but I could deal with that if all the pigment didn’t flake off within a few hours. Definitely regret purchasing this.

After months of using a gel eye-liner that comes in a pot and you need a brush to apply, I needed a quick and easy eye-liner for day to day use and this is PERFECT. Application is really fast, it creates a smooth and concise line with no fuss, takes hardly any time which is great for when you’re rushing to get ready as it looks like you spent a lot more time on your eye-liner. And it’s lasted me quite a while so far! Although I tend to only use this for a simple black lid line, I haven’t experimented quite as much with a flick or anything to fancy. This is more of a everyday look, I would probably use something different for a fancier look.
Pros:
– strong black colour
– easy application
– good price
– looks great
Cons:
– can fade during the day
– might need re-application depending on wear
– the print itself on the bottle can fade quickly and if you like well packaged products that look expensive like I do, it can look old very soon.
Overall:
– I would definitely buy this product again, good value for money and is great for quick and simple eye-liner application.

The colour is truly black and bold. It is also very easy to use and draw a beautiful wing. The ease of use is a big bonus for me, as it is thick and sort of like using a sharpie (rather than a fine, fiddly eyeliner pen). Inside the cap, there is another lid that keeps getting stuck to the actual felt tip each time I try remove the lid. Maybe my one is faulty or it is just bad packaging?

Pros:
– Jet black. Good pigmentation.
– Cheap. SGD$19.90
– Easily available @ most departmental stores, Watsons or pharmacies.
– Thick and sturdy felt tip allows easy application esp for those with shaky hands.
Cons:
– It dries way too quickly, and doesn’t allow me to recorrect my lines without smudging them.
– It’s not waterproof.
– After a couple of yawns, my eyes teared and there goes my eyeliner…
Conclusion: I’ll stick to my Sephora Doe eyed eyeliner… unless i need a quick fix!

I bought this on a whim because there was a discount on L’Oreal products. I can’t say that I’m love or hate this product. When I did a test on my hand, the color was a rich black but when I drew it on my eyelids it was a greyish black and I had to touch up several times to get a bold black. I kinda disappointed at first but I realised that this would be perfect for school – look smokey and not too bold. Throughout the day the color faded slightly which was still ok. The weather was really humid and I was sweating a lot but this eyeliner didn’t really smudge as much as some other ones I’ve tried e.g. Stilla’s smudge stick. Since the color was already a greyish black when it smudged it just looked like I had eyeshadow on so it was kinda nice. Also this thing comes off really easily but I’m using Missha’s oil-based makeup remover so I’m not sure about other removers. The thing that irritated me the most about this product (I took off 1 lippies because of this) is that the tip is too sharp. You know how new backboard markers have a v.hard tip? This is it. I didn’t know the first time and I was rushing for time so when I used it on my eyelids it really REALLY stung for quite awhile before the stinging sensation died down. If you want to try this eyeliner I would suggest blunting the tip just a little first with a sterile scissors or something. Also, there’s this marker smell which I thought was still tolerable.
Anyway, I won’t buy this again since it wasn’t a fantastic product and I want to try other eyeliners – eyeliner freak here! 🙂

The Super Liner Blackbuster retails for SGD$20.90 in retail stores. I mainly picked this because of its sleek packaging. It’s short, lightweight and to me it feels very travel friendly.
Pros:
+ Felt tip liner: You can choose to draw a thin line or thicken it out to have a cat eye look effect. This means you can draw different types of eyeliners. Isn’t it very convenient?!
+Waterproof, doesn’t come off easily unless you are using a makeup remover.
+Sleek packaging, very travel friendly in my opinion.
Cons:
– Waterproof, but NOT smudge proof. Maybe because I have slightly oily lids, but the colour came off / smudged after wearing it for 3 hours or the colour faded. Definitely spoiled the whole look when I was out. I didn’t know whether to re-apply it or to remove it! It was so awkward.
– Only comes in 1 colour (black). I like black so it’s not an issue for me, but it would be better to have more variety of colours?
** Since it’s still kind of a liquid eyeliner, it takes a bit for the eyeliner to dry and set when first applied, just to take note of that.
Overall, I wouldn’t repurchase it again since it is pretty expensive in my country.
I’m quite surprised not much people reviewed on this!

Bought the L’Oreal Super Liner Blackbuster at Boots while on holiday in London, England and I have really enjoyed working with this particular eyeliner. With its Sharpie-like brush tip, the application is nearly idiot proof and that helps me immensely as I am not super adept, nor have I ever been, at applying eyeliner. When using a typical eyeliner pencil I usually smear or smudge it or my hand shakes which leaves me with a jumpy, jagged line.
The positives: The brush tip allows for a thin, precise line or a thicker, more heavily drawn line and, thus far, I haven’t made a mistake in any of my application tries. The color applies smoothly and stays in place; it is also terrifically easy to draw a flick at the edge of the eyelid for that cat-eye look that is currently so popular and on trend. Color lasts throughout an evening and doesn’t migrate on the lid. Easily washes off with my normal make-up removal routine: Dove soap, warm water, and an Eve Lom muslin cloth.
The negatives: None that I have found in using the product.
In the United States, this eyeliner is marketed by L’Oreal as The Blackbuster by Infallible and cost is approximately $8.99.
