I had high hopes… but this eyepencil runs. It also irritated my eyes.
(What I don’t get at all, is why living in Europe I can’t return product which quality was really disappointing to me. Seems like a consumer only has a right to give their money and nobody has an obligation to deliver the quality).

I love this eyeliner because of its formulation, its staying power, the fact that it doesn’t smear (no panda eyes), and for the sophisticated range of colors. I have it in espresso, cassis, celadon, and most recently I added santal. I’ve re-purchased both the espresso and the cassis a couple of times.
My eyes tear often (supposedly it’s an age thing) and I had the hardest time finding an eyeliner that didn’t disappear as a result. But this Chanel Stylo is different and lasts until I remove it at night using a cotton pad and my favorite Erno Laszlo makeup remover, although sometimes, as I wash my face with a muslin cloth, I notice that a bit more is rubbed off so this liner really stays.
The pencil is easy to use because you just open the cap and twist a tiny bit (about 1/8″) up and apply; when done, you just twist it back into its casing. It’s great for tight-lining because the cap contains a little sharpener and as needed, you can put a little point on the tip of the liner to make it more exacting when you apply it. I think it’s important to completely close the cap when you’re done — pressing until you hear a little “click” — because you don’t want the liner to dry out.
This is a typically great product from Chanel. Top quality, elegant, and fashionable. Highly recommended and may they NEVER discontinue it!

I bought two of these, Pomme de pin and Feuilles. The colors are very pretty and they glide on easily. But as someone else wrote: Panda City. They just do not stay on. Will not repurchase.

Best eyeliner! I have been using Lancome for years, and samples from Estee Lauder and Clarins. The Lancome one was always smudging, so I decided to buy this with my Optimum points. It is wonderful — very easy to put on and doesn’t budge. Beautiful colour. Overall, very high-quality pencil, I will definitely repurchase.

Got recommended this product in the store after asking for an eye pencil, which will not smudge. Bought it since it was pretty much the same price as my favorite Clinique Skiny Stick, which is the only pencil which never smudges on me. Put on Chanel yesterday, two hours later-looked like a panda… Bad smudge and it had to be touched up already. Thankfully, the store exchanged it for my Clinique. I wanted to love this product, but no chance.

Used this eyeliner forever and I love it! I have a very active lifestyle and live in a very humid climate, even after 12 or more hours this eyeliner is still the same as when I first put it on. I always have people asking what I wear because it lasts. It doesn’t come off until I take it off, even when swimming, any eye makeup remover easily takes it off

I have tried every sort of eyeliner there is, shiesdo, revlon, estee lauder, bobbi brown, mavala, christian dior, make up for ever, clinque, lancome,max factor….from liquid liners, kohl pencils and so on. I have found the chanel to be the smoothest and the longest lasting. I have dry eyes so put eyedrops in through the day and find that this is the best waterproof one. I have dark features but find the espresso looks more stylish and less severe then the black on me as it is a real dark brown. I have bought a few in case they discontinue this line so you could say it is my HG.

This eyeliner is really nice. I’ve worn this every day for the last seven days and I’m very impressed. I tight line and use it on my upper lash line. It lasts all day, 10+ hours.
My face wash does a good job of removing most of the liner. Afterwards I swipe over each eye lightly with Lancome Bi facil and the rest easily comes off.
I’m going back to pick more colors.
