This would probably be a good product if it hadn’t dried out so quickly I barely had time to try it a couple times. It’s very black, doesn’t smudge at all but it’s not a struggle to get it off and I like the felt tip cause it’s so easy to use but for the price I would’ve liked to use this a bit longer..

NARS Stylo is pretty good, not waterproof, but held up on my inner corner better than Kat Von D’s tattoo liner. Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof liquid pen seems to have the best ink of the pens I’ve tried, but the felt tip can begin to fray over time. My eyes occasionally tear up and will dissolve a wimpy liner in three seconds flat. I had high hopes for Urban Decay liquid liner, but that burned and this doesn’t.
This pen is a soft felt tip marker type that gives you a nice dramatic line. Stila’s tip is skinnier which is better for precision. Stila’s finish is a bit glossy and this is more flat.
This stylo is a bit more foolproof to apply whereas many eyeliners require experience. As pens go, this is a good competitor, but expensive, like most of the high end brands. $27 ain’t cheap, and it’s not perfect. I tried the beautiful navy and brown shades but ultimately left with the darkest. It does require touch-ups, so I can’t give it a perfect rating. Stila’s wears a bit better.

This is an okay eyeliner. I like the felt tip liquid eyeliners, I feel like it’s easier to get a good result with them. It is very much like the Stila liquid eyeliner which I ADORE, but the felt tip is not as “bendy” as the Stila one – which makes it a little more difficult to use, in my opinion. You also have to apply more than 1 coat to get the line really black, and you also have to store it lying down (why?) which is totally annoying. The staying power is really good! It does not smudge at all.

I am impressed with this liquid liner. The application was super easy compared to my other liners. After reading reviews, I was afraid the tip would be too stiff and hard on my eyelids, but it’s perfect. The liner is smooth and intensely black, at least on my light skin. It was a quick application and it didn’t get in my eyes which has happened with other liners. What I was most impressed with was the staying power. It came off easily with eye makeup remover, but is difficult to remove otherwise. I’ve had swatches on the back of my hand that I have rubbed and scrubbed and they won’t come off completely. The swatches lasted through the night, a shower, and multiple soapy hand washes without smudging, smearing, or flaking off. They have faded, but are still noticeable. I think it is safe to say this is some long lasting stuff. The only other liquid liner that compares is Kat Von D’s tattoo liner. Both great products.

I only say I would buy this product again because I am obsessed with the Nars family. They have the best packaging and their products make me feel chic and sexy.
However, I find their stylo eyeliner very hard, as another reviewer said. The tip isn’t as flexible, and a little thin, so it’s harder to get a line that doesn’t look like a cardiogram. You also use more product having to fill in the gaps a thicker tip wouldn’t leave.
But more importantly, I feel the tip dries up much quicker during application than say, the CoverGirl LineExact liquid eyeliner I used time and time again before. I shouldn’t have to shake and re-freshen the stylo like three times just to line one set of eyes.
While I’ll probably replace the Nars Stylo Eyeliner when it’s finished, it’ll just be to keep up appearances regarding my beloved Nars collection. What I’ll really be using is my CoverGirl LineExact, for 1/4 of the price not to mention.

This is not worth the price in my opinion. It’s pigmented and stays on just like any liquid liner, but the felt tip is really hard and sharp so it feels horrible when I apply it to my lid. It’s almost scratchy and just not good. It’s way too expensive for what it is and the quality is poor.

I have tried many eyeliners and I was a faithful Clinque eyeliner user, and if i had to get the Clinque I would, but once I started wearing Nars Stylo it is great! One it does not come off, but if you have oily eyelids and you do not alow this to dry a for 10 seconds you will get it on your eyelid. Other than that it is a great product.
