This is one of those products that I don’t go anywhere without. When I travel, I take two with me. I use linked on black but also own hooked on espresso. This was recommended by some makeup artist for people with oily lids. Every pencil eyeliner I’ve ever tried transfers onto my hooded lids, smears all over the place. It’s been a nightmare trying to find the right one. I’ve used everything from Dior to Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, and Milani stay put eyeliner beats them all out. It’s super black, easy to put on your waterline, smudges easily but then sets. It’s perfect for smokey eyes. Can’t beat the price. I also have very sensitive eyes and this doesn’t bother them at all.

I have this in 01 Linked On Black. Sadly it’s the only colour my store carries (C’mon Stupidstore! You can do better!) cuz this is a great pencil! It glides on intensely and effortlessly without any pulling/tugging whatsoever! I use it exclusively along the upper lashline so I can’t say how it works on the waterline (I use different liners for that). This is a rather soft pencil with a deep black punch! That being said, it’s hard to get a thin precise line with it since it is so soft (and I hate waste so I won’t sharpen it till it’s down to a ‘nubbin’). I like a thicker line anyway and also go over it with a black or almost black shadow anyway to lock it in and smoke it out. Stays intense and locked in all day.

This actually does what it says it will do! I have been buying eyeliner to line my lower lashes for years hoping to get one that would last the day. Some of them were super expensive and promised to last 24 hr but none of them did. While watching one of my favorite makeup blogs, this was mentioned as a very good product. Since it was low cost, I decided to try it. Well, every store I went to was out because it it so popular. I finally found one left at a CVS pharmacy. I purchased Hooked on Espresso. I was so surprised when at the end of the day it was still on my eyes! I will be buying this again!

So I bought this eyeliner based on some really great reviews, and it is so not for me!
It is very soft and glides on, which seems like a good thing, except it is so soft that it makes a huge mess! I’m no stranger the eyeliner are use it every single day, and this was just a disaster. I tried it two days in a row with horrible results no matter what I did
First of all, it is so soft that no matter how much I sharpen it the line is very smudgy. I was able to use an eyeliner brush to smoke it out a bit and work with that, but then I needed to apply more eyeliner at the base of my lashes because it didn’t stay there when I smoked it out.
It went right through my eyelashes on to my contact lenses and lower eyelid, and no I did not put it on my waterline I don’t do that because of contact lenses, it literally seeped through my eyelashes. I had to change my contact lenses, and clean all the make up off the under eye area and start over.
It takes a long time to dry, the first day I used it it creased even after waiting a full minute ( are usually give it 30 seconds with other eyeliners, but after testing it on my hand I decided it needed a minute) before opening my eyes. The second day, I waited a full minute and then puffed some powder on it to help dry it and stay in place, it got all over the powder puff would spread it all over my eye area. So I had to wash and start over.
I have now tossed it and will go back to my tried-and-true Eyeliners.

SO GOOD! I really wasn`t expecting this to be that good! I love blue eyeliner, so I thought I`d order the blue one from Beautybay.com We don`t have Milani where I live, and I am pretty picky about my blue liners, but this blew my mind: it`s really pigmented, easy to apply, I smudged it with a liner brush and it was almost like working with a gel liner, it blended that easily with the brush and my wings looked sharp and neat. The wear time is also amazing: walked 10 km in 39C humid weather and while I was sweating, this liner stayed put and looked as fresh as when I applied it. This is even better than UD pencils! I love me a little UD liner, too, especially because I can get a grungy, smudgy smokey eye look with them (love Sabbath, love Perversion), but I can love me a little Milani, too. If Milani made more colors, I would definitely buy more.

Great eyeliner! Doesn’t get on my contacts and looks good on the waterline. Easy to apply.

I use the brown version and this eyeliner has worked it’s way into my daily makeup routine. The color is a rich cool toned brown. It’s creamy enough so that it glides on easily, but not too creamy that slides around. I tightline my upper lashline and the liner doesn’t get on my contact lenses! It doesn’t transfer onto my lower lashline throughout the day either. It does transfer a bit before it sets. Once this sets. It sets. If you want smokey liner do one eye at a time. I use eyedrops throughout the day and this lasts well. I haven’t had an issue sharpening it. This eyeliner has become a must have!

I love Urban Decay’s Perversion, but this performs equally at a much cheaper price.
I have lined one eye with this and another with the UD and cannot tell a difference in performance even after a 9-hour workday. If I didn’t know any better I’d say the same factory manufacturers both of them in a different label.
I let it sit for a minute or two and use eyeshadow over it on most days, then use it to tightline. Zero issues getting it off with an oil cleanser, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes at all.
I’ve stopped buying the UD because of this product.

I give this eyeliner an overall “4” rating because I think it is a good product, but missing a very necessary BLENDER on the other end of the pencil (hence a “3” rating for packaging!). This eyeliner goes on very defined, and I absolutely love how it wears and the saturation of color the “hooked on expresso” liner gives–but I need to blend it after application or it always looks unfinished and a bit sloppy…I see a lot of reviews online about complaints with sharpening this one, but I have never had trouble with mine. I don’t know how waterproof this really is either…I like some of Milani’s other products, which is why I bought this. It doesn’t seem too drastically different in wear from other liners I use that aren’t waterproof.

The black one is a $6.95 dupe for Urban Decay Perversion Eyeliner. So now I don’t need to buy that as it is $22. This is beautifully packaged with a gold metal top. Easy to sharpen if you have a decent sharpener. I use a NARS one. Definitely waterproof, glides on very creamy, sets and STAYS. I use this to tightline and in the waterline. Stays put all day and is hard to get off at night.
