I bought this product in Cool Mink for a pretty shimmery taupe shade that could easily travel (I didn’t want to throw in powder eyeshadow in my purse for fear it might break). While this swatches very pretty, it is really hard to apply to eyelids due to its sticky consistency. I also can still feel the stickiness on my eyelids after applying, which doesn’t go away with powder. If you want to use with a powder eyeshadow, be sure to apply powder eyeshadow before this eyeshadow, or else it will look horrible and not blend well. I didn’t think it lasted very long either (but the stickiness remains).
If you want to try and are purchasing in the US, Walgreens frequently has these on sale.

I have been trying to find good quality makeup at drugstores since I’ve noticed how much I was spending at sephora and the like! I found this pencil at a Target. I initially bought the “silver mink” color that is a light pearl beige color to try out and I was very surprised at how well it stayed on my eye. Like a stila eye liner, you put it on and let it set for a few seconds then it doesn’t rub off until you use a makeup remover. I wear my makeup for about 12-15 hours a day on average. I’m in an office most of those hours so the environment doesn’t mess with my makeup much. My eyes typically transfer makeup everywhere that isn’t waterproof, especially to the under eye area so I look like a raccoon by the end of the day ! I went back and bought a darker brown color and using both on my eyes, one as a shadow and the other as a liner and it is a great combo! The darker color takes longer to set so when I try to breeze through the makeup routine, I smudge it a bit while getting ready, usually due to the eyelash curler. The best part of this shadow stick is that there is a BUILT IN SHARPENER !!! At the bottom of the pencil, the end part snaps off and there’s a little plastic sharpener in there for you to use! Bonus!
