even when the product has been with me for few years, the product still applies smooth. no skipping.
problem is, swatching it on hand gives an impression of rich pigment but it doesnt translate to its actual performance.
it is actually weak, fades easily and I have to constantly retouch it.
I can use this for the waterline and lower lash line as base for a shadow to smoke out.
but i wouldn’t repurchase.

Looks great when swatched on your hand, but on your eyes it doesn’t apply evenly, and looks spotty. Terrible liner.

For me, this eyeliner had pretty weak staying power. When you draw it on your hand, it looks like it has a decent amount of pigment, and that’s why I bought it. However, around the eyes, and especially along the water line, the stuff was hardly noticeable. Moreover, the minor amount of pigment that managed to stay around my eyes, only lasted like an hour or two. But it’s cheap, so I guess it wasn’t a huge loss.
This liner was the last straw for trying any more Rimmel products.
Everything every other Rimmel product I’ve tried, seems to have similar problems with its ability to hold. All my brushes are MAC, and I use a primer, so I’m not really sure how it could be applied any better. Perhaps it has something to do with my skin. For the record, my skin tone is neutral, but leaning a bit on the cool side, and I have sensitive skin that can sometimes get slightly oily, and acne prone.

I bought this as a brow liner. For that it does its job and i love the brown colour. I have never tried it as a liner as I really only wear black eyeliner or the occassional green or purple…but never brown…i like it…i would buy it again

Bought it for $3.14 from Wal-Mart. I wouldn’t buy it again because it is not true to its name. It is not very rich brown around the eyes. When you swatch it on your hand it glides through giving a nice rich color. But around the eye are I need to apply a little pressure.I wanted to ask: “hey eyeliner what’s your problem with my eyes?” It lasts alright and did not smudge.
