A very pretty chocolate brown liner with a touch of shimmer, in a retractable pencil.
It’s creamy but firm enough to draw a line but iis easily smudged, and lasts all day.
On my skin (MAC C40) it’s less dark than my staple liner, Bobbi Brown powder shadow in Mahogany, but I really like it- it still gives me good definition and gives me a lighter, fresher look. The shimmer is very subtle, just enough to add a bit of sparkle to the eyes (but not literally!).
This liner is not something I would have thought of buying but I got mine free in this year’s Christmas gift set of my favourite mascara, Lash Power. I would purchase this when I run out. It’s a 4.5 from me… I’m now tempted to ťry some other shades in this range!

While I do love and appreciate this product, I can honestly say it’s literally the SAME as the maybelline unstoppable automatic eyeliner in espresso. The exact same. I will be sticking with maybelline because it’s cheaper and it’s a dupe for this. I love this product but I will not purchase it again unless maybelline goes out of business and quits making their espresso unstoppable eyeliner. I’ve recently upgraded every single one of my makeup products to high end brands/luxury brands and this is the one product (eyeliner) that I will stick with going with purchasing from maybelline/the drugstore. Eyeliner from maybelline and powder by revlon colorstay are the only drugstore products I use now.

Received as GWP w Clinique Matte Peony lipstick (I love Clinique GWP time!), but these 2 got overtime like PB&J I swear. The liner is an intense (hi, um no really!) NEUTRAL (yes! Thku for not pulling red & making me look like I was at my cat’s funeral) chocolate brown that’s turned in an immediate HG even thou I’ve possessed it a short time. If ur gonna buy a QuickLiner (QL) buy the Intense QLs their wear is superior, colors more vivid just better quality. I have intense black & intense sable but QLs are my absolute HG when it comes to pencils.
As my MU style is rather “conservative” (read: grandmother matronly mature) Clinique offers shades I appreciate. When I go to MAC I mean they got shades for ev1 (all genders, all ages all races), but I’m left smdh sometimes at what they come out with. I’m getting too old for MAC haha naw they got plenty of shades whatever it is your fancy & whim it’s just my whim isn’t blue lipstick w green eyeliner topped off w stacked falsies & glitter. Clinique caters to the colors I prefer (so does EL). Now what I’m *REALLY TOO OLD FOR* is Kylie cosmetics but u can’t help loving her colors. I have about 3/4 of everything she has out.
I should order more Clinique off Sephora.com coz I hate dealing w SAs & I’m disabled so I have to send my dad to the mall w a list. We took out a Dillards credit card just for cosmetics purchases (my father’s into Clinique men’s stuff & he insists on wearing SPF on his shaved head which is a good beauty tip he’s 77 & one might think he’s 40s! He’s well preserved lol he acts like 40s too nobody can believe he’s 77 I’ve had people mistake him for my husband lol but yeah my dad likes men’s happy, men’s shave bs & the sunscreen in the yellow tubes). Anyways I’m going to buy more Clinique (I’m still supporting the parent company when I buy MAC which is the Lauder empire). I love Clinique happy it is the prettiest fragrance.
Anyways back to QLs these will wear on your waterline/tightline & I am frankly surprised to head the allergic reactions sounds like some kind of contact dermatitis but I’ve got the world’s most sensitive eyes (I’m afraid to order from Aliexpress or wish fake bs coz I’m worried rat droppings, human feces, & arsenic might not only irrigate my eyes [if I’m fortunate] but worst case scenarios that stuff causes blindness or chemical burns to save $15-$20 [their stuff is like a dollar some of it], UM no way!!).
The only product I ever had issues w from Clinique was take the day off (TTDO) liquid & balm. It dissolved my eyelashes I was going bald! It was a big hassle to return liquid at Sephora, balm at Clinique Macy’s much less rigamarole & hoops to jump thru coz the male manager at that Sephora was PMSing he didn’t want to exchange it. I was so gracious in that I didn’t ask for cash back I asked for exchange for somem diff & I hope he quit or got fired coz he wasn’t very good effective at his job. He’s not destined cut out for a career in retail cosmetics. The QLs have never irritated my eyes thankfully.
I use MAC cleansing oil tranquil to remove the last traces its always good to go in with a soapy type cleanser after to remove residue (mainly to avoid sties & clogging pores if u let it sit there & it’s impossible to redo your MU with any remote traces of the oil cleanser it defeats its purpose so I go in with Clinique bar soap for oily skins & then Clinique liquid facial soap for oily skins but doing a double cleanse (well could this be construed as triple?) will make sure all of your eye like is removed & leave you w soft supple skin (if ur skin isn’t oily just inside a sudsy cleanser for your face type that doesn’t say “avoid getting in eyes” those kinds are no Bueno I just happen to have oily skin). I tried TTDO oil cleanser also & TTDO oil was terrible going about dissolving my lashes. Literally even thou touted safe for removing eye makeup TTDO in all forms must contain lye or something my lashes had to grow back no lie no joke serious as a heart attack avoid TTDO in all forms.
But this eyeliner is awesome ESP when you don’t want the harshness of black, want it to be neutral (so meaning any coloring can wear this coz it doesn’t pull red which when it pulls red can give off illusion of being high, sick, or crying which novice wants), I do believe it may be waterproof but don’t quote me on that but it behaves well & my eyes can be so teary, watery, rheumy like the rainforest 1 second alternating to the dry like Sahara at any given moment. So I need longevity & this eyeliner has it. It’s reasonably priced too & a liner can last in excess of 6 mos (I don’t use it daily I got a lot of other liners in rotation). Such a good eyeliner!!

I love this pencil. I’m a fan of the prior cream shapers which are being phased out for these. This color is a beautiful deep brown that emphasizes my dark brown eyes without the harshness of black. It is a true chocolate. I find it is soft enough to go on smoothly & creates a nice tight line. I smudge it a bit before it sets but then it doesn’t budge. It stays on longer than my Urban Decay liners, which were my prior favorite, and just as long as Bobbi Brown gel liner, with none of the mess/difficulty in application. I would repurchase and may even get myself a backup, which I rarely do. I may also look at some other colors.

Gorgeous colour for my green eyes. Unfortunately, the texture is far too hard and it tugs uncomfortably on my eyelids, the colour payoff is inconsistent and hard to blend. It does not stay either, even if I top with powder shadow (which kind of defeats the purpose anyway). A dud on which I wasted 20 euros.

Applies nicely because the formula is creamy, but the tip got squashed flat, making it impossible to draw a thin line, and it smears and migrates too easily. It’s especially problematic because I’m in my mid-50’s and the skin around my lower eyelid is not as tight and firm as it once was, so even products that advertise as “smudgeproof” don’t perform as well. It’s a nice shade of dark brown that makes my blue eyes pop, but I need a better formula.

Tugged at my eyelids when I applied it, no colour payoff. I had to apply three to four times to get the colour to show up… not good when the product is so hard that it actually hurts to apply it. I like the idea of a pencil that I don’t have to sharpen, but this isn’t it for me.

Got this to go with the dark chocolate eye liner on my water line, made my eyes so red and watery. They burned all day…..will not be using again. The burning started pretty much immediately, and the redness was all day long. My friend asked me if I had slept or was sick??? WHAT???

I love this eyeliner so much. The colour is close to black but it goes better for me than the intense black with the brownish, taupey and pinkish shade of eyeshadows ( I’m using all 3 UD Naked palettes).
Definitely will but it again.

Quickliner Intense Chocolate is my go-to liner. It’s a really nice dark brown – not reddish at all. It glides on smoothly and sets quickly.
I also love the following Intense shades: charcoal, midnight* (navy), ivy, plum and aubergine. My only complaint is about the midnight. I find the pencil dries out if I don’t use it for a week or two (yes, the cap is on completely). When this happens, I have to scrape off the topmost layer to get to the creamy stuff. It’s happened with 3 different pencils, bought over time at 3 different stores. This is the only shade I’ve had trouble with.
