Good eyeliner but the packaging is terrible, the lid refuses to stay on so the eyeliner dries out.

The lid is liable to spring off easily. Other than that it is a great little eyeliner. Liquid, but firm felt tip marker style that deposits color that dries to an opaque finish. The marker tip could be a little thinner but at the price point that’s more of a preference, not a complaint.
I’ve found this works equally as well on me as did KVD’s famous Trooper liner.

This liner is hands-down one of the best at the drugstore! I’m surprised at how little that this is talked about in the beauty community. The pigmentation is great and glides onto the eyes like a dream. You have to be very careful with this, or it will get all over your lid because of how pigmented it is. It dries down super matte and looks seamless when worn all day. The only drawback is if you put a lot in the inner corner, it will transfer and break down. I try and limit how much I put there for that reason. Other than that, this is absolutely worth the $3.99 price tag.

The eyeliner is amazing and I’ve purchased the same liner in brown multiple times, but every single time I find that the cap will pop off after I’ve ensured that it clicked shut. I initially thought I forgot to shut it or that I got a faulty product, but after purchasing I realized it was just poorly designed. Would start buying it again if they fixed the packaging.

Update: hadn’t even used it a second time and I found it with the cap popped off on its own and dried out -changed to a 1/5
I can see that others have had this issue…they need to fix the packaging!
found it a little hard to get a perfect straight line but it wasn’t too bad. It just took longer and I had hoped this would be faster to apply. It is definitely smudgeproof!! almost too much because it dries instantly and doesn’t budge so you can’t mess up!! So if your line isn’t perfect you have to make it thicker because you can’t fix it. I think I will stick to gel liner because it is more forgiving – if you mess up you can fix it before it dries. But if you are a pro at straight lines then this is great for you and it will NOT move! That’s why I give it a 4/5 because it does exactly what it is supposed to do!

I read many reviews before I bought this saying the the cap would not stay on. Mine snapped on tightly at first. Then after less than a week, I went into my bathroom and found the cap in the sink. It literally shot off the pen after I put it back on, like a champagne cork exploding out of a bottle!
It’s totally unusable. I even tried taping the cap in place and it still managed to pop off.
I actually liked the eyeliner the few times I was able to use it. I purchased the brown, and it was a nice rich color. It glided on pretty easily and lasted.
If the cap would just stay on I would have given it 4 stars.

Holy cow this liner is amazing! I have it in black and brown. Application is easy and smooth. Great for newbies to liner. I love that the tip is thin, as it can be applied thinly or built up to be thicker of you like. It dries down quickly which is great. No smudging! The black is sooo black, and the brown is beautiful. And the $3 price tag pretty much wraps it up for me. Finally. A great liner that isn’t $18 bucks or more. Holy frail for sure. My new fave.

Great liner, but with horrible packaging! If I hadn’t just thrown out my second pro-line marker in a month for prematurely drying out on me because the cap popped off in my makeup bag I probably would have given this product more stars. It draws crisp, thin lines, is very pigmented and lasts all day long without smearing, flaking or smudging! When I first bought it, I was in love. It performed just as well as high end marker style liners, but only cost $3.99! Sure the dark brown shade was a little darker than my preference, but for the price, I didn’t care. But then after two weeks of use, I reached into my bag one morning and found my eyeliner floating around my bag without a cap and completely dried up. I was bummed, but thought it was just a fluke so I repurchased a second one. This time stored the liner in a separate part of my bag where I thought it’d be less likely to get bumped around. Yet 10 days later, it happened again! The problem seems to be the spring inside the cap along with how easily the cap cracks. When the cap is clicked completely shut, the spring is tense against the rim of marker, ready to forcibly expel the marker the moment the cap gets squeezed or knocked in the right place. And if the cap cracks, even the tiniest bit, the cap will no longer have the strength to resist the spring which means it will become impossible to click closed. This makes it seem practically inevitable that the cap will fail and dry out the marker long before the end of its “natural life.”
So I’m going back to my more expensive markers. They may cost more at the time of purchase, but I’m likely to be saving money by paying more upfront than I would if I paid $4 for a new marker every time the faulty packaging rendered my eyeliner unusable.

This is the answer to my eye liner pen prayers! It can draw a very fine line quite close to my lashes with minimal effort. This stuff really stays put, too! I like to use coconut oil to remove mine because it’s all natural and easily breaks down the product so I can tissue off everything at the end of the day. It comes in black and brown, in case you’re interested in the color options.I want to make sure to mention that the pen tip is firm, but it’s not hard and uncomfortable on the eye area. It just makes for fantastic precision upon application.

Update 09/2018:
**It’s been about a year since I reviewed this, and I keep repurchasing it. I wanted to update because I haven’t had the problem of the tube coming apart since the one I was using when I first reviewed it, so that’s great.
Also, I just swiped this on the back of my hand to compare it to another liner with a similar felt tip. Both of them gave similar results as far as line thickness and not being completely matte but also not really shiny, but this one resists washing off way longer than the other one. I’ve washed my hands three times and there are still some black spots from the lines. (A cotton pad with some micellar water or other makeup remover will take it off pretty easily, but I did want to mention that it seems to be fairly water resistant. Not waterproof, but probably fine if you get caught in the rain briefly or tear up a little.)**
Holy grail liner! I’ve been using this stuff for over a year (I think I’m on my 5th liner now) and I absolutely love this stuff. I’ve been looking for a good liquid liner for over 10 years, and this is the first one I’ve ever even finished, so it’s a big deal that I’ve repurchased this not only once but many times. Because of this liner, I can finally do wings (when I have the time/feel like doing it).
Pros:
-Doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes
-The felt tip is the perfect size (not too thick or thin of a line, so it’s easy to customize the look I want)
-The perfect amount of product comes out (no running, streaking, or patchiness)
-It’s a nice black, not too shiny and not gray, but I always set my liner with powder shadow to soften it and help fill in between my lashes
-It’s so cheap
-Removal isn’t too bad, and is the best I’ve experienced with liquid liners (I do have to take a few extra seconds to make sure it comes off right at my lashes, but it only adds about 30 additional seconds to makeup removal)
-It dries really fast, which I love because I’m usually applying it in a hurry
-The tip is pretty precise (it could probably be better, but it’s not bad at all)
Cons:
-I’ve only seen it in black and I would love to have other options
-The packaging is cheap, which is no surprise (I’ve had two come apart so the piece with the liner and the cap were still connected, but the outer body came off, but it didn’t happen with every use and didn’t bother me much)
I’ll probably continue buying this until they discontinue it or make a major change because I’m a little obsessed. I wish I’d had this liner back in high school because it would have been a life saver.
(Bonus pro: I was a cracked porcelain doll for Halloween last year and used this as the outline and base for the cracks and it worked awesome for that, too!)
