Am I the only one that hatd this. It dries and crackles. I struggle to get it to go smooth. I fekt like the first three times or so it worked then it started to crackle dry and I always cap it too.

This is a good felt tip liner. I have it in black and I find the tone of black to my liking. It’s pitch black and dries down that way – doesn’t gray or tone down in color over the day. The finish is slightly shiny but not as glossy as Maybelline liquid liner. It also wear off in bits. I’ve previously tried MAC felt tip liner. I couldn’t make it work for me the ink was runny and thin and I tried to apply in many ways – keeping the sides of the felt tip along the lash line and also using the tip. Both did not deliver the color. However, the UD one is great when it comes to pigmentation and the felt tip. There is an even distribution of opaque pigment if you use it either way. The liquid is not runny – opaque and thicker than normal liquid liners and it dries in a minute or less.
Felt tip:
I wanted to get a felt tip because I thought back then that it would help me get a good winger eyeliner as felt tips are marketed as helping with winged eye. I have since given my MAC felt tip liner to my sister and she seems to make it work. So, I cannot remember if MAC was a felt tip or a brush tip. UD’s is felt tip not brush tip – if that makes sense. So the tip is firmer and does not bend like a brush. I like it this way firmer without much give. It draws thin lines and I think you can do good wing too. I tried a few times and I feel it’s OK for it. I feel a stiff liner brush and gel eyeliner easier for that.
Wear:
Wears well if untouched but wears off if you keep rubbing the eye. I do and it wears off in the inner corners slightly. My eyes are watery too. But doesn’t come off in strips or flakes or in a smudgy sort of way. Wears off powdery and does not stay in the corners creating a black mess.
Pros
– easy to use for a quick liner
– felt tip delivers opaque thin lines
– Dark shade of black and stays that way. Doesn’t turn gray
– felt tip is intact and didn’t dry out yet. I’ve used intermittently (once a week) after I opened for about 8 months now.
Not so much a con but,
– It wears off slightly in the corners. That’s because I rub my eyes a lot when I wear contacts and I tend to get watery when I do.

This eyeliner is not only true to its waterproof claim, it is also smudge proof! My eyeliner will not budge at all with this product and that’s what I love about it 🙂
However, the applicator, being a fine-point felt tip type, is a little hard for non-experienced eyeliner users to draw! A mistake can be easily made with this applicator as compared to a pen tip kind of liner, which allows for more control.
Overall, an eyeliner with superb quality 🙂 Am on my second one already and my wing looks on fleeeeeek

My current HG liquid liner! This was actually an accidental purchase; I bought a set with the liner and mascara from UD and bought it solely for the mascara. The mascara ended up being a-okay and the liner on the other hand, amazing!
Generally, I am not a big fan of felt tip liners, as I find them hard to get a non-leaky line. This one however, is sooo easy to use, stays on all day (despite my very watery eyes), is superblack and smooth!
Just bought my second one today and will continue to do so 🙂

As much as I love MAC’s Fluidline, I find that it dries out a bit too fast and beforeI can finish a pot it’s already cracking and I have to throw it out. Plus, liquid lends itself to creating a more graphic line – a pen being the most portable option.
What I love about this formula is how densely pigmented it is. It’s also smooth, and the pen makes application easy. I can create a quick, easy cat eye in seconds.
Plus, once applied the formula stays put. It doesn’t fade or smudge. I painted a stripe on my hand while wandering around Sephora, and I deliberately rubbed the skin relatively hard and it stayed put.
My only gripe is the material that makes up the applicator. It has a tendency to ball up and end up having to pluck them off of the tip everyone in a while.
*Edit*
This has been sitting in the bottom of my makeup bag for a while. The major problem that I have with this – and other Urban Decay liquid eyeliners that I’ve tried – is the sensation of the formula on the lids. It has a tendency to feel heavy, sticky, and it does tend to ball up/crumble after a couple of hours of wear.
Once the pen starts getting low on product, it seems that it becomes a lot more difficult to get a precise application. I find that it skips and jumps quite a bit upon application, especially in the hard-to-reach areas.
Did I enjoy it while I had it? Yes. Would I repurchase again? Probably not.

My favorite liquid liner at the moment and that’s saying a lot. I wear a lot of shimmery n glittery eyeshadow and need a liquid liner that will stay black and also a liner that won’t flake or smudge. ESP because I have very watery eyes and I sweat a lot. This stuff really IS waterproof and I love it. It’s so black and intense, super smooth and pigmented and it doesn’t smudge or come off when my eyes get hella watery. Thank God this it is! This blows the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner out of the water (i do like the precision of the Tattoo Liner) but it didn’t stay on my eyes at all. It wasn’t opaque enough and if smudged off at the slightest sign of moisture. I also like this liner better than my Stila which was my Holy Grail. That’s sayin a lot.

This liner is the deepest, smoothest black liquid liner I’ve ever used. It has an incredibly sharp felt-tip to it, which doesn’t skip or bleed! This liner lasted through the Phoenix monsoon and dust storm earlier this month! I think $22 is a bit much, so I probably won’t buy it again, but I’m definitely enjoying it while I have it, and will recommend it to friends.
