I usually buy high end eye pencils but I’m on a budget at the moment and decided to try some drug store varieties. I like the dark chocolate brown shade and how it made my blue eyes pop (yet isn’t as harsh as black would be on a mature, fair-skinned blonde). However, after road-testing for a month I’ve decided to toss it. The product name says “long wearing” but I found it smudged and migrated, particularly on my lower eyelids, so badly that before the end of the work day I looked like a trash panda. The formula is soft and sticky and hard to sharpen without making a mess and losing product. Then it goes on so thick and heavy I’d have to use multiple cotton swabs to clean up the mess around my eyes. Will not be repurchasing.

I got this eyeliner in a holiday gift set that came with other Wet n Wild products. This is an eyeliner pencil that has other shades, and I had the brown one in “Wooden You Know”. It is a very pigmented eyeliner and can be used on the upper lash line and in the water line. I tried to smudge it out on the upper lashline and it doesn’t blend that well. It can be very stiff, depending on how much you put on the eye. It’s a pretty good eyeliner for the price.
