I really love NYX eyeliners, they come in beautiful colors, last quite well, and are so cheap. I bought the Rose Gold shade, and I think it’s a very good Rose Gold shade. I am very fair with warm/yellow undertones (I’m Asian), so maybe that’s why the golden aspect of the shade shows up on me and not on others. So for me, the color is the perfect balance of pink, gold, warmth, and coolness. I like to use this on the inner corner of my eyes, both upper and lower lash lines. I do have to apply two coats, but the color lasts well and I’ve no adverse reactions with my skin or eyes (I wear contact lenses). I have also used it like a shadow on the inner corner of my lid. The first time I layered too much on to make it opaque and it had a bit of a scaly texture, the second time I put less on and it didn’t get scaly, but it didn’t last as well. So, if I want a Rose Gold metallic shadow on my lids I now use Stila Shimmer and Glow in Kitten. Still, I will repurchase this liner when I run out.

Like the previous reviewer, I got this in the shade Rose Gold. It is more of a champagne shimmer color, but it is pretty nonetheless. I don’t really like this as a liner on my upper lid, but it is great as a lower lash line liner, an inner rim liner, or an inner corner highlight. It wears fairly well, and the color of the tip is pretty much exactly what I get on the skin. It isn’t a must-have by any means, but I will continue to use it as I like the brightening effect and the shimmer that it brings to my eye looks.

I tried this liner in Rose Gold. Short review, it was mostly glitter and little pigment. It had a silvery-pink shade to the glitter and was visible, but it showed up more as sparkle than color. The formula was creamy enough to glide on smoothly without tugging, but not so creamy that it was overly smudgy. The packaging looks sleek, but the cap kept popping off of mine and instead of being a twist-up, as you often see with creamier liners, it’s a plastic pencil casing that has to be sharpened. Those are usually recipe for disaster and this one is no different – it can ruin the product if you don’t sharpen it exactly right, and render whatever remains unusable. Cost: $8.
I ended up returning it. I wanted a rose gold liner with some depth, and this is more like a highlight. I prefer the NYX Jumbo pencil ($4) in Yogurt to this.
