Manhattan has been turning up regularly in Beauty boxes here in the past year or so. I’ve had a couple of these Kohl Kajal pencils and they have go on soft and last well. Average pigmentation. Good range of colors. I like how the color name is clearly written on the tube. And, both the lid and bottom of the liner match exactly the color inside, making quick selection a breeze no matter which way you store it.
Manhattan is a German brand, the pencils say “New York. Paris. Mainz. Made in Brazil”. I don’t know how much the regular retail is but the beauty box claimed NZ $20 (around $14 US). The pencils seem nice but I would not repurchase. They contain Palm Oil extract…not comfortable with how farming this seems to be involved in rainforest destruction 🙁 They don’t sell anywhere I know plus I am sensitive to a couple of the ingredients (Tocopherol and Castor Oil).
