Pupa Milano, an Italian brand that was really popular in the 90`s, is sadly losing ground to other flashier, more hyped brands, which is a real pity because they have some really great products. I love their mascara Vamp, their lipsticks, and they have the most beautiful and versatile colors for eyeliners. I have just bought a couple of these Made to Last Definition Eyes which have changed since the picture that is featured here. They are thinner, have lost the sponge end in favor of a sharpener, and were upgraded as I haven`t experienced any of the problems mentioned by the previous reviewer. I suffer from sensitive eyes and a blocked tear duct in my left eye, which means nothing lasts on my eyes except the most heavy duty waterproof cosmetics. So far, only the Marc Jacobs eyeliners, Lancome Hypnose mascaras (waterproof), the Pupa Vamp mascara (waterproof), and these Pupa eyeliners have made the cut. Everything else, smudge city. The color is nice and vibrant, especially for the nude browns I have bought for an everyday no-makeup makeup look. The bright teal and turquoise blue in the same line do need a little help with primer to maintain their vibrancy as the day wears one, this is true. But as far as the nude liners, which are my daily go to`s, I am really happy and only regret not buying more.

Bit disappointed of an eyeliner that’s price wise on the higher end. Also, just expected more from Pupa in general. The liner had broken down inside the packaging for one, the application is super dry and difficult to control, and the end with the smudge sponge also had come off after a few weeks in my makeup bag. When applied above eyeshadow, the pigmentation is not good enough. No..
Pro:
– comes with a smudge sponge
Con:
– doesn’t live up to expectations of a higher end brand
– not cruelty free
– pen broke off
– smudge sponge applicator broke off
– difficult application
