I guess I’m in the minority here because unlike other reviewers, I didn’t find this eye pencil to be creamy or to go on smoothly – it’s hard and waxy, and I have to press down harder than I’d like in order to apply it (maybe I just got a bad batch?). Once on, it does last a long time without smudging. However, because of the application issues, I won’t repurchase.

This is a beautifully creamy pencil with a saturated black color. I used it several times on my waterline, but unfortunately, it gives me a burning sensation for quite some time and also doesn´t last too well.

Looks like I am in the minority here but I love this eye pencil. It goes on smooth and make a nice line. Does not smudge much on me which is a rarity. And the color is great.
Pretty pricey and you have to sharpen repeatedly but I’ve purchased over and over again

really dissapointed…i use a lot of bobbi brown’s products and this one just didnt work for me.it smudges almost immediately even with eye primer and it is really soft so the line cannot be precice.please notice that i dont have oily eyelides and i have tried it in winter time.

These pencils come in a range of nice shades and have good intensity pigment – and Jet is no exception, t’s a deep true black – but I am not a fan of the way they apply. They go on rather waxy and it is difficult to achieve a nice clean line. Also, the longevity leaves something to be desired, they did smudge on me after only a few hours. At that price point, I would hope for better performance. No rebuy.

I bought this in the shade ‘Jet’ which is the darkest black in the range. The formula is smooth and easily glides on the eyes. This is the best thing about this pencil – you can do one swipe and you get the intense colour and it does not tug at your skin. Makes for easy application. The color fades very slightly after 8 -9 hrs. It is just that the line is not as dark as before – does not fade by smudging. Also, if you are looking at smudging your line for a soft diffused eyeliner finish, don’t go for this one. I tried smudging this one with a Hakuhodo b5511 and no product remained on my eye. This formula either does not smudge to a soft finish or sets too quickly. I use this as my everyday office eyeliner. Extremely easy to apply and good formula that glides on easily.
Finish: It gives a velvety matte finish which I find very similar to the finish from a gel eyeliner. I find that the finish of an eyeliner makes a difference to me. For instance, I do not like the glossy finish of Maybelline liquid eyeliner. It’s a great eyeliner nevertheless but I don’t prefer that look for me anymore. I love the finish of Maybelline Studio Drama Gel Eyeliner. I would say that this pencil has a similar gel liner finish. It looks very polished.
Shade: Like most Indian women, I began my makeup journey with a black kohl pencil and a liquid eyeliner back in high school. It is my staple from then to now. I’m 30 now and I’ve gone through a lot of black liners. To find the right black is very difficult for me. I have tried MAC smolder and feline and I didn’t like any of the black offerings from MAC. I found smolder greenish and other colors grayish or at least seem to lose intensity over wear and it didn’t go well with my hair color or eye color. If you are in a similar situation, try the BB Jet. This is my perfect black and I will purchase it as long as they make it as this is a superbly made true black. Nothing compares for me.

This is a review for the latest long wear pencil. This is not long wear and after 2 hours smudged badly. With these things, its either a zero or a five rating, this is closer to zero. If its not smudge proof then the product has not sufficiently met its purpose and is deemed useless. Pls try before you buy. I prefer the clinique pencils in the wind up, they are much better in terms of performance. This was not a pretty sight and I felt the average drugstore pencil is better.

Awesome awesome awesome! 6:45 am applied. 9:10 pm, still looked like applied at 6:45 am. Hands down the best pencil I have ever bought. I was a little taken aback when I realized it was $25.00 (After I paid for my purchases,) but I’m glad I didn’t ask before I purchased because more than likely I would have passed.
