They still have this, hadn’t seen it for ages, it was my only liner since a teen before I realized my eyes were sensitive to the brush applicator… not every tube had an evenly cut brush. Quality control?
If that happens, it just needs to be held a particular way (side and diagonally not straight on) throughout application…when one is in a rush that’s not always on one’s mind.
Besides, most things hurt my eyes.
They’ve always been extra sensitive, that’s why I went through so many liners trying to find one that was tolerated.
The formula itself is good. I think it’s better than L’oreal’s.. Nyc’s brush is better than the brush version of L’oreal too. It works excellently all in all as most cheap cosmetics seem to do now. It doesn’t bleed or smudge or have an odd finish, does not gunk on lashes, brush is sometimes poky (varies) but one can work around that considering the price. If you like a simple thin line this is great. I do run out of this faster than other brands so I can’t figure out how that works out for value of money but still I would recommend this to anybody on a budget. Rimmel too.

This is my most favorite liquid eyeliner, and I’ve tried them all. Some people prefer the hard felt-tip liners, but this is soft like a paintbrush which is much easier for me. It’s easier for me to control and be very precise with it. The liner is very pigmented and it lasts all day (and often into the next, oops) without a primer on my oily lids. It never fades, flakes, smudges… I love how lightweight it feels on the eyes – some liners you can really feel, but I always forget I even have this on. ZERO irritation! I’ve cried while wearing it too, and while my mascara was everywhere, this stayed perfect. The only thing I don’t like about it is how the finish is slightly shiny, I prefer a matte look, but that’s easy enough to achieve with some black eyeshadow over the top. I really hope this is always available at this very affordable price and they never change the formula.

My favourite liquid eyeliner!! It stays put on my oily eyelids without smudging, which is a feat. And crazy cheap. The wand is very thin and flexible, I’d say almost too much, so you have to apply with a very light hand. The consistency is like thin ink, a little watery, and dries quickly with a matte finish. It is not waterproof, so I only have to worry about tearing up/crying, ha.

Im really surprised by this eyeliner,I think is high end quality. It doesnt fade, move,or smudge, lasts forever. Ive gone to bed with my makeup on,when I wake up the next day all my makeup is gone except for the eyeliner, its still there intact.
The wand is a little to long but I can make it work. Too sad their discontiuning it

I’m surprised this eyeliner doesn’t have a 5! The brush is the thinnest I’ve ever seen, and the formula is super thin but super black, so it glides really easily. You don’t find yourself pulling at your eye. The brush doesn’t get dry, it stays wet for a long time. I recommend this over stila stay all day, and Kat von d trooper. You just can’t beat the price and how thin the brush is and how black the liner is. It stays all day on my eyes without fading, and dries a matte black. Just try it, for the price you have nothing to lose!

I’ve been using this eyeliner since I was 15 years old and I LOVE IT!!! This is a pretty good liquid eyeliner for those who are trying to get used to using liquid. Basic standard packaging, doesn’t leak out, and simple to use.
Goes on pretty smooth with a matte finish. Not as pointy as some other liquid liners, but can get that nice pointy end for cat-liner once you’re a pro as using it. Stays on all day and doesn’t move. I used this liner while I was playing softball. So I would put it on around 6-7 AM and wouldn’t take it off til around 10-midnight. Admittedly, the inner corners of my eyes would come off, either from sweat or me accidentally wiping sweat off! Other than that, it stayed on! I’m not saying it’s going to look the best, but it’s not that bad!
Now, if your eyes tend to get watery while putting on eye makeup, this liner is NOT for you! It will smudge while still trying to set and could turn into a big mess! It’s not a fast-setting liner!
This eyeliner isn’t waterproof and doesn’t claim to be! However, for me, it wouldn’t come off in the water(or sweating!) unless I wiped my eyes! So I think, as long as you don’t touch your eyes, this liner could possibly stay on in water. That’ll have to be something for you to test out!
All in all, this liner isn’t the best, but it isn’t bad! Like I said, I love this liner and I’ve learned to work with it simply because I don’t wanna spend more than $3 on liquid eyeliner(except for NYX’s vinyl liquid liner, but that’s a review on it’s on!). I say give this liner a try if you’re willing!

YES YES YES YES
I’ve been an eye-liner addict since I was thirteen, and had given up on drug store eye-liners after intense colour bleeding/flaking/crappy pigmentation. BUT THIS SWEET GOOSE HAS RECTIFIED THAT.
Super black, a flawless matte finish, it doesn’t bleed or feather on application. The small brush applicator isn’t the best, and after using high end felt-tip liners for so long, I have minor difficulties controlling the brush strokes. Nothing a good concealer and practice can’t fix.
Super cheap and super WONDROUS. Will repurchase and will probably purchase fifteen hundred to put in my casket upon my death so I can go to heaven a happy gal. YES

The DHC Liquid Liner is a pretty decent brush tipped black liner. The brush is very fine and precise, so it is especially great for those who wish to make small precise wings. It is very easy to apply and thus would work well for those who are beginners with liquid liner. The pigmentation is good, you don’t really need to build it up for an opaque finish. The price is around 15-18 €, which I find to be fair for a mid range eye pen.
I just wish the lasting power were a bit better as well as waterproof… It does not smear everywhere and wears off quite nicely, but if you have watery eyes/oily eyelids, this may not be the liner for you. I do think it is a good liner and could imagine myself repurchasing it, because I really enjoyed the flexible tip. Also it may not suit those who like extremely intense eyeliner; despite its opaqueness, there are blacker liners.
Overall good quality product! However, it does not beat my HG Urban Decay Perversion Eye Pen.

I could not be more pumped about this eyeliner.
I have been coveting a super-thin liquid liner look (to the point where I have stopped to ask for trade secrets if I see it perfectly executed in public). It has been impossible to achieve with all my fave liquid liners. I’ve tried so many (Stila, Kat von D, Lorac, MAC, and dozens of drugstore) and have been using Stila the most but that super thin + defined line still eluded me. (Also, it’s never fully matte.) Anyway, I came across a glowing review for this DHC liquid liner, pulled the trigger, and it is amazing. A nice inky matte black, super smooth application, plus a fine brush tip that basically makes drawing that perfect thick OR thin line very easy. It isn’t as bulletproof as the Stila, but it wears beautifully all day with primer (a little inner corner fading, but I just make sure to prime well). I’ve even used it on my lower lash line without looking like an extra from the Craft. TRY IT.
It was $20 on dermstore but I got it for $17 plus free shipping because it was my first time ordering. Packaging is sleek and the cap has a sort of double-securing situation that I assume helps to keep it from drying out.

I think the old reviews for this eyeliner are for an older edition and that it has since been revised. I bought this a few months ago to use at the gym – where I didn’t want to futz with a separate brush, dab of water, and mineral eyeliner. It’s really a great liquid eyeliner. It is super black and the tip comes to a fine point. But, as the other (more recent) reviewer noted, the tip is a brush which I think is easier to use. The older reviews say the look is subtle but I think this is a newer product and it’s a true black liquid liner that you can make very thin or bold as you like. Personally, I wasn’t looking for a black liquid liner per se when I bought this; who am I? Adele? So for an everyday look that I apply after a workout I just smudge the liquid around with a liner brush and it becomes a much less precise line.
goofyHeron9
I purchased the DHC Liquid Eyeliner EX in black. It is my favorite of the pen liners and I have tried Stila, Kat Von D, Marc Jacobs, and a slew of drugstore liner pens. I love the DHC because of the inky black color (with a touch of shine–it is not matte), the ease of application, and ease of removal. I love that it stays put until you take it off. It is a brush-tip, not a felt-tip, which is my preference. I can get extremely precise just along the lashline for a natural look or do a big dramatic wing. The perfect amount of product comes out, it doesn’t glob and also isn’t dry in a way where you have to go over the line a few times. I am almost out of my first one and am ordering another soon. LOVE it!
solidPaella8
Japanese brands often go for a extremely natural look. If you read Japanese beauty magazines, they teach girls how to have an extremely natural make up. DHC is one of the brands that help you with a make up that does not even seem that you have one!
I bought a brown eye liner and it is lighter than the other browns that I used. It is perfectly precise and natural.
If you are looking for a exaggerated makeup look (those look that says “yes I have a make up and really dark eyeliner”) this is not what I recommend
gleefulClam4
This is the first DHC product I’ve used that I haven’t liked. I got it in brown and the color is just way too light. If you are looking for a liquid eyeliner with an extremely natural look then this is the eyeliner for you, but if I’m going to use eyeliner than I want it to at least show up! I would not buy this again and I’m too lazy to send it back to DHC.
worldlyLard3
After years of using wear-off crayon eyeliners, I took the chance and ordered the DHC Liquid Eyeliner in brown. It is a bit of a darker brown than I would normally like, but it goes on so smoothly and flawlessly, I can deal with the color. The fine felt tip makes it extremely friendly for shaky eye liners like myself. Also, I actually had to use eye makeup remover to take it off which is unheard of for me. I am very oily and I can usually just wash other eyeliners off when I wash my face since they’ve already mostly worn off anyway! This is a new keeper for me…
gleefulHare3
This is a review in 2019 for the MK Liquid Eye Liner Pen. The formula is not Black enough for me and I have to line 2 or 3 times over the same lid for the effect I want, that said the felt-tip pen is a breeze to apply and the formula does not smear or migrate. Retails for $16 but I get mine at a discount.
lazyBustard9
I think the formula is ok. I think its the brush that isn’t good, at all. I always have to apply at least 3 times on one eyelid since it can’t make a one stroke line. The pencil liners are way better if you want to buy eyeliner from Mary Kay. If you want a good inexpensive liquid eyeliner, Revlon is your friend.
lyingIcecream8
I’ve been reading bad reviews on this product and I’m over here thinking like what are they talking about?! I love this liquid eyeliner! It is absolutely my favorite. It’s the only liquid eyeliner that works for me. It doesnt smudge, long lasting & drys instantly! I’ve tried so many other products like sephora, Mac, Tarte cosmetics & all of them smudge away & don’t last. It sucks that they’re not going to sell these anymore! 🙁
superiorMacaw7
This was my first time using liquid eyeliner, and can I just say this has to be the worst eyeliner, since I won’t believe that all liquid eyeliners are this horrible! The first week I had it, it was okay, but soon it started to dry out, clump, and was virtually impossible to apply! It crumbles off during the day, especially on the sides of my eyes where the flair is. I can never get enough on the brush, and then I have too much on the brush. It smears easily. If any tiny bit of moisture or water touches it, it’s gone, just goes right off. This is just a horrible product, and is expensive, I guess since it’s Mary Kay. I honestly think all their products are crap that hide behind the Mary Kay name so people will buy them. Their foundation is equally as horrible. Don’t buy this, find another cheaper brand that actually works so you don’t spend so much on crap.
grumpyOrange3
Impossible to apply. Like what the others said, the applicator is utterly useless. The line has gaps once I’m finished, not enough product gets on the applicator in order to fully complete one upper eyelid. Would never buy again, threw it out almost immediately.
The only good thing I have to say abut this product is the packaging looks sleek and professional but that has very little importance if the product won’t apply in the slightest. Would have given it zero stars if I could have.
dreadfulMussel6
I like this eyeliner however I am more of a cream/gel eyeliner person, so I will only be using this until it runs out. It goes on very black and makes nice smooth lines. However, if too much is applied it tugs my eyelids and almost looks wrinkled, but I have experienced this with other liquid eyeliners as well. Also I usually like my eyeliner very thick so if you like a thinner line than this is probably not for you.
enragedLollies1
This stuff is great. It’s truly black…no shimmer or glitter, very rich pigment. Tear resistant, no flaking or smudging! I slept in it (i know, so bad!) and woke up to 99% perfect liner…my eyes are super sticky/weepy in the mornings so that’s the only reason they weren’t as perfect as when i passed out.
This dries in the perfect amount of time…enough time to use a qtip and clean up lines if needed, quick enough not to smudge. It can cake/crack a little as most liquid eyeliners do if you apply too much, but even then I added more into the tiny crack I saw and suffered no flaking.
This product really amazed me, b/c I used no primer and it still really performed. My eyelids are oily and slightly double lidded (mixed asian), so I always struggle with transfer and smudging sometimes even with primer…but not with this stuff. I’ve had it in my bag for ages…only used it a couple of times before…it’s now my HG liner. Wish it came in brown and other colors, too.
Love love love. I’d give it a 5, but I could really FEEL it…super heavy feeling, but I did line all the way around my eyes, which I never do. (Only reinforces the fact that it’s staying power is awesome, b/c my lower lid is naturally “puffy” which equals instant smudges, sliding, and transfer…hence never lining the lower) Maybe I’ll up this to 5 if it doesn’t feel as bad when only on the top lid.
*be careful not to get this on your lashes or u will get flakes off of those. otherwwise still perfect, and doesn’t feel heavy on only the top lid!

This is one of the best liquid liners on the market. I hate listing all the ones I HAvE tried but suffice to say I have ASd and makeup is my ‘special interest’ (a patronizing way of saying passion or hobby because it’s autism they have to try and pathologise it a bit eh) – most liquid liners from brands of every price and reputation.
The main thing with Vasanti’s excellent offering is preference- the brush might not be something you like or it may be ideal. It’s springy not flimsy and it is not a nub so control.. it takes a couple of tries to adapt your touch but that is all. The non gloppy non smudgy (non-Guerlain) formula and brush and effect have no fault. No issues with my sensitive eyes. This gives me a beautiful clean line and to make it heavy is also no problem. One of the quickest no-fuss ones out there. The dark grey tube looks functional and elegant too. I don’t know how long I’ve had it for but it hasn’t caused any issues over time. Today I used this then once it dried fully (which is a v short time) I patted on and smudged out a little bit of black shadow on the lid. On the lower lashline I used Dior Minimalism for a thin edge then slightly dabbed on a tiny bit of black and blended it slightly. Simple impactful and looks good with red lips. Such sinple looks don’t work without a good liquid eyeliner and vasanti is not just good. It’s superb!

PROS
– More natural ingredients compared to most other brands
– Decent price
CONS
– Staying power was horrible. Ended up with raccoon eyes. I’ve experienced that from mascara, but rarely from eyeliner.
– When you go to take this off at night with a makeup remover, it gets ALL OVER your face so you end up having to remove it not only from your eyes, but your entire face. It’s an absolute hassle to take off.

– Returned
– Wont repurchase
– Dont recommend

I bought this against my better judgement even though I read a negative review on this that made me question my purchase. I bought this because I wanted a really dark black eyeliner that applies smoothly and that is really hard to find in the natural/green beauty world. A lot of natural liquid eyeliners I’ve tried have a goopy formula (100% pure) that makes it so hard to get an even line because of its thicker formula. I prefer a liquidy formula, which seems to be hard to find in the natural world for some reason. I tried this on my hands at Whole Foods and loved the texture so I had to try it for myself. This goes on dark, perfectly even, and isn’t goopy like some natural brands. It also has pretty decent lasting power considering it’s not waterproof. When I used conventional makeup, I always used waterproof because I hated smudging under my eyes. I’m not saying this is smudge proof, but it depends on what skincare I have used for the day. For instance, it seems this smudges more when I use a silicone based sunscreen around my eyes. Strangely, this won’t smudge if I just use oil as a moisturizer. Although I do love how pigmented this is and the fact that it applies evenly, my eyes get irritated every time I use this. I also noticed a tiny bump near the tear duct of my eye after I wore this one time (stye?). There was a previous reviewer that mentioned she gets styes in her eyes when she wears this, but I don’t see her review anymore, not sure if it got deleted? That should’ve warned me not to buy this, but I did anyways. I figured it won’t happen to me, lol. She mentioned it could be because of the lack of preservatives, which sounds appealing, but when your talking about something that goes on your eyes, it might not be the best idea.

I got “BLACK PEARL”, which is in fact dark greenish grey. Black liquid liners are too strong, but this one looks more natural. However, with time, it does smudge/smear.
boastfulDoves1
Eh, I frequently buy natural/organic products and this was my first attempt at a natural liquid eyeliner. I am somewhat disappointed as I looked like a raccoon at mid day (it was fairly hot out). I will give it one more try but I do not think I would buy it again. 🙁

While I think this product is a good effort in terms of creating a “green” liquid eyeliner, for some reason I just don’t care for it while I see others rave about it.
I am a few months into my journey with “green” cosmetics after coming to the conclusion that makeup was part of the reason my skin has been breaking out for years. In order to rid my life of unnecessary toxins, I have been slowly rebuilding my makeup kit with more natural alternatives. It was time to replace my paraben-filled black liquid liner (after trying activated charcoal that I found to be grainy and irritating) and purchased “Raven” at my local Whole Foods.
From the time I first opened the product I kind of knew I probably wouldn’t like it but thought it would be fair to give it a chance. The spongy/brush applicator was too big and made it difficult to create precise lines. Maybe the one I purchased happened to be a dud, but I noticed after a week or so the formula started to get gloppy and became difficult to apply.
I’m still using a more conventional eye primer (that will be replaced soon) to keep product on my eyelids, but after a half hour this liner never fails at traveling down to my under-eyes. I often fall prey to raccoon eyes when it comes to “green” makeup but am determined to find products that don’t do this to me.
With that being said, I do like the pigmentation of the eyeliner which is a very true matte black. I like the ingredients and the product doesn’t irritate my eyes (though this is never an issue I have with any brand). Gabriel and Zuzu Luxe are great brands with good ingredients and are, of course, cruelty-free (a must). While I think this eyeliner falls short, the company is good overall. But for black liquid liner I will stick with loose minerals and mix them with water on the back of my hand.
Hope this was helpful!

This is my current favorite eyeliner. I prefer dark brown matte eyeliner to black eyeliner, which I find a bit harsh. I like this eyeliner in the color Tuareg, which is a matte medium warm brown, which goes on light brown but changes to a matte dark brown. It is easy to apply, glides on easily, does not smudge or wear off during the day. It does not claim to be waterproof, but I find that it stays on quite well during the day. The clean ingredients make this a great eyeliner. Moderately priced if you can find it on sale. Definite repurchase.
dopeyWildfowl8
Stings a lot if you get it in your eyes, which concerned me enough to stop using it. My whole reason for using this line is to avoid irritants/sensitizers, so I discontinued use to avoid potential sensitization. Do not know what ingredient is the culprit with the stinging.
That being said, I had no problem with performance other than finding it difficult to get a really thin line. I am trying to change up my makeup routine now and ditching the cat eye and trying to go for a more subtle look. Worked great for more dramatic cat eye, though.
Did not run and lasted well, even in the summer heat. Did not crack or fade. I used the non-glitter black color, Raven. A nice blue-black.
I am probably just going to try matte powder eyeshadow with some Face Atelier transformer or something like that. . . . trying to avoid the aluminum in so many liners like Laura Mercier tightliner, etc.
cruelIcecream9
I’ve tried quite a few liquid eyeliners and unfortunately, I’ve found you generally get what you pay for. I say ‘unfortunately’ because for a lot of other products (most notably mascaras and nail polishes) it is possible to get great results at bargain bin prices. Any liner I’ve tried under the €7-8 mark has really let me down and usually ended up in the bin after a week or so.
Anyway, back to the Yves Rocher liquid liner – at €15 it’s probably at the upper end of what I’d pay for a ‘non-high end’ eyeliner. Application was fairly easy, I liked the brush and the consistancy was okay too (not too thin as I have found many cheaper liquid eyeliners to be).
In terms of wear time without smudging, I was impressed. It wears all day, with only a slight loss of colour vibrancy. I have slightly hooded eyes so liner transferring onto my brow bone is always an issue – I would say for this product that the level of transfer was limited.
Removing the product is okay – just use any decent eye make-up remover and you’re good to go.
Overall I’d probably give this product a 3.5/5 – it’s not going to set the world alight but if you’re looking for a mid- priced eyeliner that does a pretty good job, I’d recommend it.

È molto costoso ma è ottimo ma come eyeliner preferisco quello della Kiko

I’ve been using this eyeliner for years now and I still love it. One bottle lasts me forever and I love the colour payoff. After a bit of practice I can use the applicator really well, from a fine line to a decent wing. The only downside for me is that it’s not waterproof. If they would have a waterproof variant if this, I would be very happy. But anyway, this is a great product for me.
humorousMuesli5
Not a bad liquid eyeliner, especially at this price. I bought it mainly because I love the intensity of the green shade and the fact that it is matte. Not waterproof by any means, and it does tend to move when applied to the lower lash line, so I only use it on the upper. The applicator is awkward, but then I hardly ever use the applicator that comes with any liquid eyeliner; I have my own super fine liner brush for that. A nice green for spring when worn in contrast with a pink shadow.
brainyThrushe0
I find that this eyeliner is too runny and thin that it needs to be drawn over several times to get the desired pigment. The applicator is also a little hard to get a proper line and distribute product. At least it does have a good shade range (can’t find brown liquid liner easily) and not too expensive while on special so I’m not too bummed. You can get so much better for the price.
shyCurlew5
This is a liquid eyeliner that is comparable to the Sephora brand liquid eyeliner. I find that if I don’t use a primer underneath this that it begins to migrate into my crease when I blink and wear off if I’ve got winged liner. I’ve repurchased this countless times however, because I find it easy to remove without tugging at my eyelids and it works great over Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. I will probably try the felt tip eyeliner pen from Yves Rocher next.

What a stupid waste of money. Didn’t have time to shop at Ulta or Sephora and made due with this dog of an eyeliner before a gala. Easily spent 20 minutes trying to get a good line on lids & had to re-do my shadow twice. Thin color, terrible applicator. Whatever the opposite of foolproof is, this product is it.
anxiousApples4
This a very interesting liquid liner. I am an almost exclusively liquid liner girl so I am comfortable using more difficult applicators. This applicator is unique. It’s hard but not a brush or sponge. If someone was wanting to try out liquid liner this would be a great place to start. It didn’t dry too quickly so fixing mistakes was easy and it went on fairly easily. I wouldn’t repurchase only because the black wasn’t intense enough for me. It went on dark but dried much lighter. And it didn’t last as long as I would like

– oily & semi-hooded eyelids
Pros:
– long lasting: stays put for my 9-5 days
– waterproof, smudge proof, transfer proof (after it dries)
– brush applicator: easy to control
– great for oily eyelids & tightlining on the waterline because it wont budge
Cons:
– a little pricey for drugstore
– stings a little when it gets into your eye
I used to love the NYX matte liquid eyeliner but the brush is too long and the product flakes after it starts to run out so I’ve moved on to this new baby from Almay.
bubblyBurritos2
I got the black version of this liquid liner and I like it a lot! Very pigmented matte black that stays on all day. It did not sting my eye lids and I have sensitive skin- I guess it depends on your skin though. I like how the wand isn’t very long. It’s easier for me to control the line if the wand is shorter. My one wish is that the felt tip were softer or a brush tip. I prefer brush tips because I think they’re gentler and softer.

This Halloween I was Zelda, I ran out and bought this eyeliner at my local Walmart. I didn’t notice anything weird at first but about a week or so after buying this eyeliner it started to irritate my skin a little, some time went on and it really only got worse. About a month after Halloween I tried to do some other things with this eyeliner and my whole eyelid felt like it was burning up. It has died down a little but now my concealer is acting up some

If I could give this a 0 I would! I am surprised by Almay because usually they have a great product. Not this one. It was literally nothing close to waterproof. Don’t sell it as waterproof if it’s not! Literally didn’t excercise or go in the rain , normal wear just made it bleed. Take my advice and DO NOT BUY!

This was a nice eyeliner for me when I was younger but the colour tends to look dull and come off after only a couple of hours. The applicator is a decent applicator for drawing lines in my opinion. It also stings my eyelids very slightly.

Bought in color LE-01 BLACK. This black is matte, and is described to be “extreme long lasting; waterproof”. I bought this eyeliner because my friend uses it. I don’t remember the price but it was pretty cheap; I bought it at a local drugstore. I had it for a while and didn’t use it because the applicator. I have never used an eyeliner with a similar applicator, but once you figure it out, it’s perfect. Also, matte eyeliners changes the dynamic of your makeup and it’s so much nicer.
Pros:
Matte
Long-lasting
Cheap price
Cons:
Applicator
About the applicator, if you use eyeliner (and especially if you wing out your eyeliner), you know that changing from a brush to a felt tip or to a different medium (like liquid to gel). It takes a while to get used to a new applicator and it was just a bit scary for me at first. But now, I really like it and I think if you know how to manipulate the brush, you can get precise and sharp wings. But for those who don’t wing out your eyeliner, you can easy create a nice matte line. It will take you time though if you’re not used to it, like anyone who first uses eyeliner.
Do I recommend this product? Yes!
giddySausage9
This is a nice eyeliner. The color Pop Star is a bright matte white. It’s a true white and has good staying power. However, it reminds me a little bit of White Out… it looks like it has the same consistency and it cracks if you put a thick of a layer on. So, I’m kind of on the fence with this; there seems to be an equal amount of good and bad points. Going off of other people’s reviews, it seems to just be this color that has cracking issues, though. But, I have not tried any other color personally, so I cannot confirm that. A nice liquid white, just be wary of over doing it. I am considering trying other colors.
!Edit: I ended up throwing this out after using it just a few times. The formula got dry very quickly; I had only opened the product less than 8 times to use it. The half dried out formula truly made it look like I had put White Out on my eyes… if you’re on the hunt for a white eyeliner skip this one.

This is the first liquid liner I ever purchased, and, roughly a decade later I still have it on hand. This little gem is truly one of the unsung heroes of the liquid liner world. I find eyeliners in all their various incarnations to be among the trickiest of makeup products. The consistency of a liner has far more consequence than that of a lipstick, which can be more easily re-applied or touched up. The color/quality of a liner can make or break an entire face, and the application is so beholden to the kind and quality of brush. There are so many options to choose from and so many of those options can be the wrong choice. This liquid liner — which I buy in the black/brown shade because I can’t shake the sense that I look odd in a straight black liner — has a lovely applicator brush that holds up. The color is wonderful and the liner is dark and thick and consistent (it doesn’t leave pale smudgy spots). It’s truly longwear and quick-drying. It doesn’t cake and it doesn’t dry in a different color. Absolutely top notch.

I love this product! The packaging is cute. It’s easy to hold. The applicator is just right for me. I like the effect when it dries up because it’s not glossy at all. There’s a slight burning sensation though…other than that, this eyeliner is perfect!

Not good. Going back to my Clinique liquid eyeliner, which is easy to apply and causes me no irritation. I have extremely sensitive eyes.
Pros
-Nice dark brown color
-Stays put
Cons
-Burns my eyes even before application! Just holding the applicator near them caused stinging. My eyes were red seconds after application.
-It was difficult for me to draw a nice line, but I’m not an eyeliner pro.

Ummm wow? I really like how you can have control when applying it because the handle is so long and you are able to grip very close to the applicator. Also, the felt tip is really precise and is not too stiff or bendy. The colour is nice and matte but I haven’t tried it long enough to see the longevity of this liner. I’m really glad I found this since I didn’t want to buy a pen liner because I don’t use liner that often and they dry up very easily.

this was super watery and I found it hard to make wings with this, plus it smudged easily and when it dried down it had that super shiny cracked look to it. This was worse than most drugstore products

This review is for the (apparently) newly reformulated long wearing liquid eyeliner in black. The new formula is not the least bit waterproof. I only discovered that it was no longer waterproof when to my horror, I glanced in my rearview mirror to see huge, runny, black splotches on my lids. Absolutely AWFUL. This is not long wearing, it is NO wearing. I did return the new tube to Sephora and exchanged it for my former standby, Kat Von D Tattoo liner. I initially switched to the Sephora because I prefer a matte eyeliner. while the KvD liquid liner is shiny.

I bought this eyeliner for 16CAD and although it’s not the best I’ve used, it’s certainly not the worst.
It’s very smooth and dark, and so it looks great on the eyes. I’ve never experienced any kind of skipping of the product, it draws a very opaque and consistent line. The tip is also very fine, and so it’s easy to control. I usually do a little flick towards the end of my eyes and I find it very easy to do with this eyeliner.
The only issue with it is that it’s not smudge or waterproof 🙁 apart from that though, I’d recommend it!

This stuff is thebomb.com. I love it so much.
It’s super black and pretty much dries matte. It has a little tiny brush that makes it easy to apply and fill in close to the lashes.
If you make a mistake, it is a little difficult to fix because when you get it wet or use makeup remover, it runs and smears like crazy. It’s usually a do-over situation for me, but I’m certainly no eyeliner pro. That said, I never have a problem with it running or flaking during normal every-day wear.
The first bottle I had, the lid broke when I tried to screw it on too tightly. It still worked, but I think it dried out a lot more quickly than it would have normally. I’m more careful now.
Absolutely would recommend and will without a doubt repurchase.
finickyPaella5
I buy this eyeliner in threes, because I am so scared that they will discontinue it someday. It’s the perfect consistency and the brush is very very thin. I never have problems with it running, and for my lower lid I put it in the inside (I know a lot of people think it’s gross, but us blonds kind of have to)

After running out of my beloved Clio eyeliner, I picked this up at Sephora as a temporary solution. (Just can’t leave home without eyeliner!) This is a brush, so it’s definitely harder to apply than a pen. The tip of the brush is uber fine, so you can draw very thin lines, but it doesn’t work as well for creating thicker lines. Also, it dries really quickly upon application, so I have to draw multiple dashes and then connect them instead of being able to draw one long swoop along my eyelid. It does have good staying power…even better than Clio…and will stay put all day without smudging. Unfortunately, I forgot to remove my eyeliner one night before going to bed and the resulting black marks on my white pillowcase will not come out despite multiple rounds of OxyClean. 🙁 So I would definitely recommend always removing this at night. I’m going back to Clio for the ease of a pen eyeliner, but this is pretty good for the price if you like brush applicators.

The worst stuff from MUFE! I was expect this To work great like other MUFE’s suffs such as their, brow gel aqua lips, full cover and lift concealer , this eyeliner was huge dissapointment, it said waterproof but it wasn’t! Very drying and it cannot stick to my eyes.
wornoutCockatoo5
This is an average/good eyeliner. Too expensive for an eyeliner that is not even waterproof, it didnt last long on my face, works as good as some drugstore eyeliners.
cruelDinosaur8
I was so excited when I bought this product because I am never seen without eyeliner but it is way too difficult to apply. It takes at least 3 minutes to dry and god forbid you blink before it does. You will have black smear all over your face. The one positive thing I do have to say about this product is that in my experience it lasted very well, maybe even too well. It takes some serious makeup remover to get this off. For a similar liquid eyeliner look without all the struggle, I use Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner and the accompanying Boobi Brown brush. It is flawless!!
abjectLard0
This eyeliner is a waste of my time. As others have mentioned, it doesn’t go on evenly at all, I have to let it dry and do another coat. It’s a sponge tip, so the edges of the line are darker than the rest and it’s just a mess. I also have trouble getting a fine line when using this. However, it does stay all day, and I’m in love with the intense blue color. I use it with a silvery shadow for a sky and stars effect, and it looks awesome. However, I recently discovered a Mac fluidliner that is identical in color, and you get more product for less and it’s easy to work with.
peskyMoth0
I love this eyeliner! I bought the basic black and was in tears when I had to throw it away. It’s got the best applicator I’ve seen- the spongy feel and pointy tip makes it great for drawing thick or then lines and drawing the little ‘swoop’ at the outer eye. WIll definitely have to look into the other colors. I actually do have other eyeliners and eyeliner brushes, but am also lazy. Why do extra work, when MU4E has all I need?
needyCrackers6
I am really impressed with MUFE’s liquid liner. Usually, liquid liner will smear or smudge by the end of the day on me, but this one didn’t. I prefer the stiff brush like this one to other liquid liners with a thin, soft brush. I have this in No. 18, Marine Blue. It’s a beautiful, greenish blue with shimmer.
lovesickLollies2
I have this in two colors. The blue n purple with shimmer. I love the way the blue shows up n the color is very beautiful. The purple is more suble n looks very exotic. The application is extremely easy especially if u don’t have a steady hand. Great quality!

I am not sure if I have been too used to my clio liquid eyeliner which is able to give a very thin line. I find this liner a bit too think for me and I have to swipe off the excess if not it gets into my lashes.
The lasting power of the liner is not bad but I experienced some flakes probably cause I kept this liner too long and started using it 2 months before expiry.
It does not smudge too badly but will still crack after a long day.
As there are too many liners out there I probably wont repurchase this. They do come in brown as well.
dreadfulCamel3
I feel like I’m on crazy pills, because I’ve read the reviews and this eyeliner didn’t treat me as bad as all that. In fact, for costing a single dollar it could’ve been way, way worse.
I ran out of my other black liquid liner and had some of this hidden in my drawer that I picked up way-back-when at the dollar store.. I didn’t expect much, but this created a BOLD black line and lasted all day. Seriously the color payoff was excellent.
Now for the not so good news.. This does itch and sting a bit as it dries. It’s not painful, just kind of a feeling like when you put on an exfoliating cream. It dries fast though.
The packaging is like the 80s called and the want their makeup back. Cheap. But that wouldn’t be a big deal by itself, except the wand is a bit bulky and not thin or pointed enough to create a small or clean line without effort.
Still, I hate to nitpick something that costs next to nothing and actually looks pretty good on. It’s not something I’d call a hidden gem but it’s not awful either. Do some math and if you can’t work Wet n Wild’s much better $2.50 version into your budget, feel free to pick this up and enjoy.
artisticRice5
Obviously, I bought a bad one because the second time I removed the cap the whole brush detached and fell on the floor! My one application experience with the product was not awful. The brush is tiny and the liquid liner went on modestly well, although definitely not the smoothest effect. It does tend to smear a little. I only paid $1 for it at a dollar store but, even so, I think I should have gotten more than one use. I used a lot of Aziza cosmetics in my 20s but I cannot speak for any other items of their other current line.
spiritedPorpoise2
I hate this do much . I bought it when I went to the dollar store because I’ve never owned a liquid eyeliner and I thought I could start with this one . BAD IDEA. The brush is flimsy with little hairs sticking out and the formula burns !! I out it on my eyes on my upper lash line and a few minutes later it started burning . I ended up taking it off . Worst eyeliner ever but since it was a dollar it wasn’t much of a surprise . Please stay away from this stuff.
ardentGatorade6
Terrible. Brush got stuck in the container (when I had opened it ONCE) and made the brush all messy. When I tried it it was cakey, clumpy, uneven (not my fault) and there was a stray hair from the brush on my eyelid. It even made my skin burn a bit. I don’t have sensitive skin. ELF’s cream eyeliner is loads better for the price.
EDIT: After opening for the third time, the applicator got stuck in the bottle. Stay FAR, FAR away.
wornoutCheese8
Yep… It’s crap.
crummyApricots4
I bought this at my Dollarama and I didnt have very high expectations for it because it was a dollar. I hate this so much. The brush applicator it came with was not a fine tip at all and had probably 5 stray hairs. The formula BURNS my eye area for about half an hour and then it starts to flake. I don’t even have sensitive skin! I’ve heard good stuff about this line because of it’s other products but I would NOT try the eyeliner. It’s a dollar down the drain and you may have a severe reaction on your eye area if you have more delicate or sensitive skin.. not worth the risk in my book 🙁 Would def. not repurchase. ever.
dejectedDotterel8
Aziza liquid eyeliner is pretty decent in my opinion. It goes on good if you are careful, the applicator could be better and the formula is good for a while but over time it dries out. Also the eyeliner comes off easily with water and a cloth. For a dollar this product is good though, it is a nice strong color and looks good.
jubilantBuzzard9
This is the best eyeliner I have ever tried!!! I wear it every single day and it never let’s me down. Stays on and looks bold all day. I use it on the top lashline only and use a powder or pencil to line my bottom lashline. This product line is marketed towards black women but this white girl loves black radiance! It’s so affordable too. I used to find it at Kmart but now that my Kmart closed, I buy it online. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
dreadfulCaviar0
This stuff is amazing for USD$3!!!! It can once in awhile be found on an end cap at my local yocal Kmart & that is how I discovered it. I’ve since rebought at RiteAid & drugstore.com but also FYI some Meijer’s carry Black Radiance. The Black Radiance Creme eyeliner is even more awesome, but I got this in waterproof black, it has a felt tip end. I kno it’s called Black Radiance & marketed towards WOC but anybody can use their eyeliners. (their fdtn is a diff story), but if you want an inky black waterproof liquid liner that won’t break the bank this is worth getting ur hands on! It does go bad eventually thou, it will get an ammonia like smell I’ve had a couple of other brands do that to me too just coz of going bad & necessitated in tossing them coz I had held onto them 4 entirely too long.
giddyBasmati7
Used the waterproof eyeliner.
Bought this b/c my usual Wet N’ Wild Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner was out of stock at Wal-Mart.
I wore this for the all-day Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco, CA.
Formula is runny & thin just like Wet N’ Wild’s. They also use a felt tip applicator. Shortly after the eyeliner dried, it became sticky & would stick to my eyelids when my eyes were open! And since my eyelids are oily they left a line on my eyelids where the eyeliner & eyelids met… but Wet N’ Wild’s waterproof eyeliner DOES NOT do this.
Will not repurchase.

I bought this on somewhat of a whim (looked at reviews on here for a quick sec) while at rite aid and sadly I am very disappointed. I purchased the waterproof version in black and even though it was only $3, it was such a waste of money. The has a felt tip applicator which I don’t mind, but the actual product itself is horrible: it is very watery and thus is not very opaque, it doesn’t apply evenly as well either. It also took a long time for it to dry and smeared easily for me. Big disappointment, SAVE YOURSELF FROM MAKING A HORRIBLE DECISION, DO NOT BUY.
crushedSyrup3
I have brought this product several times. I guess the inexpensive price tag is what initially made me get this and boy was I impressed. I have been using black liquid eyeliner as long as I can remember. I have tried several different drugstore brands over the years, as well as high end and I think this is one of the best I have tried which lead me to try the waterproof version..
What I look for in a liquid eyeliner is that it must be really pigmented dark black and second it should last without any smudging or flaking. I would compare this to the Sephora Long-Lasting Eyeliner which is a great product, it has good reviews however for me the down fall was that the inner corner of my eyes would smudge a bit and it cost three times the price of this one though it was a slightly more darker/pigmented. Now after purchasing this product several times, I decided to give the waterproof liquid eyeliner by Black Radiance a go and I found that I liked it even better than the regular Black Radiance. The waterproof one initially comes out quite runny, really watery and has a stiff felt-tip applicators instead of the brush. I regret buying it the first time I used it. However, after a few tries I learned that once I am able to draw the line with few coats since the product is thin and runny I have to go over it a few times… it dries into a wonderful deep black line that is long lasting (the regular one finishes off matte compare to the waterproof) I’ve grown to like it but I will admit the waterproof one might not be for everyone. If you are looking strictly for easy use and better applicator, I would suggest going for the regular one instead of the waterproof version.
Some of the long lasting black eyeliners I have tried and like are Sephora Long-Lasting eyeliner, MAC LiquidLast Liner, its dupe Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner but at the end for the price, ease of use, pigment and longevity the Black Radiance eyeliners is a good buy in my opinion.

This is an amazing liquid eyeliner. I’ve had it for a long time and it works so well. Lasts all day and it’s easy to work with. I’ve never been good at applying liquid liner but this tip is easy to make fine lines with and that classic wing. I love it. It’s so affordable as well. I recommend this.
spiritedSeahorse1
Best liquid eyeliner ever!! I swear by this stuff. Lasts all day long and very fluid application. Does not get dried up like other liners I have tried. You cannot beat the quality and price. Awesome product!💋

I’m the type of person who wears a dramatic wing on a daily basis (have been for about 8-9 years now). That being said, I am a liner junkie. I generally reach for my gel liners, however, if I am feeling lazy or I’m in a hurry, I will reach for liquid. I have used a lot of liquid liners. I’ve used horrible liners, I’ve used amazing liners. Honestly, for $3.. This liner surprised me. It gives my high end liners a run for their money. It’s BLACK BLACK. Very intense. It lasts in me all day and night without flaking or smudging. I like the felt tip it comes with . Firm and easy to use to get my beloved wing. It also dries fairly quickly. I would definitely repurchase .
sincerePretzels7
I ordered the set and I think they were pretty good, hardly flake and didn’t smudge once dry. Only reason I wouldn’t get them again is because I’m not to big on liquid liner.
solidPolenta6
So I got this in my January? ipsy bag…
It smells like varnish.
I was an art major in college and this smells like how to wood shop smelled when someone was applying a wood stain or sealant to their project. Something they would do while wearing a ventilator mask.
What in god’s name is in this product that makes it smell like this????? If something smells this terrible, why on Earth would I put it near my EYE!????!
That being said, I did try it (the fumes killed so many brain cells that I then thought it was a good idea). The brush is okay. Not the best I’ve used, but not the worst. I got a black liner called “Jet” (maybe they call it jet because it smells like JET FUEL) and it’s a pretty solid black. The liner also stays put all day. That actually surprised me. Usually the issue I run into is that when I wing out my liner it kind smudges near the outer corner half way through the day. That didn’t happen with this liner.
But none of that changes the fact that this product smells so incredibly bad. I threw it out because there cannot be anything good for a person in that formula if it smells like that.

I received this Coastal Scents Liquid Eyeliner in an ipsy bag, and was very excited to try it. The bottle shapes is a little different then what I had been used to using! I received the jet black color, and it is very black, has very good staying power as the product promises and honestly its only $2.95 a bottle. It really doesn’t get much cheaper then that. I liked this product but wasn’t madly in love with it. I felt the formula of the eyeliner was very liquidy and when I placed it on, I felt it rolled into my lashes and made them look a little piecey which I wasn’t the biggest fan of. But for $2.95 I feel like I could work with it a little more and figure out a way to make this product work. Its worth having on hand as it is very inexpensive and it really is a true black eyeliner. At the end of the day, I would buy it again, and I would recommend it, just be warned that its very liquidy!
scornfulDunbird1
This rating is for the older formula. Previous to April 2016. The brush is horrible and it’s not long wearing. I you don’t have oily lids or watery eyes then I think it would be fine but you will need to use a different brush which is an added expense.
excitedQuiche7
I bought this eyeliner because I needed one fast so I just picked this one up from H&M. I’m not exactly a pro at eyeliners but I didn’t really like this one. It smudges pretty easily, or more like fades during the day and it’s a bit hard to apply. (Of course it gets easier when you get used to the tip). I simply didnt’t like this product but I don’t know if it’s because I don’t like eyeliners over all or if it’s because of the product. It has a very good price though so try for yourselves!
dopeyChowder9
This is actually a really great eyeliner. It’s so easy to use, it dosen’t smugde ( not on me at least ), and i stays on the lid all day long! It’s not really a pigmented black colour though, it’s more a washed out black, but you can build it up or add a darker eyeliner or eyeshadow on top or something. Excellent for the price!
murkyCheese6
This is actually very nice for being that cheap.
I wear winged eyeliner every day and I have used MAC Fluidline, Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner, Wet n Wild cream eyeliner, Maybelline gel eyeliner, all dip-liners ever, and I mostly use my cake eyeliner from Illamasqua, with a separate brush.
This one isn’t the blackest one out there in one stroke, but it’s not hard building it up. It’s incredibly easy to work with, since it’s a felt top. In my opinion, easier than gel eyeliner. It’s really thin on the top and gets thicker closer to the pen, so you can make a really thin line or a thicker one.
I recommend this to anyone who has a low budget or just want an eyeliner that’s very easy to work with. Highly recommend!
wearyTuna3
First of all, I didn’t purchase this in the classic black, but in a shimmery khaki green that appeared in stores lately. I’ve also seen it in yellow gold and electric blue, however at least the one I got doesn’t have a shade name on it. So, I cannot comment on the intensity of the black one, which I’m sure many are interested about, but I assume everything else about my experience applies to the rest of the shades, as the brush and the formula are probably the same.
So, the brush….. Where do I begin with this brush. To be fair, I’m not very skilled with non-pencil eyeliner and I’ve only started working with it and trying to get the hang of it for the past twelve months or so. But this one definitely does not make application easy at all. It’s thin, laughably flimsy and too long. Therefore it’s difficult to control and get very close to your lash line. I keep accidentally getting product on my lashes. Also, getting a smooth, straight line is a struggle and don’t get me started on getting both flicks even.
In addition to that, correcting any mistakes is a struggle in itself, because this shade has a ton of glitter; the pigment can be removed pretty easily, but the glitter tends to stay behind, stick on the skin and make a mess.
Now, for the consistency, it’s pretty ok, as I mentioned it has tons of glitter but I don’t mind that, it was pretty clear when I chose it anyway. It goes on quite light and not so visible, but once it dries it darkens and it sets into a shade that really does pop. It compliments hazel eyes beautifully, I must say.
So all in all, for three euros I don’t regret this purchase at all. I wouldn’t buy it again though and I would never dare go anywhere near the black one. In my opinion, it’s a nice thing to get if you’re looking to experiment with fun colors, but I would never recommend this for a classic, black eyeliner. Tons of much better stuff out there for that.
affectedSwift8
I like the applicator of this product: some liquid eyeliner applicators can separate and become fuzzy, which makes it impossible to get a clean line. This eyeliner doesn’t do that.
However, when I go back over a line that I’ve drawn with this, it goes clumpy! If you don’t get the line perfect the first time, it just gets worse.
This dries very matte, which isn’t my preference, but would be good for someone who doesn’t like a shiny liquid eyeliner look.
Overall, I’m disappointed with this eyeliner. The ELF one is half the price and works much better (although it isn’t matte).
mellowSnipe4
I’ve been a liquid eyeliner junkie for ever and I’ve been using this for YEARS but whilst shopping recently in Sydney I was talked into buying Benefit They’re Real Push Up Liner. Now this liner just doesn’t do it for me anymore – although I prefer the applicator on this one to Benefits, the staying power is crap compared (I shouldn’t really compare them though – this one is true liquid liner and Benefits is gel) – especially by the corner of the inner eye where it wears off pretty quickly. It is very easy to remove and as I said earlier, the applicator is great, but I only keep this in my purse now for touch ups.

I LOVE THIS EYELINER!!!!! I have extremely oily eyelids, also hooded-ish eyes so my eye makeup tends to crease but this stuff has lasted me through 2 rock concerts (with good priming) I’ve had it for so long and it has not at all dried up on me yet and the sponge applicator can fray a bit at the end but I just smooth it back, it’s so cheap too!

i bought this eyeliner in a gold colour and it just stung my eyelids like crazy. i love the colour but it stings so much and it continues stinging even when it’s dry.
pluckyChamois7
I brought this since I needed a new liner because the one I use normally had ran out and needed a quick fix. It was a mistake as this liner smudged terribly on me. It has a thick goopy formula which made the drying time super long and after it did dry, the liner started to crack after a couple of hours. The colour is a deep black which was what I was looking for so I guess that’s a good thing about it. The applicator is a felt tip, so that made it easier to work with than a brush tip in my opinion. Won’t repurchase unfortunately.

Apparently my originalt review got deleted so I’m adding 1 in. I got inglot #25 liquid (matte black—the numbering system has discouraged me from buying more inglot—I cant tell what color is in the pix swatches. I had to google descriptions of the colors so I’d get the matte black. It has a felt tip (that you dip into an ink well. It’s not a marker “pen”) mine the tip has gotten more blunted as I’ve used it more & more (-1 lippie for packaging). 5/5 for the eyeliner this formula isn’t waterproof but you’d never know it. It’s quite smudgeproof & my eyes are so watery-Rheumy badly but this rarely smears. It does take a hot second to dry but it’s inky Black. I trace over it with my Tom Ford ONYX eye pencil kohl. It makes it really black & dramatic & it stays put! This was $14 iirc but it’s high quality for a cheap price from Macys.com . You have to spend $20+ on a good eyeliner normally. I’m not much of a gel gal but #77 is a good black gel to get if you need a waterproof eyeliner.
ETA: For me tbh I prefer elf’s liquid liner if I’m going to use non WP as it has a better brush. This is like trying go like your wings w a dull pencil. I don’t know if I would rebuy #maybe I did buy a back up I lost it somewhere promptly. It started out being HG but as the tip deteriorated it made demoted less HG & more like #ugh try #elf ladies & gents for $3USD you don’t have much to lose, you might find your HG like I did.

I think I got too used to NYX eyeliners that never smudge on me. This eyeliner smudged SO FAST on me. I have super oily eyelids but still, it was pretty bad. I did like the opaqueness though and I’ll still use it with some eye primer underneath.
superiorSnail7
It’s a real shame about this eyeliner that the lasting power isn’t the greatest. I bought a dark blue shade (30?) and it was just the colour I was looking for. Application was the easiest I’ve ever had for an eyeliner (I normally buy felt tip ones and regret it, but this one has little hairs). The colour complimented by brown eyes well. I had to apply more than one coat though for full opacity – the formula is surprisingly super wet! If you shake the bottle you can hear the product splish sploshing inside (something I’ve never witnessed before with a liquid liner).
That’s about where the good stuff ends – it bled a little where I did my wing but nothing too major. I had it on roughly 7 hours the first time I tried it, and at the end of it my wing was obliterated and I had a few flakes on my under-eyes and glasses. It held up reasonably well on the actual eyelid, though, I’ll give it that.
The flaking doesn’t really bother me, but there’s nothing I hate more than eyeliner fading away. Particularly the wing!
I’m thankful it didn’t turn out as bad for me as it did for the other reviewers here. However, I paid 23 dollars for this sub-par product and now I’m quite limited as to when I can wear it (for a short party or when I only have a few classes in a day, I guess). Overall it’s not completely terrible but for what you get considering the price I sure as hell would not recommend and certainly not repurchase. You’d be better off with something from the drugstore. At least if it’s not that good you didn’t blow a lot of money on it.
And for the record, my HG liquid liner is by KIKO (precision liner). And guess what? The price was practically a quarter of this one – yup, 5 and a half dollars.

This was horrible. I mean horrible!!! I bought the purple color and I was very excited about it. However, within an hour at most, it just crumbled and disappeared. It was so bad! Don’t buy this!

I have this liquid eyeliner in shades 33 and 34 and had the same issues with both. When I first used these liners, they were super watery and bled everywhere and didn’t look anything like the colour on the website. I found I had to stick a toothpick into the little tube and wiggle it around to release the ball bearing and then shake it up loads. After I’d done that, they both perform brilliantly, although it is annoying that I needed to do this for both shades and suggests it’s an issue with the liners as a whole and not just one dud.
Shade 33 is a beautiful springy grass green and shade 34 is a really deep metallic emerald. The brush on this liquid eyeliner is small and flexible and the light liquid texture makes it easy to draw a precise line. Once on, they wear all day and don’t crack, smudge or fade. Shade 33 does stain my eyelids a little. I do feel the price is a little steep for the relatively basic packaging. I do still really love these liners and the fact that they come in such fun colours!

I want to complain regarding my purchase of Inglot Liquid Eyeliner from Pacific Mall, Subhash Nagar., Delhi.
It was completely different what the representative demonstrated. The eyeliner is total watery, so much that the eyeliner ink was falling onto my clothes .
And when i went to return the product , they totally denied and my whole purchase of 900 INR is totally wasted .

No staying power whatsoever. Not waterproof, not smudgeproof, not flakeproof. These actually invent a whole new method of disappearing: Pure evaporation. They just disappear off your lids, without leaving a trace. I can’t even find any flakes or specks on my face. Just missing liner. Where did it go?
Who cares. Not buying ever again. Pity, because the color is gorgeous and the application effortless. But we buy makeup for the end result, and not the act of applying. Fail.

Pros:
-It dries matte
-The brush is precise (or I’m just used to it)
-The formula is a nice consistency
-It creates a a good, standard line
Cons:
-Sort of unforgiving to mistakes (most liquid liners are like that)
-The color isn’t as black as I would like it
-It is not waterproof whatsoever (for some might be a pro)
This is a good product for those who don’t want to throw down a lot for a liquid eyeliner but there are a lot better options out there on the market. This isn’t for the leaky eyed folks out there either because it will run if you get just a drop of water on it.
Honestly, it’s not bad but it’s also not the best. I’ve used it for a long time and have been satisfied with the quality but I would have preferred to have a gel just because that is what I like to use for liner.

I’ve repurchased this eyeliner so many times and I think it’s the best inexpensive eyeliner. I wear this everyday to school and usually take my makeup off at night, but before I do I always look at the mirror to see how my makeup lasted. It does smudge a little though, but you can’t expect it to be like a permanent marker on your eyes especially since its just a 2 dollar eyeliner. And makeup is always meant to come off at the end of the night.
And yet I still think this is the best eyeliner ever.

This eyeliner is fantastic. My favorite. It is very pigmented, and black is very intense, so you only need to swipe once. The texture is easy to work with, not too thin, not too thick. The brush is very slim, which might take some getting used to, but it lets you apply a very thin line if you need to. Lasts literally ALL day with or without primers, with or without setting, heat, cold, or rain. It doesn’t go anywhere from where you put it. And at the same time it is easy to remover with just facewash- dream came true!
The packaging is sturdy, so the product doesn’t dry out for a very very long time. The only thing that is not so good is that the writing on the tube gets scratched off really fast, but that’s a very minor thing.
Great for every day and for going out. Have repurchased and will repurchase again. A really excellent, non-irritating product, better than much more expensive liners I’ve tried.

I’m really glad that I took a chance and tried this product despite not finding any reviews of it anywhere. It’s a slim, felt-tip eyeliner pen that can draw very thin lines to dramatic thick lines. I used to never wear liquid liner for my everyday look because even the thin lines (from using L’Oreal’s line intensifique and Lancome’s artliner) look too bold and obvious on me. However, with this product, I was actually able to draw thin, light lines that look very natural on me. The best part is that it stayed put on my oily lids for the whole day; no smudges even after splashing my face with water to wake up from a nap.

i get this for free from my grandmother, who sells mary kay, and i LOVE it.
it’s the only liquid eyeliner that i’ll use.
sure, it flakes off, but only when it’s been on for a long time.
the applicator can do broad lines, or you can use the tip for a thin line. i’ve been using this eyeliner for 3-4 years, and i’ve never had any complaints.

Mary Kay used to have a great light brown liquid eye liner, and matching mascara. It was easy to apply, stayed on and was a nice light brown that I could never find before or since. I wish they would bring it back.

I had this product when I was at hightschool and loved it. Buyed recently and hated…maybe because I got used to different applicator… I also noticed it doesn’t last as expected, it falls off in pieces!!!!!

I was amazed by this liquid eyeliner when I saw it in the whole foods store so I bought two: one in black and one in blue. I tried them on first time at home yesterday and they were good.. the application is easy, the tip is solid and does not move like a nail polish tip and it is so easy to put it on. Just place your finger on the outer corner of your eye, close your eye and draw a line.
They are slightly shiny but they don’t remain shiny when they dry. Excellent product, plus knowing that it is natural is a bonus! I will buy a few more colors. It is not cheap though, about $15 but less than Lancomes liquid eyeliner which retails for $30 each!

I’ve been using this eyeliner for years and I love it! I have it in the colors raven, azure, and nile. This eyeliner never smudges and it stays on all day. The applicator is great and so is the packaging. I have nothing bad to say about this eyeliner! I recommend it for anybody.

This is an amazing liquid eyeliner! It’s already not easy to find a dark black eyeliner that stays put all day, now to have all that and be 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free makes it a dream come true! The applicator is easy to use, so you have a lot of control in the application process and can get a nicely defined line that will not smudge or fade until you choose to wash it off and then it comes off without a problem. I have really sensitive eyes so I hate if I have to do even the slightest rubbing of my eyes to get make up off. I have a very detailed review on my blog if anyone is interested in reading more about this wonderful product. The blog is focused on skincare and makeup for sensitive skin : http://www.sensitastic.blogspot.com

I got this product on a recommendation from some beauty website. Worst recommendation I have ever received. I won’t be going to that website anymore. While I loved the pigmentation, the staying power of this is horrible. HORRIBLE!! I am returning it tomorrow. I normally like Almay products, but not this one. Complete fail, don’t let the “water resistant” fool you, it’s not waterproof or wear proof. It smudges, and wears off very quickly I do not have oily eyelids, I set my eyes with primer and powder, before applying the eyeliner and after about 4 hours my wing was smeared and faded. I was not sweating or in a humid climate.

I didn’t love this eyeliner. the pigment wasn’t super black, and it turned into a powdery texture when it dried. also, the felt tip applicator was a bit too thick for me. the only thing I liked was the ink pot packaging. not terrible for the price but not great.
panickyDoves8
Only pro is this is easy to use and draw with. Pigmentation is ok. Doesn’t stay on, I’ve never had a liquid liner that wears off and smudges so easily. By the end of the day it’s all gone like I didn’t even put it on. I wouldn’t purchase again.

Dang! I like so many things about this product, but the “Con” below trumps all the good stuff:
PROs:
– black color has nice pigmentation
– applicator is not difficult to work with
– affordably priced
– Prestige has some great products, especially for eyes
Wow, right?! These sure make it sound like a HG product for me! But there’s a problem…and for me it’s a game changer (not in a good way…)
CON:
– it itches/burns on application. I used it on my upper lid, for a cat-eye line, but noticed that moments after application I felt an uncomfortable irritation. The first couple of times I ignored it and the sensation seemed to fade (or I acclimated to the discomfort?) As time went on, I found myself avoiding use of the product due to the sensation and the possible ramifications. I never applied it to my waterline, but I can imagine that might have produced a more painful experience.
I do not have particularly sensitive skin so this result is surprising to me. I see here that about 15% of reviewers are having this issue, and I hate to say I’m in that disappointed minority. I hope that Prestige will examine the formulation to determine what is causing this effect for a significant number of users.
The bottom line is that the irritation makes me wonder about the safety of my eyes and skin, and I’m drawing the line there (no pun intended!) After all, it’s great to look pretty — but my health trumps makeup any day!

This eyeliner made my eyes burn. It was painful. Obviously wouldn’t repurchase.

Been using the same one in black for quite a while now. Zero problems other than it will come off very easily if you rub your eyes, or with a bit of water. But in that regard, it’s easy to clean off. Dries quick. Staying power is bad. But at least it’s semi-cheap. The brush was great, it didn’t break. Easy as hell to put on. If it had better staying power it would be 5/5.

This review is for the High Precision Eye Liner in black by Sephora. I was on the hunt for an eyeliner that would stay put all day as most of my previous liquid eyeliners would typically rub off and look non existent after a few hours even when I wasn’t too active. A friend recommended this eyeliner and so far I love it. The colour goes on strong and smooth and after 8 hours, my line hasn’t moved at all! Price is also great…sells for $15 at Sephora which is only a few dollars more than most drugstore brands.

If you’re searching for a waterproof eyeliner this is not a good purchase. It peels of and cracks when it dries, then you can literally use your saliva to remove it. Such a bad purchase for me.

I loved this eyeliner in Fancy Blue… at first. I even went back and got it in Black since that seemed so popular as it was always sold out. I love how bright cobalt blue and MATTE Fancy Blue is. But unfortunately, I realized it flakes throughout the day, I will get specks of it on my cheeks throughout the day because it starts flaking. Even when I don’t wear any mascara with it. I never have had issues with flaking from an EYELINER! Even with mascara I never have issues with flaking so this surprised me. Still on the hunt for the perfect bright, cobalt blue eyeliner. This one got the color right but not the formula since it flakes. Maybe I can find a gel formula in the same shade.
Also, FYI, this product seems almost identical to Revlon’s Skinny Liner which I own in Black and I suspect the bright blue shade it comes in is also a dupe for the Sephora one. The packaging is identical and both are made in Germany. The skinny liner brush is finer and more brush-like though, while the Sephora one is more felt-like. The Sephora black also seems a tad darker but not by much – both are the darkest matte black I have found in a liner, I compared a bunch of my black liners one day and discovered this. I haven’t actually tested the Sephora black out yet other than swatching but I’m hoping it doesn’t flake like the Fancy Blue. Will probably keep them but would not buy again due to flaking.
EDIT: So I tried the Revlon Skinny liquid liner in blue and I can confirm it is the SAME bright, matte, cobalt blue as the Sephora product, and it does NOT FLAKE at all throughout the day. Score! 🙂 I returned the Sephora blue. The Sephora black, however, is great and I have since worn it and can confirm that it does NOT flake. Only the Sephora fancy blue had a major flaking problem.

I tried Metallic White, but it didn’t impress me. I found it difficult to work with when I attempted to apply it, so I figured for a couple dollars more, I could get Kevyn Aucoin’s The White Liquid Shimmer (which is what I really wanted all along). I’ll be returning this, thank goodness for Sephora’s generous return policy! 🙂

This product has amazing staying power. I have very oily skin and it lasts all day, even if I go to a club. It is a very high pigment product. The felt brush is very good for beginners. You do have to apply 3 coats to make it the same color as it is on the bottle.
dreadfulRat6
I bought the purple/blue; love love love the color. I have found that it stays pretty much all day, doesn’t run or flake on me. But I wouldn’t buy it again because it is so darn difficult to apply. I have to have a qtip in my other hand to correct mistakes. And it clumps my fine lower lashes together. There have been days/nights when I wanted to wear it but chose another color to save the hassle.
truthfulTortoise2
It was cheap, but it smelled strong. It didn’t last too long, probably about few weeks after I bought it.

I’d been wanting to try a liquid liner for a long time, and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on one since I wasn’t sure how it would look on me, so I picked this one up at the dollar store. Considering it was only a buck, I have to say I’m pretty impressed. The colour is good, an intense black, which is what I was after and the brush works fine for me. You need a steady hand, but that is probably true of most liquid liners. I’m not sure about lasting power, because I never wear eye makeup without first using UDPP, and with the primer potion this liner stays on all day without flaking, smudging or fading. The formula is a little goopy; ideally I’d like one that is smoother, but again, it was only a buck!

I don’t usually wear a lot of eye makeup- a nude shadow and some mascara creates my look :). But for those special nights out, I wanted something to really make my eyes pop. After reading rave reviews on liquid liners, I wanted to try one out and stopped at my local 99 cent store. I wanted to buy a good product without spending a lot, and Aziza has always been a favorite.
I am pleasantly surprised at the results- the liner comes out in a small, thin brush and with a steady hand you can create a very beautiful look. I only line the top of my lash line from the center out.
You do have to give it a good minute to dry, but it lasts all day and for the price, I will buy again!

My fave Liquid liner. I hate felt tip liners, with this liner the the tip is the best part. It has a brush tip kind of like a thin lip brush rather than the felt tip. It doesn’t drag and makes thin lines like a dream. This eyeliner is very pigmented. IT was worth all 3 bucks I paid for it.

Loved it so much I went out and bought three more! This is my HG eyeliner. I use Urban Decays pencil liner on my lid and the Black Radiance waterproof liner on my bottom lash line. I does not budge a single bit and it’s just wonderful! Don’t hesitate to buy this product, it’s great. My only complaint is when I apply it to my upper lid the formula catches on my eyelashes, making it extremely difficult to apply mascara without the clumpy effect. It’s such a bargain at $3!
bubblyDinosaur3
Love this eyeliner, except for the waterproof formula. The waterproof formula had a chemical type of smell to it. Not only that it has this hard sponge like applicator thats difficult to use. Removing it is even worse, all of that tugging in order to get it off wasnt good so I decided to stop using it. Don’t use the waterproof formula because its horrible.
Also their creme eyeliner is my favorite though & I use it on a regular basis. Good staying power & no flaking or rubbing off.
