This is my favourite eyeliner to wear along my lower lash line! I don’t know what I’d do if they decided to discontinue this shade. It’s my go-to. I have so many different eyeliners but this is the one I always come back to when all my colour experimenting is said and done. I only line 3/4 of my lower lash line. It just looks better like that for my eye shape. I like this colour so much because it isn’t as intense as an ordinary black pencil. This is softer and very flattering. The contrast between this pearly shade and then my dark eyelashes is amazing.

Love this liner. It’s like a soft pearly gray. Perfect for lining under my bottom lashes for a subtle smoky look. Lasts all day, looks great, affordable! No complaints whatsoever. Can’t ask for more!

I bought this at a sale london drugs was having for $3.49 CND along with cool water.
My friend (who is Caucasian, while I am Asian) wears grey eyeliner and it looks so good on her, when I noticed the eyeliners on sale today I immediately started grabbing a bunch to sample on my hand. Then I saw black pearl, a greyish black and thought, hey, why not? It turned out..pretty good! I look like trailer trash when I have black pencil eyeliner on (or maybe it’s just ’cause the tip’s pretty wide, stupid automatic pencils) so I just automatically assumed asians with my type of eyelids can’t pull off pencil eyeliner, only liquid. Boy, was I wrong! Plus this goes on so smooth and I don’t have to go over it a bunch of times to get the color I want *coughPRESTIGEcough*. Unfortunately this eyeliner doesn’t look like it can withstand a little water or a full day though (well, it IS kohl..) but I’ll live!
def. repurchase 🙂

One of the nicest colours i have found for eyeliners. The eyeliner itself is not too hard to apply(like the ones that love to poke)and not too soft(like the ones that you touch and they go the other way). However i found that it does not last very long and may need touchups. But again, pretty colour and very inexpensive.

I was looking for a nice black eyeliner that wouldn’t be too harsh and wouldn’t smudge.
This colour is a silvered-black. Close to MAC’s e/l Phone Number.
This goes on well and is easy to apply. My new favourite black e/l is MAC blitz & glitz but Black Pearl is much easier to apply and very transportable.
Would repurchase

Shimmery gun metal black. Nice color, if the crayon was smooth enought to glide… guess not. Next!

Annabelle used to make their kohls very soft and they came in a creamy colored pencil (like the pencil was painted a creamy color, bot the kohl itself). Then I could find no use for the kohls sicne they broke easy and couldn’t be smudged, but thankfully they have changed. The newer oens are harder, easy to work with and have a great selection of colors.
Black Pearl is oe of my favorites. It’s a dark silvered grey with hints of white, that is perfect for a smokey eye.
I recommend the Annabelle eyeliners to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive kohl (under $4 CND) that works like a charm.

I love these kohls! I’ve paid more than 5 times the price of these for pencils I don’t even love half as much. The Annabelle kohls are very creamy and soft in general, lasting all day on me with minimal creasing and smudging (I have oily lids but I use an eye base). “Black Pearl” is a dark grey with a tiny, tiny bit of sheen. Very good for a smoky eye. I highly recommend these drugstore pencils to all Canadian girls…for less than four bucks, what’ve you got to lose?
Erm, ok, maybe the four bucks. But these are a staple for me – my favourite shades are “Chestnut” and “Mother Nature”.
