i first got this KATE liquid eyeliner 3 years ago and im still OBSSESSED with it now. the application brush is the thinnest among all the other drugstore brands like Maybelline, Relvon, SilkyGirl liquid eyeliners i’ve ever come across. the brush is able to give the most precise line that you want AND I LIVE FOR IT. the liquid formula is amazing as well – pigmented and stays on all day without setting powder or spray. the brown is dark enough to still stand out in my medium skin tone and it creates a softer look as compared to the one in black. overall, i used this product a few times per month and it lasted for a year. however, price is a little steep: $24 in my country and the other drugstore brands sells theirs in the $10 range.

I had fairly high expectations for this seeing as KATE is owned by Kanebo and the price wasn’t particularly low (in the midranges if bought in Asia – I think mine cost around 11 quid).Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. The colour, a chocolate brown, is very nice, the packaging very sleek; the issue is with the formula. Despite being fairly pigmented, it is very watery and bleeds upwards onto your eyelid. This also makes it a little messy to apply.
The product is okay for everyday wear or if you’re blending it out with powder, but not good enough if you want a precise application and a very neat look.
