The product packing is ok and this is a real back ink. The problem for me was that is seems to be dry and application was not easy at the beginning. If I needed to retouch, it would remove product already aplied. After some applications the tip went weak. It make a job but certainly there are other unexpensive products that for sure would have better results.

Great for Pencil sills, tangle boards, bookmark, crochets, wet sites, ink that doesnt absorb all of the liquid. Cons requires polish and may be detachable – but still nice to use.

I think it was just about spot on, but since it was applied past my father to create a black ink, I didn’t trust the pigmentation at all, they left it in dark shades. Eventually I decided to read other reviews and “understand what this brand does.” Last August I wrote this review. I am 100% ordering from them again this year. I have only checked out the two other dead ends and they were good. This filler ink is a beautiful exception to this rule but not a bad one. Only question is, where do I turn my folexures on the second they don’t close off? I would recommend giving this product a second look. I am glad I did!

It’s a ‘meh’ from me. It’s a nice black and glides on smoothly without looking patchy. The tip is fine, which is great, but it’s way too soft and the staying power is so-so (I always use a primer), after 6 hours it begins to crease. It’s not a bad product but I expected more from Urban Decay and from what it costs, so it’s 2.5 lippies from me.

This eyeliner has really great staying power, I really have to try to remove it at the end of the day. However, if you have really sensitive eyes (like me), I would not recommend buying this product. My eyes would become red around the eyelid and under. It made my eyes red, swollen, and irritated. The skin around my eyes (where the eyeliner was) began to get really dry and the skin would start flaking. That being said, besides those factors, the eyeliner does it’s purpose. It stays on really well, but trying so hard to remove it can cause irritation as well. So I would not repurchase, I had to throw mine away.

One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to makeup is when I perfectly apply eyeliner in the morning, only to realise it’s smudged halfway down my face during the day! After trying a huge array of cheap drugstore eyeliners, I finally decided it was time to invest in a high-end eyeliner. Urban decay has always been a brand I’ve trusted in regards to longevity so thought it’d be wise to try their eyeliner… And I wasn’t disappointed!!!
This eyeliner truly does not budge throughout the day. It’s waterproof, so I recommend removing with an oil based makeup remover otherwise you won’t be able to get it off! That’s how amazingly long lasting it is!!
The tip of the liner is so tiny and thin; perfect for creating a really defined, sharp wing.
I’ll defiantly be repurchasing and would recommend if you too have issues with eyeliner smudging 🙂

A resounding “meh” for a price comparable to Stila or KVD the pen should honestly be a lot more waterproof. I have used KVD and Stila for tightlining in the past and it has worked well with minimal transfer. I find this pen smudges onto my bottom eyelids and inner rim so terribly it makes me look like a racoon.
What I did like about this product was the very tiny tip of the pen, and the thinness of the pen itself. While it dried out fast it was a lovely dark black. Also my eyes didn’t react to it like they do some other liquid eyeliners, which can cause my lids to swell and look awful. It wore well on my top eyelid, but finding something I can tightline with is the tricky part. After all, essence has an awesome liquid liner pen that works fine for my top eyelid and it’s dirt cheap. Glad I got it as part of a value set, an easy pass from now on.

I almost returned this liner after the first time I used it. It skipped when I tried to draw a smooth line, it seemed on the drier side, and overall I just wasn’t impressed with the application… But then I had a huge crying meltdown (unrelated to this product lol). I thought to myself “Wow, my makeup must be a mess” but when I checked in the mirror, my winged liner was still PERFECT. And, just like that, I was sold.
I brought this liner down to Orlando for a trip to the theme parks and it flawlessly lasted all day long through 90 degree Florida heat and humidity, and even water rides! Despite its staying power, it removes pretty easily, especially with an oily makeup remover and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes at all. I also love that it’s paraben free. It’s not perfect– I still don’t love the packaging or the way that it applies, and it seems like it will dry out quickly, but it’s worth putting up with the negatives for perfect winged liner that lasts 16+ hours through any conditions.

Was pleased with the felt tip and the blackness of the product but somehow the lid came off in my bag and the tip managed to dry out in less than 24 hours. Could not revive.

I’m really surprised by the other reviews on this product. I haven’t had a lot of the aforementioned issues, my lines are streak free and the darkest black. I think the shine level is pretty standard, I wouldn’t consider it shiny at all but also not sure if it’s a true matte. I like how sleek the packaging is though it makes it sink into the deep abyss that is my make up bag, and I only started having issues with the felt tip drying up about six months after purchase with daily use and running hot water over the tube fixed it right up. Now that it’s a bit older I find I occasionally have to go over a part of my line, and when that happens you absolutely have to make sure the ink is dry otherwise it won’t work and you’ll end up without any line at all. All and all, would I repurchase? Maybe. Probably. The felt tip is incredibly easy to work with and makes my lines super precise and lasts a good amount of time. It’s pretty expensive for what it is though and while I haven’t gotten to test how waterproof it is, I have noticed that it sometimes fades throughout the day. I’ll probably try the Stila pen before I consider repurchasing this one.

I just bought this yesterday and am already planning to return it. What a turd! It’s like trying to line your eyes with a dried out marker. I started drawing my line, and some parts were solid and black, others were streaky grey, and then nothing at all was coming out. Very spotty in its application. It isn’t even worth $1. I can’t believe UD made such an utter fail of a product.

Surprised by the previous negative reviews because I am OBSESSED with this liner! No exaggeration I own about 15 black liners currently and this is my favorite! It goes on so perfectly black and I can make straight, gorgeous lines; thick or thin! I haven’t had it very long so haven’t noticed it during out at all yet. This is my cat eye’s best friend!
