I love the gel, I hate the pencil material, of plastic. It ruined my sharpener. HOWEVER, I ALMOST THREW IT OUT AFTER 2 USES BECAUSE THE SPIN AT THE BOTTOM DIDN’T PUSH UP THE PENCIL. i CAME HERE AND SAW OVER 300 PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME THING AND LOREAL SAYING ITS REALLY JUST LIKE A PENCIL THAT YOU SHARPEN.THIS SHOULD BE STATED IN YOU DESCRIPTION. Instead of making us look for it. How many people threw this out like I almost did and will never buy anything loreal again?

I would give this a 3.5 if I could, but it’s not quite a 4.
My beloved rose gold automatic eyeliner was discontinued (why does that always happen?!) so I picked this up in the “highlight” shade as a replacement contender. Seems that decent rose gold liners are few and far between.
This liner is pretty good. Not automatic but a nice creamy formula that doesn’t tug and lasts well throughout the day (over 8 hours) without fading. Sharpens easily and the pigmentation is solid, especially considering the light color of it. I just wish the color had a bit more depth – was more of a rosy metallic shade rather than the pale highlight it is. Formula, price and packaging are all fine. I’m still on the lookout for a liner that’s true rose gold than pale pink champagne but this does the trick for undereye lining in the meantime.

I had the worst experience with the eyeliner silkissme,. I was really excited to use it and as I opened the cap and gently applied it, the tip broke and I couldn’t even sharpen it again. Now I have a brand new product with me which is completely unusable. I should have read the reviews before buying.

I bought three of these and liked the product. I would not buy it again because each liner lasted only two weeks. I am back to using Revlon Colorstay. The goal is to use an eyeliner that stays where it is put. Racoon eyes is a bad look unless you are a racoon.

I heard that this Silkissme line would glide on the waterline and not smudge. WRONG
I jumped the gun and bought 5 shades. All glide on fairly smooth and I can build up the opacity. However, to reach a nice rich shade my pencil is worn and the wood is nearly scratching me. By the 4-5 hour of wear it looks as if I cried the color onto my face. It all migrates to my tear ducts and then travels via fine lines under the rest of my eye… Unattractive.
Now these just collect dust. Sometimes I use then as a base to intensify an e/s, still need a primer so they don’t crease

I have this eyeliner in Plum. Gorgeous colour, goes on smooth, has okay staying power throughout the day.
The only problem is that I must avoid getting this in my eyes throughout the day. One time I was wearing this and near the end of the day I was crying-laughing and this must have went into my eyes, and the next day I had an eye infection. Sometimes without getting it in my eyes there’s still a little reaction. Just to clarify, I never line my waterline with eyeliner, and I didn’t with this eyeliner. I wear contacts plus I have sensitive eyes, so it depends on the person.
Unfortunately because of that I won’t be buying this eyeliner again.

I cannot even put into words how terrible this product is. I’ve been looking for a good inexpensive pencil liner to wear during the day–one that goes on easily, looks decent, and stays put. I currently love Marc Jacobs’ Gel Crayon eyeliners, but I find that while they look great and wear well, they get used up VERY quickly and therefore can be expensive–so I’ve been looking for a wallet-friendly alternative so I can save my MJ liners more for special occasions.
The reviews here are correct: it does go on smoothly with no tugging. It goes on like black inky Crisco, in fact, which I thought was a little strange (it was almost TOO soft and greasy) but I figured it’d “set” and stay put, like a lot of eyeliners tend to do. I typically only line my top lid next to my lashes and then add a coat or two of Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill mascara (I’m not a fan of lining my lower lid or waterline), so I was shocked that within an hour this eyeliner had worked its way on to my contact lenses and completely fogged them up. I couldn’t see! So I took my contact lenses out, rinsed them well and cleaned them up, and put them back in thinking it must be a fluke–yet within another hour it was right back on my contacts lenses. I’ve honestly never had a pencil eyeliner do this before. I don’t have oily lids (my skin tends to be insanely dry, if anything) and I used the same mascara that I’ve used for years–only thing different was this eyeliner. By the end of the night it had worked its way all around my eyes, too. I probably looked like a crazy raccoon but who actually knows, because my contacts were so fogged over I couldn’t actually see myself clearly in any mirror. Terrible, terrible, terrible. If you wear contact lenses, STEER CLEAR (or try it for a few hours at home before you leave the house to make sure it won’t transfer!). The search continues…

This eyeliner is terrific!!!! It doesn’t skip, it melts into your lash line (s) when you are applying and this seems (at least to me…) to add to the longevity of the eyeliner. I think my favorite aspect is that it doesn’t tug!!! That makes it invaluable to me because I don’t think that you should be pulling on the delicate skin in your eye area… I ve noticed people who do tug on skin in this area.. to apply eye makeup or take it off….seem to have lots more wrinkles :-/ so this makes this particular eyeliner great because it is super gentle on application and it is also easy to remove.
I will continue to repurchase again and again!!!!

I own the black liner and I mainly used this in my top waterline! It worked for a few times then I realized that it transferred onto bottom waterline. The product is so creamy that you have to sharpen every time for the next use because it goes down quickly.
Now I use it as a black base on the lids for when I’m doing a smoky eye. It’s creaminess is perfect for this!

Pros:
Extremely pigmented
Creamy
DOES NOT BUDGE
Does not bother my sensitive eyes
Cons:
Need to find the right sharpener
All in all, I am surprised at some of the negative reviews here – I am in love with this eyeliner! As someone who has very watery eyes, and oily lids, I have the worst luck with eyeliners, but this one is a dream to apply and does not run or smear at all, a FIRST for me!! I like this even better than my UD pencil eyeliners!!
