I truly like how this eye pencil applies as well as remains on. The only gripe I have with it that would not make me repurchase is the truth that it really did not last me very long. Should the longevity be boosted, I would 100% buy once again.

I did a side-by-side contrast 1 eye black of this & 1 eye black metropolitan degeneration perversion pencil. I put these both only on my top waterline (which I do daily now to offer the impression of thicker eyelashes).
After 10 hrs I noticed the eye with the L’Oreal had actually discolored to a gray, dark gray. The metropolitan decay perversion was still jet black. Although it discolored the product did stay quite well. I have contrasted a number of pencils to my holy grail metropolitan decay ones and also still have not discovered one that stays or remains dazzling as long.

I have acquired this product two times. Both crayons have just the lead that shows, you can not change it to create even more. There is the capacity to turn the lead but nothing happens. So you pay 10-12 bucks for a little item.

I did a side-by-side comparison 1 eye black of this & 1 eye black urban decay perversion pencil. I put these both only on my upper waterline (which I do daily now to give the illusion of thicker eyelashes).

I have compared several pencils to my holy grail urban decay ones and still haven’t found one that stays put or stays vivid as long.

I bought this eyeliner in gray. I’ve only used it a few days and so far, I love it.
The color is a neutral dark gray, almost charcoal, but definitely not black. It applies smoothly without tugging or skipping.
It doesn’t smudge or smear off and lasts all day until I remove it with Clinique TTDO liquid, and the Clinique removes it easily. I don’t line my waterline so I don’t know how well it lasts for that. It also doesn”t irritate my sensitive eyes at all.
For me the only downfall is that it needs sharpening; I wish it was automatic, but I’ll put up with it because I like it so much.
I’ll definitely buy again!

I’ve used this liner for months and have had not problems with it. I think liquid eyeliners look too harsh so I was glad to find a good pencil that was inexpensive. It stays on all day and never smudges. When it needs sharpening I put the liner and sharpener in the fridge for an hour and that prevents breaking. This has gotten bad reviews on Ulta because customers say it doesn’t twist easily! I can’t believe they don’t even know it’s not supposed to. If you use it daily it doesn’t last a long time but considering the price and how well it works that doesn’t bother me. I hope they come out with more colors!

I hope this is the right product. Mine says L’Oreal Infallible Longwear Eye Pencil. This is n excellent DS eyeliner. I purchased the brown, which is an exact dupe for Smashbox Always On Gel Liner in Brewed. The packaging is similar. it is a brown pencil with a black cap. You have to sharpen it but it goes on smoothly, no tugging. The colors are identical and the staying power is exactly the same. Purchased mine from Target for $7.99 USD. I have very sensitive eyes and this did not irritate them at all. I do not do the lower waterline but i do use it in the upper waterline and it does not budge. I also use it to on upper and lower lids and it stays put all day. Love it and will stock up now that I found a less expensive, easy to find dupe for my favorite eyeliner. I wish it was a twist up rather then one you have to sharpen, but so is the Smashbox one. I am very happy with this product and would recommend.

I really thought I had found a smudge proof eyeliner for my waterline, but it does eventually smudge on me.
I have deep-set eyes, and when I laugh or smile they turn into little crescents & I think that may be the issue..!
however, for most people, this will probably work.
It does have a good lasting power .. which is why I gave it 3 stars, though I certainly will not repurchase, and if I can find the receipt, I will probably return it.

This lives up to its name for me. 🙂 It held up on a hot humid day as well as during a gym workout. It really does last without smudging. I would have preferred black but this grey is dark enough to do the trick to define my eyes. It blends quite easily and goes on smoothly too.
I’d definitely get this again. It is waterproof so hard to remove. But old-fashioned baby oil works like magic! Apply with a cotton ball, let it sit a few seconds then wipe off. Works like magic!

In my constant search to find an eyeliner that can withstand my eye issues, I think I have found the one AND it doesn’t cost a fortune! Albeit, I was willing to pay a fortune for eyeliner despite that I am replacing my department store makeup with drugstore. I have tried just about every long wearing eyeliner made by man. I have severe issues with eyeliners and mascaras smudging and transfering on me. I have oily skin, dry/watery eyes, and I stare at a computer screen all day. This creates the most perfect condition for a total lower eye makeup disaster for me especially at work. While this isn’t 100% smudge proof on my lower lid while I’m at work, but it is easily corrected without messing up everything. Significantly WAY better than anything I have tried thus far!!! On the weekends, I have noticed my eyes are not as strained and therefore makeup actually holds much better. I have worn this swimming and in the shower, and it does NOT budge and looks almost as good as when I applied it. This eyeliner paired with a tubing mascara has been a miracle for me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
EDIT: With a lot of experimenting, I have learned how to make this near smudge proof. I have very difficult eyes however using Canmake primer, Nars matte concealer, and powder applied with a damp beauty blender.
THE SHARPENING ISSUE: SOLVED BY BUYING A L’OREAL SHARPENER

This pencil eyeliner does everything right for me.
I’ve been looking for a black liner to line *only* my upper waterline with. All the other ones I’ve tried thus far have transferred to my lower waterline as well within a few minutes of wear (this is something little that drives me crazy because I feel like it makes my eyes look smaller). I always avoid kohl eyeliners as they smudge on me.
This liner sits put on my upper waterline and does not transfer at allll. It’s very very creamy and does not tug and is also very pigmented.
It’s lasted me through 12+ hours of wear with no sign of smudging. It has passed the gym test, cry test, and contact-wearing test.
It is pretty pricey for a drugstore eyeliner (9CAD before tax) but I do believe it’s worth it and I will continue to repurchase.
EDIT: It’s been a few months since I’ve been using the pencil and I’ve noticed that it has started to dry out, despite regular sharpening. I now have to warm up the tip of the pencil on my palm by pressing it down for a few seconds, then apply on my waterline or else it won’t come out as pigmented. Not a deal-breaker, but something I thought was worth mentioning.
