This has the BEST brush! Has individual hairs similar to Kat Von D but thicker. Flexible and doesn’t fray over time (Stila!). Doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes (Master Precise Liquid Liners!). I can get a thin line but not the ultra precise thinnest line. The colour is a greyish black with a slightly shiny finish. Not the blackest of black for drama looks, but I love it for everyday wear. Watery formula feathers up into tiny lines and runs into the inner corners a tiny bit when its new, but a couple of weeks in I notice this stopped happening. I do have mature eyes so youthful eyes may not experience this 🙂 Along with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner (thinnest sharpest line, does not feather) this is my favorite liner!

This used to be my hg would last all day jet black full of pigment and would last me 6 months with everyday use when I ran out I bought a new one and am beyond disappointed.
When I went to use it I primed a few strokes on the back of my hand to get the color flowing but it was watery and more of a grey/brown and when I applied it to my lid it didn’t look black and was so watery it bled into my eyeshadow and created a messy line it was like trying to do eye liner with a watercolor.
Will be returning it and won’t be buying again.

This eyeliner is my HG. I’m hopeless when it comes to wing liner. This liner helped me tremendously to create sharp wings. I can use the thick side to fill in and thin side for the flick. It’s black (not as black as Stila but pigmented enough). It doesn’t smudge, doesn’t irritate my eyes (wearing contacts) and long wearing. I prefer this to Stila as Stila’s brush feels more coarse, irritating my lid when I draw on it. Maybelline brush is softer yet firm to draw precise line.
The reviewer below me probably got a dud. I have mine more about a year and still going strong. Love it!

I’m glad I decided to buy this product when it was on sale at half price, because I pretty much only got two uses out of it and I’m so disappointed.
I liked it a lot at first. Thin and precise and created a decent dark line. Then one time, I wanted to touch up my eyeliner after a long day and I swiped it across a tiny exposed patch of dried false-eyelash glue (note: ALREADY DRIED for several hours, not new/wet glue) and the eyeliner just stopped working. The ink started to come out streaky, and then eventually stopped coming out altogether. I had no choice but to put it in the trash after only using it twice or so.
I’ve bought cheap, unbranded bargain bin $3 liquid eyeliners that I’ve swiped over little patches of exposed false-eyelash glue on a regular basis, AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, and none of them ever had this problem. In fact, literally all of them lived a long life, whereas this product didn’t.
This product may be more suited to people who don’t wear false lashes. However, I do like to wear them on a regular basis (and my Kat Von D tattoo liner is a godsend) so I won’t be repurchasing.
