On the search for my HG eyeliner I purchased this because guru’s compared it to Urban Decay’s 24/7 pencil. I have oily, Asian hooded eyelids so liners tend to run, smudge, or disappear. I try several new products here and there but for about a year now this has been my absolute favorite. It glides on fairly easy and lasts most of the day. Around 7 pm or so it starts to smudge but that’s a lot later than others I’ve tried. With Urban Decay Primer Potion it lasts even longer. Waterproof liquid, Almay pencils, even Bobbi Brown Long Wear gel liner fell short. LOVE this pencil.

LOVE the intensity of the black- it’s very deep. Has a muted metallic shimmer, not garish.
However, this pencil is so smudgy and the product will not stick. Will not buy again simply because it needs so much upkeep (the time spent fixing after initial application).

Such a love/hate relationship with this eyeliner! It is a exotic deep black that glides on like butter. Very dramatic, very sexy… HOWEVER putting it on I got it all over my fingers and eye, which has never happened before. After I had finished and cleaned up, I looked in the mirror, and somehow I had eyeliner all around my eye! No idea what ingredients are in this that make it so super messy! I am 29 years old, so I am not an inexperienced make-up wearer. I love the texture and color, but I can’t handle the mess! So sad about this! Maybe the other colors aren’t as messy…?
