This is a little on the expensive side for Covergirl, but drugstore is climbing up that pricing ladder. Baring the old staples, most drugstore items are getting more expensive. Thankfully, their quality has increased with it.
I bought this in Black Vinyl. It is a shiny black, very opaque. It is a thin liquid however, so if you do not have enough product on your lash line it will look as though it cracked and separated. I have found that you can apply more product over itself without it erasing the old product—However the first layer MUST be dry or you will lift the old layer.
There is no conceivable way that a company could make a “lasts through anything” product that was still able to be removed with soap and water. I actually prefer these more easily removable products; I do not enjoy scrubbing my lash line and ripping my eyelashes out trying to remove cosmetics. This product lasts well enough that it gets me through the day or my events and it is easy to remove when I’m done.

For drugstore, inexpensive eye liner this is pretty good. I have this in matte black which does dry to a nice matte black. I would call this more water resistant than waterproof. IThis has a fine brush applicator. I really need my eyeliner to be waterproof, so will keep using Tarte Maneater eye liner.

I would not buy this again. It’s not waterproof. It says that it washes off w “soap & water” so despite its hefty price tag I will stick w MAC Liquidlast that stuff lasts thru the apocalypse. I do like the packaging the brush is so fine & I like the feel of the handle but for shading in the wing it’s too fine. My biggest gripe it isn’t WP buy it says no where on the packaging that it’s WP so I didn’t kno what to expect. My eyes are extremely watery/Rheumy so WP is essential for me. Water resistant doesn’t even do it for me but like I. Said it doesn’t claim to be WP/WR. Still disappointing….

This is THE best liquid eyeliner I have ever used.
It dries down to a completely matte finish and is very waterproof (I wear contact lenses and am prone to getting watery eyes). It lasts long, long days without smudging or flaking off. I own it in “Bold Brown” and “Major Matte Black”, they are so intensely pigmented with just one swipe.
The tip is marketed to be a 0.1mm feather-fine tip, true to its claim as I find that I can get a very sharp wing and thin lines very easily. It’s just as easy to build up a thicker line because of the pigmentation of the product, you don’t have to constantly go over your liner to get it super dark.
This has replaced my previous HG Kat von D tattoo liner. It’s cheaper (!!!), more matte (my preference) and more pigmented.
I’m so impressed and will continue to purchase.
