Fantastic eyeliner. Does not budge once it sets. I use it to line my upper waterline and it doesn’t fade away like others!

This pencil swatched lovelyyyy on my hand in the store… but never ever I could get a decent application on my eyelid! Moreover it was a pain to sharpen it. In the trash it went.

I really liked this when I first bought it (in cocoa bean). It’s a twist up gel pencil. Sure, the line was thick, but it went on pretty smooth and creamy and stayed put.
Over time the formula became really sticky, tugged on my lids, and flaked off. I had to destash it even though there was a lot of product left. This formula seems nice when nre but doesn’t have great shelf life.

This is $3 eyeliner. I had to try it because of price and being waterproof. It stays in place all day and does not budge and is very black. It is very hard to find a very dark black eyeliner, Revlon Colorstay makes a great eyeliner, but at double the price, Essence it is.
I tried it on my waterline and it burns! My eyes were on fire, but on my lid, no problem. Keep that in mind if you have sensitive skin.
The tip does become blunt. You need to work on it to stay thin.

the eyeliner is okay. I’ve used better options. it is not as creamy as I want but it works and it is waterproof

hideous. i read n saw reviews that said how creamy this is when in fact it is so tough it scratches your eyes. the product doesnt translate smoothly and likes clumpy liner bits everywhere. doesnt even apply to the waterline and tightline. do not buy this its a waste of cash

I bought the gray/charcoal shade. The liner is wider than I would prefer, but I thought it would work out, and planned on smudging it, and also smoking it out.
It drew a very obvious line on my eyelid, and I was unable to smudge it out. Tight lining it was impossible, very difficult to achieve because of the width, and just how it applies to the eye.
I haven’t tried out an eyeliner this bad in a long time.

I bought this in Urban Jungle which is a (dark green) and Cocoa Bean (warm brown). I wanted to experiment with different color eyeliners but didn’t feel like shelling out 20+ on UD only to never use it.
My eyes are green, very oily lids and face (i always wear eye shadow primer or everything transfers to my brow bone, even if it’s just a milani eye shadow primer, it helps.)
Pros:
Stays put on waterline
Does not transfer with primer
Cheap af
Cons:
Lack of shades
Can become blunt as you can’t sharpen it (twist up)
Dries fast/hard to smudge
When applying, they aren’t the easiest to smudge, you have to work fast and in little sections, but when they are on, they stay put. I’m not sure what else you can ask for at this price point, I am actually going to head out to buy black today and will update after I try it this weekend.

This pencil compares to most high end gel pencils such as Urban Decay and glides on easily. The staying power is decent (smudges after 4 hours on my lower line). I have repurchased this around 8x but stopped repurchasing because I find that the black is not dark enough. The color is more of a soft black and I prefer rich deep blacks, so I have switched back to my favorite YSL pencil liner which is ultra black. As well, because this is a twistup liner, the point eventually gets worn and the line becomes very thick. However, this only costs $3 cad and you cant go wrong with that. It’s great to get as an inexpensive backup.

Admittedly, I haven’t used this for very long, so I don’t know how well it will perform when it has to be twisted up (some reviews say it loses its point permanently).
But I can say that this glides on beautifully, and stays on my waterline for a long time. It also stays on my lid without smudging, but I do have dry skin so I don’t know if it will perform the same for those with oily skin.
If it continues to be great, I will keep buying it over and over again. The price can’t be beat. 🙂
