I really like this eyeliner! I have repurchased several times. Only thing I do not like is that there is not a lot of product – so i have to keep repurchasing 🙁

I am really impressed with this eyeliner. I have trouble finding eyeliners that will last on my oily lids (UD 24/7 are really the only other ones that mostly do). And I always look for an e/l that can give a subtle effect without screaming “eyeliner!” and this product does that given its narrow size. I found it applied smoothly without any tugging or skipping, or anything else that stresses me out when applying e/l lol. I just couldn’t believe that eight hours later it had barely budged. I’m definitely going to be buying more of these.

I really liked this on the waterline.(Its also great to get into gaps of ur lashline after you put on falsies). Its creamy but stays put for the most part. it can transfer a little on the lower lashline from the upper lashline ifyou tightline. I got oily lids and nothing seem to work besides this and my nars larger than life.
Def try it out but the price is very high. The regular is only 0.10g and nars larger than life is 0.58g for about the same price. so the marc jacobs is a very nice thin liner with a great formula but im not sure if its worth the price tag. So get the giftset of 3 items for 25 at sephora i think thats a way better deal than getting the full size. Id def opt out for the minis!
edit- i just repurchased this for the sale! i love the fine point and how it lasts and fills in the gaps of my lashes but it still does smudge when its really humid outside.

Would give it five stars if it didn’t transfer on my slightly hooded lids, but all in all fabulous little liner.
If you like Highliners, but wanted something a little bit more precise – try it. I love using this liner for an easy kitten flick, it almost feels like a gel liner but in a pencil form. It dries down relatively fast, but gives enough playtime to fix any edges (if you have made a mistake per say).
Colour is pigmented, I love the slim design and precise applicator. You can read more about it in a separate review here, same as about Marc’s Highliners ( Hope this helped somehow!

Okay,
so my review is for the Marc Jacobs ultra skinny gel eye liner in the colour truffle (dark brown.)
Not the small original gel eye liner than comes with the points perk, or sold in the minny packs. I think a lot of the reviews here have been for the original gel crayon.
While i really liked the original, i wasn’t always using it for tight-lining my eye lids, more as a traditional eyeliner. That one does stay on all day, and the colour black is really intense. I wanted to purchase a large size when it ran out, but i as tossing between the Marc Jacobs, and an hourglass one. I would have chosen the hourglass one as it came in a dark grey colour, but the
sephora lady put me onto the Marc Jacobs ultra skinny gel eye liner, after i explained how i wanted an eyeliner with a finer tip, that gave a more precise line .Being heavy handed, i found the original a little harder to control as it goes on super easily, but really thick.
I also chose the colour truffle as its in between a black/brown. Once on, and mascara also applied, it just looks like a softer black colour, and is super easy to use. It gives a fine line and doesn’t smudge once dry.
I will be repurchasing once i run out. It ever needs sharpening, and not overly priced considering the quality.
For those of you who like a softer more precise liner, i highly recommend this one from Marc Jacobs.

This review is for the Blacquer-Berry, a beautiful blackened berry that doesn’t look as harsh as a black liner, but not as purple as a regular berry one.
I love the way it applies, so smooth and it really makes lining my eyes a breeze. It glides so effortlessly and without any tugging, it’s so close to replacing my trusty PF Eye Boost. The price is not that much higher either, because PF charges an arm and a leg here in Canada.
And the lasting power…omg it lasts and lasts! I had trouble removing it with my regular eye makeup remover, I still had traces of it throughout the following day! (I know, not very healthy lol).
One minus for me is that I found it irritated my eyes, they were red and watery for a couple days afterwards. I had this exact same problem with MJ’s other e/l – the Highliner in Black, but for whatever reason my sensitivity to that subsided, so I’m hoping the same will happen with this product.
I think it’s worth the money, and had I been richer I would buy other shades too lol.

I got this as a Sephora reward sample. It works exactly like the Hourglass eyeliner. I love the fine tip and how it doesn’t smudge or give me racoon eyes. My only problem with it is that it doesn’t retract the eyeliner, so you must only twist up what you need.
I’ll definitely be buying the full size.

This is an okay eyeliner, but not quite what I wanted. I’ve been using black liquid liner forever (since I was 16…) and tried so many brands. I got this as a Sephora birthday sample and loved it enough that I bought the full size. Using the full size, I find that the formula tends to dry out. It goes on a bit watery and needs one to two “going over”. By the time you make a cat eye, you have to recharge the liner. It goes on shiny (as advertised) but I didn’t like the look. That’s mainly my preference. I work long days and a lot of times it has worn off by the end of the day. I like a lot of MJ products and this one is a bit underwhelming, considering you have better performance from drugstore Maybelline or L’Oreal. I didn’t repurchase – got the MJ pencil liner instead. Great in the sample size as a travel liner (and beautiful elegant packaging I might add) but wouldn’t buy full size.

Best eyeliner I have ever used. It doesn’t smudge or wear off. The colour is true black and its easy to apply. I would definitely repurchase.

Best eyeliner! True black, stays put from 8AM until 9PM including a spin workout. My brown eyes sparkle with this eyeliner. However, very expensive for the amount of product. I have to buy two at a time. For me it last exactly a month and 2 days….haha! yes I tracked it. But it is soooooo good that I keep buying it. I heard that Maybelline skinny pencil (pink) is a dupe. Will have to try.
