Horrible product. Crappy materials that were not smooth to apply at all, really patchy application all over the eyelid, and the blending tool was useless, just smearing it rather than blending!
I also got some mild-to-moderate eye irritation, which was just the cherry on top.
This product belongs in the bin.

I thought this would be a really cute thing to try on my eyes because I really never do a smoky eye because they just aren’t my thing. But finding this at my local dollar tree I said what the heck and grabbed the shade in smoldering violet. I see why this product was discontinued. I didnt even wear it out of the house because It just would not cooperate with anything. 1. You can’t sharpen it because it becomes too big to use for a whole lot. 2. The color transfer is horrible. It goes on patchy and uneven. 3. It’s supposed to smudge and blend with the smudger, but really all it does is wipe away the color. The color itself was really pigmented and pretty though.

I bought this in smoldering violet, and I like it..It’s easy to apply, can be used as shadow or liner and gives my eyes a sultry smoky look. This color looks great with green eyes. When I run out I’ll probably try some of the other shades. It stayed on all day without a primer and that’s definitely a plus.

I found these at Dollar Tree in the blue and purple shades, and for a buck apiece, I thought, why not? Well, the colors are pretty. They don’t really apply that evenly, however, and you’d think, well, I can fix it with the other end’s blending tip. Not quite. On me it smudges a lot of the eyeliner off. Still, they’ll work well with regular eyeshadows or to add a bit of color to a black base (or as a base with a bit of black added on top.) Nice effort by Maybelline, but it’s not quite there.

This product was such a let down. The color payoff was nice but everything else sucked. You can’t really smudge this with the smudge tip because it just erases the color. Also it’s not very long wearing either it smudges very easily on it’s own. It’s not a nice smudge either. You think you’ll end up with sexy smokey bedroom eyes but it just looks like you fell in a pool and smudged your eyes everywhere. The only thing i like this for is using it as a base for dark eyeshadows. Good thing they were only a dollar at dollar tree. I would never buy this full price.

Pros: you can smudge it, wear it as eyeshadow, lasts all day
Cons: you cannot sharpen it and the tip gets dull
Also i got violet, and its a smoky plum/purple, i wish i got black instead.

I got this at my local dollar tree yesterday, the shade I got it in is Emerald Fury and its like a grey green color, but I was hoping it would actually be more of a green emerald shade like the name.I have green eyes and emerald shades match them perfectly.Maybe the reason everyone is giving them bad reviews is because they have higher expectations about the color. But this is “Master Smoky” so it is darker because of a smoky eye I’m guessing.I like it.

I actually found this at dolar tree, so i decided to try it. I like it, it goes on smooth and blends good. I will buy this again

Got this to try purely for the smudging tip. Absolute waste of money. I do a better job with my finger! The formula makes my eyelids and lashes feel like they’re sticking together. Really crap sponge/smudger tip THING. I got a better result with my Jordana mechanical pencil liner which was… $3? If that.

Meh. Nice consistency and decent color payoff, BUT it was already smudging and wearing off by the time I finished putting on my mascara. Completely unimpressed.
