Once upon a time I used white eyeliner on my lower waterline. It gets red with lack of sleep, and who actually gets enough sleep? Realizing that a bright white stripe looks just as bad as the red, I stopped using it. But this eyeliner covers the red and looks natural. A staple for me, because I still never get enough sleep.

This is an amazing product. The color is a mix between beige and muted peach and I think it would work well on most skin tones. If you apply it correctly it really wakes up your eye area–the trick is to just line a little bit of the inner corners and not go too overboard. The effect is subtle and amazing. Because it’s not white, the natural result does a lot to counter any dark circles you might have under your eues. Love it!

Remember when that whole white eyeliner in the waterline bit was the craze? Yeah, never followed that trend, thankfully. Why? because unless done 110% correctly, it looked wack on nearly every female out there attempting it. Baby eyes is doEP. Super good neutral fleshy shade made specifically for brightening the waterline i.e. getting rid of that horrific redness that lack of sleep, sanity, and day to day traumas life hands you. I’ve always always always lightened my bottom waterline, mainly because I suffer from the redness, and merely since, I’ve just done it, habitually, for quite some time. Enough complaints about the softness of this pencil, it shouldn’t be a kohl texture, if it was it would look too chalky, built up, and gnarly. SPECIFICALLY life Stila’s Kajal Liner in Topaz. Topaz was my backup because I’d dwindled down my Baby Eyes, to no redemption. And when at Sephora, with no Paula Dorf in sight, one must make due with what offered. Stila’s Topaz, I believe was meant to do the same effect, however, the color is more off than on, meaning it gives off a rather noticeably unnatural peachyness to it. And I found I had to apply, then buff out to get desired effect. With Baby eyes, because the actual pencil is slightly more stiff, you don’t have the problem of possibly over applying, because it truly glides on smooth and with the right amount of color placement. This puppy is a daily go-to for me, never leaves my cosmetic bag, not a day of makeup application without it. It’s one of those, so good to me, and so reliable, and so effing abused, I totally look over the sheer greatness of it. VIOLÅ!
