I understand all the negative reviews of this eyeliner, but I think it depends on how you use it. I have super oily eyelids and very few eyeliners stay put for the day. This works fine, if you only use it for the wing. I do the inner parts of my liner with the Essence Gel Pencil Liner, and part of the wing, then I make it darker and sharper with this. It works great and it stays all day. It’s even hard to take off. Using this for the wing is awesome because of the super fine up. I love how easy it is to apply. Takes forever to run out as well, just store it with the tip facing down. I tried it on my eyelid one time and it went everywhere. It is terrible for that purpose. So it really depends on how it is being used. Overall, I recommend this if you don’t mind using two liners. I find it works better than one.

Where to start? Probably this review was going to be neutral to positive if it wasn’t last night… The description says: ‘Waterproof eyeliner pen for a precise line.Long-lasting. Smudge-proof.’ Ummm Waterproof? SMUDGE-PROOF??? Lies! I went to a party last night and since I was using this eyeliner for a week everyday, I decided to try it out, because it is quite easy to apply and the pigmentation is fairly good. BIG MISTAKE ! Couple of hours at the party later, I went to the bathroom and I was speachless.. Both of my eyelids were black and smudged like I have been rubbed my eyes the whole night. Honestly, I am crazy about eyeliners and I have never come across to a disaster like this. Most of my eyeliners are NOT waterproof and they never do what this smudge-proof whatever product did! The price is pretty low, but it’s still a waste of money.

Some ingredient in this pen discoloured my contact lenses – they turned pink. The first time it happened, I had no idea why. The second time, I realized it was the eyeliner doing it. Lost two pairs. Avoid if you have contact lenses.

This was terrible – the claim “waterproof” is a joke! I couldn’t believe how bad it was. Then I came online and read these reviews and was happy to know it wasn’t me. Even though it was just a few dollars, I felt like it was a waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, ever.

It doesn’t give a blackest black line. Doesn’t always come out in an even consistency. Price is good.

I love Essence products, but this eyeliner is just alright. The pen runs out of product very quickly, so I have to work fast when I use it. It does last quite a long time but when I take it off there is always a stain left on my eyelids. I do like that the felt tip is sturdy though, so I will continue to use it until it dries out.

I love how it goes on smooth, but it’s defiantly not waterproof. After wearing this for extended periods of time I end up looking like a raccoon! Not my best eyeliner that’s for sure!

This eyeliner is really great for days when I know I’m going to be out for a long time. It doesn’t budge or fade throughout the day. Although I did notice for some reason when I lay down it will sometimes travel to my under eye. But if I’m out and about that has never happened. I do notice a staining effect of the liner. When I wash my makeup off I can still see a faded line but with a qtip and waterproof makeup remover I was able to get it completely off. I think for the price it’s the best felt tip liner in the drugstore.

The worst eyeliner ever! The price is really good and you really get what you paid. It is a waterproof eyeliner and the colour is really dark. But when you try to remove it, it stained my eye leaving my eye area grey. Even the best make-up remover would not remove it.

Waste of time and money. Took forever to get a line with consistent pigment and still wasn’t very dark. I threw it away after that first use.
