This eyeliner came in a subscription box and I hate it. As much as I wanted to love it because I need a black eyeliner, this ‘pen’ is way too soft. It gets everywhere including your hand. Once you apply, it doesn’t stay put and soon bleeds into your upper and lower lids. It might be fine on your waterline but with my eyes, the color fades and moves into a ball in the inner corners. In addition, it is difficult to sharpen. The other reviews say to buy a special Pixie sharpener for $6 but why bother? Just get an eye pencil for less that doesn’t need anything special to go with it.

This is a very black liner that applies smoothly and stays put on me. It blends easily for a few seconds and then sets.

I had a mini of this eyeliner and used it up- I really liked it. It truly does give a “liquid liner” look. Even though it is a pencil I think the “pen” name is appropriate, because it applies much smoother and creamier than other pencils. It’s a deep, rich, matte black which I love. If you like a “grungier” look, it is easy to smudge with a finger or a brush. This same feature makes it a little more prone to crease/eyelid transfer than some other products, but this can be minimized if you wear powder eyeshadow or loose powder on your lids. But I wouldn’t suggest pairing this eyeliner with cream shadows or a bare lid because it would probably transfer and smudge. That said, I did find that the eyeliner stayed in place all day with minimal fading, even if I drew a little wing.
I have a real problem with products you have to sharpen, unless I’m paying $5 or less. It just wastes so much product and causes me intense psychological pain. Since this is a pricey product, I’m not sure I can justify buying it regularly since it needs sharpening. The Marc Jacobs eyeliners are similar and don’t require sharpening.
Mind you, I just ran across the Endless Silky Eye Pen (in a dark grey shade) for $1 at a local bargain sale. For that price, I was happy to pick it up and enjoy this formula again.

I received this in one of my ipsy packages. I used it with great expectations: glides right on, good pigment.
It smeared. Terribly.
I would advise that you save your money 🙁

To date this is my favorite eyeliner.
PROS:
-very silky, smooth formula. eyeliner glides on like a dream (it’s almost a gel)
-no tugging anywhere since the eyeliner is so soft
-intensely pigmented
-easy to smudge
-long lasting – eyeliner stays put (even when smudged) with minimal smudging at the end of the day
Cons
-can’t think of any. It’s a great eyeliner for a good price

AMAZING BUT WORST NIGHTMARE. This is an amazing product. I tightlined my top lid with this and its amazing doesn’t smudge and stays put. However, I have had horrendous trouble with the fact that I’m a contact lens wearer. I thought it was just me and my eyes were playing up but having read other reviews I can now see I’m not going mad and that its the eyeliners transferring onto the lens, which is why I’m constantly seeing through a thick fog!!! I’m GUTTED these are so amazing and smooth and easy to put on but I’m going to have to call it quits. Need a replacement option pronto.

OK, so I’m constantly on the lookout for eyeliner that is black, and will stay on the waterline of my eye. I’ve tried a lot! My BIGGEST issue is I am a contact wearer…which means my eyes water more than non-contact wearers, and I have to be careful of what product to use because if product is too greasy it ends up on my contacts….this product ended up on my contacts! It was so bad that I had to throw my contacts out! I could not get the greasy film off.
This product is super silky smooth and goes on VERY dark, but I can’t keep it on my waterline, and I can’t wear it again because it doesn’t agree with my contacts. SOOO disappointed.

This is an okay eyeliner. It is veeery black. Very pigmented. Glides on smoothly. It was pretty pricey. I find that I rarely use this because it is so black. The packaging is really cute and such. Sadly, I won’t be repurchasing but I will use the rest of the stick.

Love it! For those having trouble sharpening, put it in the fridge for half an hour beforehand.

I was really excited about this eyeliner, but after using it, I have mixed feelings. This eyeliner has great pigment, it easily glides on, and it lasts all day without smudging. Sadly, the pencil is difficult to sharpen and a lot of the product is wasted in the process. Because of sharpening difficulties, I used up this pencil faster than any other eyeliner I have worn. I figure instead of paying $14 for this, I should just pay $18 for a Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencil since it does not have sharpening issues.
EDIT: After purchasing and using the pencil sharpener from Urban Decay, I have found that this eyeliner will not break as easily. I was formally using a cheaper pencil sharpener, so I was losing quite a bit of product. I added 2 lippies because of this resolved sharpening issue. Since the formula is great, I really felt more compelled to add this edit.
