I love products that are supposed to make eyes look brighter and more awake. I already gave a holy grail highlighter/waterline brightener/liner, I actually have several in different shades of beige abs different finishes… but I cabby resist trying another.
I hunted for this for a while before I finally found a Target that had it in stock. I think the gold packaging looks elegant and it’s shape is meant to duplicate authentic kohls with its cone shape.
It was a bit pricey… around $9. For what you get plus the quality that’s simply too much.
The shade is a cream color… slightly yellowish off white. I doubt it would work universally. In fact it’s a bit too yellow for me.
But the biggest problem is the texture is just terrible. It’s this weird waxy dry cream that does not glide into skin. It won’t transfer to my waterline at all… but bits of it will stick to my lower lashes so I can have funky chunks of yellow waxiness stuck in them.
Ok so it didn’t work for my intended purpose… I thought I could use it perhaps as a highlighter for inner corners or even browbone. Wrong again. It looks like I spread yellow wax in my skin… when I blend it it simply disappears.
The intention behind this product was good but sadly they formula makes it unusable for me. I can’t find a single use for it where it works.

I bought this to use on my waterline and inner corners to brighten up my eyes. There are several things I really like about this. First, it is off-white which looks more natural than bright white for daily wear. Especially with a nude smoky eye. Second, it has amazing staying power on my waterline. It lasts most of the day which is outstanding. Third, the packaging is pretty. The gold handle is lovely and the construction of the pencil is really unique. That said, I’m not quite sure how this is going to hold up once I use it down a bit. The pencil isn’t retractable and it’s an odd shape to try and sharpen. All the product is what you see visible under the clear cap. I have been using this for a few months and haven’t had to sharpen it but we’ll see when it gets down to the fatter part of the pencil. This wasn’t very expensive though, so I’d probably re-purchase even if it doesn’t wear down nicely.

Rubs off too easy on my greasy skin. Love that it’s sold at Target
