i used to use this eyeliner exclusively when i first started wearing liner. in hindsight, i can’t believe i put up with it for so long! i remember i loved how cost effective it was to buy a pot of this stuff – one pot would easily last me a year with near-daily use. but it was so oily and smeary on me, and it always transferred to my lids no matter how well i set them with powder in the morning. it might be worth trying if you have drier skin, but if you’re oily, it’s not worth it!

I got the shade Teal Tease, which is the elf blue cream eyeliner I do think that black is a little boring, and I have so many blacks, wanted to bring some color in my life ????
I am using the Elf brush which comes with the product and I have to say that the brush is awesome woow! I am gobsmacked, at first I thought that it was rubbish but because I have had some experience with it I knew how to handle It. It works, I can’t understand the other negative reviews about the brush, of course a professional brush is working better but for this price unbeatable!
I honestly find them comparable to MAC’s Fluidlines or even better! It’s absolutely phenomenal!
It didn’t smudge or flake at all. I am not sure if this is a good sign, sometimes I think it comes with a cost so it will depend on the ingredients, Mac might use ingredients that are better for the skin… But it depends for what you are using it for, if you are on stage and not using it all the time I think it won’t matter…
Cons:
– I am in the tropics and the humidity is high, and I read online that some are drying out pretty quick, I did not had that experience yet but I can imagine if you are in a dry climate and if you are not closing It right away which you should do anyway it might be true, don’t claim me on that.

I purchased this product to replace liquid liner since I haven’t had much luck with it. I can say that I am amazed by the staying power! I often fall asleep during the day after work and this does not even budge. I have cried while wearing this product and you wouldn’t have been able to tell! I do not find removal to be any difficult than any other eye product. I have been using the same pot for the past three months and there is still about half a pot left. I use it everyday for a bold cat eye and my eyebrows. One of the downsides to this product is that it is not, with the first stroke, fully black. After a second coat, however, it is quite black. The only other issue I have with the formula is how it sometimes clumps up on my brush, which is probably due to it starting to dry out a bit. For $4 I am satisfied with my purchase.
Pros:
-tear proof
-longlasting/sleep proof
-not difficult to remove
Cons:
-not true black on first swipe
-sometimes clumps up on brush

The only thing I like about this liner is the price. Other than that, everything about this sucks. It dries up almost immediately after opening which means you can get it on a brush unless you jab it in and dig it out (that came out a lot dirtier sounding than I intended, w/e). then, if you have managed to get any product onto your liner brush, it will just fall off in small crumbles of disappointment. I seem to be in the minority here that doesn’t like this but I’m juts giving *my* personal experience.

This is awesome! I got it in a shade coffee and I like it the same as my MAC Fluidline and way better than Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner. Just toss away the brush it comes with and I promise you will be impressed.
It has very soft cream like formula, it’s very pigmented, even more pigmented than MAC or Bobbi Brown. It stays well put (same as MAC, way better than Bobbi Brown). It doesn’t transfer to the lower lash line when used on the waterline. It doesn’t dry out for months.
Awesome product and 3$ price is unbeatable.
I personally won’t buy it again only because it slightly irritates my sensitive eyes (almost everything does).

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Got started on Stila Smudgepots, but they were too expensive. I find this to work just as well. It really lasts and you can make a really dark line. Maybelline also makes a good dupe for the Smudgepots.

This is really good especially for the price. It’s a pretty good amount of product too, I find a little goes a long way. The product is very pigmented and not gray or thin. It goes on pretty smooth although sometimes it’s hard to get a nice line if you have a lot of shadow around the area. It lasts all day on me (and I have extremely oily eyelids) , but sometimes it transfers to the top lid after 6+ hours. Also the brush isn’t very good. It can be hard to remove.

I cannot believe the quality of this $3 eyeliner. It is amazingly pigmented, it lasts all day, and it glides right on. This is only the second gel liner I have ever tried, but I’m in love with it. I was very surprised to see how black this is; it is as black as I would expect a department store product to be. It doesn’t chip or flake. I’m beyond happy with this product, and I will repurchase once I run out.

This is a great dupe for Maybelline’s gel eyeliner, it one is just as pigmented and lasts just as long. It is so cheap and works perfectly, I would highly recommend it, although the brush that comes with it isn’t that good you can just use one you prefer.

The plastic brush is rubbish but the eyeliner itself is actually great – dries quickly, no smell.
I have slightly watery eyes and the eyeliner did run during the day but might be fine for people who don’t have watery eyes.
