I bought this in Mulberry to match the burgundy L’Oreal Voluminous I’d gotten to change things up this fall/winter. Normally Revlon products are disastrous for me (and have been since I first tried them in the 70s), but this is not bad, relatively speaking. The shade is more brown that reddish, and the roller component is surprisingly sturdy and well made. Yes, there is a learning curve with this, but after using it a couple of uses, I got the hang of it. I find that running the roller on the back of my hand once or twice before applying helps enormously by removing excess liner (which will end up glopping up the base of your lashes). Angle it down, use a light hand, and roll it right along your lashline. Boom–a straight line at the base of your lashes, although I can’t imagine doing anything like a winged liner with it. It sets quickly, it’s easy to adjust the thickness of the line by the amount of pressure you apply, and looks great, but this is for short-time use only as it tends to peel off in a strip (try it on your hand). I haven’t worn it for a full day so I can’t complain, but I can’t imagine this working on hooded lids or lasting a full day. If you really want to try this for fun and you can get it at a good price, I’d say go for it. But if you need it to stand up to a full day’s activity, you’d be better off with another liner. I’ll use it a while longer, but I would not repurchase.

Bummer product! The liner itself is pretty nice, but the applicator is awful. The pizza wheel applicator is awkward to maneuver into place without my eyelashes getting into the way. I’m relatively adept with liquid eyeliner, I had a hard time getting it to line right at the base of my lashline. I gave up pretty quickly and grabbed a fine tipped eyeliner brush and used that to apply the liner instead, which isn’t ideal, but much better than using the stupid wheel. The liner itself is pretty lovely. I bought the shade Mulberry which is a warm, metallic plum. I’ve been looking for a shade like this for ages, but plum liquid liners are surprisingly hard to come by! So long as you remember to shake the liner up before use, it has plenty of pigment. It delivers opaque color with one swipe. The liner sets quickly and stay on all day. It doesn’t smudge or flake.
Since I don’t have another color like this, I’ll keep using it and may even repurchase. The wiper inside the packaging is wide enough that I can use my own brushes with it which is the only thing stopping me from trying to return this. If I had to rely on the wheel brush, it’d be going back. Someday I hope Revlon ditches the awkward, gimmicky brush and releases this Mulberry shade with a normal liquid liner brush. Because it’s a pretty lovely color and I’d definitely make it a part of my regular makeup rotation if using it wasn’t such a drag!

The application is the WORST even though I tried SOOOOO hard to like it and to master it! It just didn’t work for me. It was entertaining to try and got me inspired to play with eyeliner.
The liner lasted great on my greasy lids, staying beautiful and black and in place all day. I wouldn’t recommend this one, but I would be interested in trying out this formula with a regular brush.

Why, oh why did I get sucked into buying this. Sure it looks great swatched on my hand, lovely straight precise line of colour. But, my eyelid isn’t straight and I just can’t get it to work on me. On the rare occasion I can get it to work around the angles of my eye, it looks , well ok, but more often than not it looks like I used my non dominant hand to apply. A real fail for me,I’m afraid!

I am trying to improve my skills with eye makeup and was excited to try this. I am generally a big fan of Revlon products for their quality and price point. I bought in the mulberry shade, which is a lovely purplish-brown. I thought the little wheel applicator was pretty easy to use. I apply eyeliner directly above my upper lashes and below my lower lashes, not actually on the eyelid rims. This makes a very thin, precise line, which may not be best for me since I am older and a softer look is better. However, I can use a pencil to add some smudginess, so that is doable. When I wore it for a 12 hour shift, however, I noticed that it flaked off a bit in a few spots, which looked weird. I will keep trying this out, but not sure if I would repurchase.
Edit: I now hate this stuff. It is very thin and watery and leaks into my eyes, which stings. Leaves very little color after applying. I still love the mulberry but tossing this.

I’ve been wearing makeup for 12 years & this liner is the only way I can get a straight beautiful eyeliner!! I absolutely love this, it’s so easy to use & stays on all night!

I love black eyeliner, it’s been “my thing” since high school. I’ve used pencils, gels and liquid. As I’ve gotten older and more experienced I have relied on liquid more and more for ease and color.
I got this in Intense Black and it’s not a misnomer. The color is very opaque.
I need more practice at this, with the wheel on the end of it. When I’m on point, it looks beyond awesome. Crisp, clean lines, easy flick. When I’m not on point…
It’s a disaster if my eyelid twitches. It stays forever, which is great when I’m on point, but when I have to try and remove, it’s a pain. Also it dries fast, making it hard to try to smudge your mistakes into something okay looking.
I might rebuy if I get better at this. It’s all user error at this point, but the difficulty is high!

I’m always on the lookout for good burgundy or eggplant-colored eyeliners to try, so when I saw Revlon included a shimmery burgundy called Mulberry in this line, I went straight to Ulta and grabbed it. The concept behind the tiny pizza-wheel applicator is an intriguing one, but it falls short a little.
Pros:
–Very pretty color…a shimmery plum-burgundy.
–Heck, it’s Revlon, so the price is right, and you get coupons in the Sunday paper.
–Has all-day wear.
–Thin, thin line.
Cons:
–The pizza wheel doesn’t really do a tapered wing. You can draw the line out, but it just looks like a line that ended on your temple, like a road that is only partway built.
–I’m afraid to get the wheel too close to the lash line, lest it slip and go right into my eye and cause injury. The wheel is rather sharp. So it’s not suitable for tightlining, plus in my case I can’t do it without leaving a noticeable gap at the lash line.
–For the same reason, I’m terrified to even use it on my lowers.
–The wheel holds only so much product, so you find yourself dipping frequently into the tube for more product.
Overall, kind of gimmicky. I do like the color, though, so I might try dipping a narrow brush in it to use up the product. And I will not repurchase.

I was so excited to try this but I don’t believe it is for everybody! I am a makeup junkie and have many skills, but the wheel was frustrating to me. I’m going to keep trying, but it not for me. Great pigmentation though.

Exactify liquid eyeliner is every MAC rollerwheel eyeliner junkie’s answered prayers! It is an exact dupe of MAC rollerwheel liquid eyeliner. They have Intense Black, Sparkling Black, Mulberry & a teal shade (no brown?!). The end of the eyeliner has a pizza cutter little wheel just like MAC I mean you can’t help but to compare them. Both are waterproof. Both come in matte black & shiny black. But Revlon is just $12 at Ulta (& on Ulta dot com) and Ulta was having a BOGO50% + coupon from the circular ad made it approx ~$18 (w tax) to buy 2! And MAC 1 is $21 + tax for ONE container. I can’t wait until I can buy this at Kroger becoz going to an Ulta brick-and-mortar-store is a pain. But going to the Mall or ordering online is an even bigger pain I hate waiting for stuff to come in the mail. Going to the mall between thxgiving and a few days after Jan 1st is nearly impossible. Parking is relegated to the back 40 acre lot! And I don’t like dealing w crowds. I have anxiety. But I’ve alreasy used up one MAC rollerwheel (I’ve never used up a liquid liner before. I always lose them first. I can’t afford to lose a $21 item. Eep!) so I’ve gotten 3 (one lives on my vanity, 1 is in my handbag & one is a back up) now I have 2 more of these type of eyeliner. I’m not sure I’d be able to tell the difference between the 2 under a test where the label was covered up. Revlon’s is that good! Wetnwild needs to come out with this. Apparently MAC conveniently “forgot” to patent this because they are the same. The formula dries fast so work quickl! intense black is matte black opaque & not watery. The wheel glides smoothly & doesn’t skip or clump or twist. It’s not flimsy. There IS a learning curve to this but once you master it, it is hard doing traditional liners! Esp gel seems too imprecise & pencil is so much like a crayon. The rollerwheel is exact & precise. I will so rebuy. I am done buying MAC. I can’t afford it and afford to buy food so I’ll be rebuying Revlon. Happily! Because some DS MU is unappealing to me for the most part so it’s nice to have a DS HG! I was finally able to lemming this after wanting to lemming it for the longest time I kept checking every DS I went to trying to lemming it. #winning
