I don’t understand the hype behind this liner. Stila’s waterproof liquid eyeliner is uh-mazing with its felt tip pen. I guess I had been spoiled. Here’s the breakdown of the pros and cons for the NYX liquid liner.
Pros:
Jet black color
Very thin brush applicator
Cheap
Cons:
Takes FORVER to dry and ends up all over my face/eyes making me have to go back and fix my eyeshadow and liner. I’ve been using liquid liner for over 25 years so I think I know what I’m doing and this stuff sucks.
For this reason alone I will not repurchase and will stick to Stila.

This is one of the better eyeliners that I have tried. I really like the packaging and how slim the tip is but not too thin so that it’s easy to create a wing. I don’t like how it looks when it dries though. If you do too many layers of the eyeliner it makes it look nasty and doesnt give a fine eyeliner look even if you do have a perfect eyeliner. I need to try the NYX matte eyeliner because I prefer a matte finish but overall this is a pretty good eyeliner and ill probably buy it over the other brands ive tried.

Little background: I’ve had this for a few months now, I’ve used Stila’s Stay All Day, Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner, and I have EXTREMELY oily eyelids.
At first, I really enjoyed Stila until I bought another and it started smudging. I was a bit skeptical that this would work better than Stila since it’s a drugstore brand AND isn’t waterproof, but color me surprised. Liquid sounds a bit intimidating, but you get the hang of it quickly.
This has never let me down; no smudges ever except when it’s pouring/snowing heavily out. But it’s never a black mess like the movies; just a small darkish shadow on my under-eye.
