I`m always on the lookout for cosmetic products that are easy to use and last because my day starts really early, have only 30 minutes to get ready and I get home really late, usually after a gym workout. So I need my make up to last with minimal touch-ups. Talk about being demanding! But hey! A lot of these cosmetics cost a fortune, so forgive me for having expectations. Anyway, this shadow liner is just what I`m looking for: the color is lovely and pretty sheer on initial application, and lasts all day just as the label claims. I bring it in my makeup bag to intensify the look if I want a night out: you can build up intensity for a smokey eye. Now this won`t be in your face opaque brown, like you get with UD shadows, it`s more subtle than that, but for someone who just turned 40 I don`t want my eye look to be so full on. It is waterproof, so you need a good oil to remove it properly. I haven`t really tried to use it as an eyeliner, because I generally like to tight-line with a dark color, and I don`t think this would work well for that. Would definitely repurchase and want to try more colors. Too bad Too Faced isn`t available in Japan. Recently I saw fakes of Too Faced products (their heart blushes and chocolate bars, everything the same as Too Faced, except the quality and the Too Faced label) being sold in Japanese stores and I was really disgusted: I mean, for a country that prides itself on honesty, they really shouldn`t be selling these obvious Chinese knock-offs in brick and mortar stores.
