Lakme 9 to 5 Black Impact liner Price:210rs. Quantity:3.5 ml. I have been a lakme lover for ages and have been using the Absolute shine liner for more than 3 years.. N then about a month ago I switched to the new black impact liner which has been a complete disappointment .The reason primarily is the brush. It is so uneven that the application becomes very uncomfortable ! N with the winged eyeliner in vogue it’s very difficult even with small strokes to achieve a finished look . Though the liner is good but the tool provided doesn’t serve the purpose at all. It’s a thumbs down for me . I would not repurchase or suggest purchasing it to anyone despite of being reasonably priced. Some good points I would still mention about the product : 1)long lasting , even after a long day out it doesn’t go anywhere from my oily lids. 2)The packaging is very sleek and I like the gold bit. 3)It is very black n dries into an absolute matte finish.smudgeproof. TIP: To make this product work use a separate eyeliner brush .

An amazing eyeliner I always make sure to buy on my trips home! Rich dark color and easy application, never smudges or runs. I may like Lakme’s eyeliner even better than my Revlon Colorstay which is saying a lot…I wish Lakme would come to other countries, it’s missed by us NRI’s.

I totally LOVE the Lakme Black Impact liquid Eyeliner from India! It gives you a very well defined line which lasts 8 hours in an air conditioned office! I’ve been using this eyeliner for the last 3 years and I would only buy more of the same brand as its got a bunch of ingredients which are healthy for your eyes! Will repurchase till I find a better alternative! Oh, btw, this eyeliner for its amazing quality is dirt cheap in Indian rupees! 😉

This is a review of the Lakme Eye Artist eye liner pen in black. Not a gel, not a pencil and definitely not a brush-and-ink system, the Eye Artist is like a felt-tip sketch pen, except that the felt tip allows for really fine or really thick lines, depending on how much pressure you use.
The tip doesn’t feel hard on the eyelids and because it’s like drawing with a sketchpen or a marker, you don’t need to pull, tug or get your eye lids scratched.
I found the pen very very easy to use. I’m not an eyeliner person and own no eyeliners, but I drew a cay-eye quite easily on my first try (on the left eye, mind you. I tried to replicate it on the right and the wing tip was a bit askew – which means the product is fine but I need a little practice).
It’s very black – shiny when wet and drying to a matte. It also stays put on my slightly oily lids (I wore it over concealer and NYX eye shadow, which mattifies the lids somewhat) and washed off with water. I haven’t done this yet, but it looks like it will smudge with a little rubbing.
Despite it being on the pricier side of Lakme’s range (it costs close to Rs 400, which is really what eyeliners at The Body Shop cost), this is really one of Lakme’s better products. I’m not a fan of their foundations or powders or shadows, but they do make the best eyeliners in all of kohl- and kajal-loving India. The packaging is neat and sophisticated (the label says they’re manufactured in Germany by the company that makes Schwan Stabilo stationery and I know those guys make stellar pens). There’s only 1.2 ml of product in the pen, but how much are you going to need to draw two little lines over your eyelids everyday huh?
EDIT: Store these tip-side down or they’ll dry out.

this product is simply amazing! it has never smudged on my extremely oily lids (not if i rub it) in the hot and humid weather that i live in all year round. the price (sgd6) it is definitely unbeatable as well. the design of the brush is slightly iffy though – the felt tip after some time no longer stays pointed, and it picks up too much product sometimes BUT all this means i just have to get used to it. these days, i smear some onto the back of my hand and apply it with an eyeliner brush. easy peasy.
i’ve tried a few products apart from this, and i never know why i stray. i’ve tried mac’s pencil liner and it smudged. i’ve tried maybelline liquid liner and it smudges LIKE CRAZY. i picked up a silky girl (wet n wild) liquid eyeliner when i was in europe – worked well there but smudged like crazy the moment i get back. i even bought fluidline blacktrack a week ago and it smudged. 🙁
one awkward fact about this product – i can’t seem to remove it properly with cleansing oils and normal eye makeup remover BUT IT COMES OFF NICELY WITH JUST WATER AND A FEW RUBS. pretty amazing stuff.
love love love this product! 🙂

this is an eyeliner from India, amazing!, long lasting, cheap and very black, contains castor oil and other natural ingredients, no lead in here…simply great!, just the packing is not my favorite, but who cares if its a great product inside=)
