I have the 02 Brown and my friend recommended this to me, as it does not dissolve in oily skin and it is waterproof. (My previous liner dissolved and my wingtip broke apart). It can stay on the whole day until I get home at night, so far. The brush bristles are soft and smooth, but they do not adversely affect application — conversely, the shape of it allows me to draw the feline wingtips well, and the paste goes onto the skin easily. The shape of the brush also allows quicker application. The liner does not clump nor break apart, and I’ve tried using it as a stand-in mascara (just darkening the lashes only a bit).
I will repurchase, but only because I don’t know what other kinds to try.

very cheap and affordable
for its price, it does an okay job
but it doesn’t long last on my eyelid tho

Smudge my below eyeliner even I didn’t apply it. Not work for oily eyelid

This is a HG eyeliner for me. I have hooded eyelids so I almost always get eyeliner stamps at the upper fold of my eyelid no matter how long I let the eyeliner dry down. But this doesn’t smudge, and has a nice brush to apply the product, which is creamy and goes on easily. It even goes on the waterline! The only thing is that I find the product design unwieldy, but other than that I really enjoy this product.

I like the concept of this eyeliner. The eyeliner brush is always there for you! However, I felt like this eyeliner wasn’t really good at staying put on monolid eyes, even with primer. Maybe it’s b/c I got a “light” color (pearl brown) that appeared lighter in person and was harder to see, but who knows. All I know is that the staying power of this eyeliner was a bit disappointing. The line practically disappeared half-way through the day.
Also, the reviewer below me got it right when she stated that the brush hardened quickly into a pointy, hard stick (ouch indeed!).

Maybe I bought a dud but…
Cheap product – you’re basically paying more for the nifty glass container and brush, (and which eventually slips out of said nifty container top and refuses to stay locked in). Speaking of the brush, it hardened up with the gel within a week of use, relegating it to near useless no matter how much I tried to wash and baby it. So weird. I’m not keen on applying gel eyeliner with a pointy, hard stick (ouch!). Even worse, though, is that the gel also hardened up to a solid brick like enamel in a very short amount time. Seeing that I’ve had and used many different brands of gel eyeliners over the years (they’re my favorite method for eyeliner!), I know this is inevitable eventually, but they shouldn’t go staler bread within only a month or two (I have some gels that last for at least a good 3+ years).
At least the color is great. Also,I could never get it to apply quite smooth or evenly enough – the gel is just not pliable at all! – but even after spending considerable time finagling with it, as soon as I went outside or anywhere where the humidity or heat/cold changed considerably , it would sort of clump and look crusty in spots. Albeit the paradox being that it is insanely impossible to get off the eyelid once you want it to budge. Very weird experience with this gel eyeliner. Fail, except for the color. You can find better elsewhere.

BEST EYELINER EVER! It’s waterproof and it’s easy to apply and I just love it 🙂

This is the only gel liner I’ve ever tried, and I really, really love it.
I was looking for the best gel liner in a lower price range and came across this as a recommendation from many people. This was said to be one of the best gel liners out there, comparable to much more expensive alternatives and better than every western drugstore gel liner.
The Pros:
– Mine is in the shade Black, which is very matte and very black.
– It’s creamy but hard enough, which means it doesn’t drag on the lids but it’s also not runny and messy.
– Both comments above mine said that it takes too long for it to set. That’s not the case with me. It dries pretty fast, but it also gives you a few seconds to play around and fix some mistakes.
– On my lids, this lasts AN ETERNITY. Bare in mind, I have very very oily eyelids which eat every bit of makeup I apply. If I use a primer underneath (which I generally do) this will last me literally the whole day. I have slept with this on and it stayed pretty well. I don’t know if there are more longlasting eyeliners out there, but I couldn’t ask for more than this.
– I’ve had this same packaging for around 3 years now and it hasn’t dried. This is mindblowing to me. I know that gel liners in general are known for drying out in a couple of months, but so far this has lasted very very well. I read that the anatomy of the packaging was designed to keep the product moistened for longer; if that’s true, then it certainly works.
– It doesn’t crumble, doesn’t flake, doesn’t disappear and doesn’t smudge, even if you rub your eyes a little. I have gotten water in my eyes and it stayed put (just make sure not to rub your eyes in this case).
– It doesn’t smell like anything.
The Cons:
– Although the packaging seems to be preserving the product well, the shape is very awkward and annoying to store.
– The brush that comes inside is not so good… The quality of the bristles is fine, but the brush so thick. It’s impossible to make a thin wing or precision work. Also, if you make a mistake, it’s gonna be tough to fix, because you’ll end up with a liner so thick it’ll reach the eye socket. I recommend using a separate brush.
Overall, I think the pros largely exceed the cons. I LOVE this product and highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a gel liner to try.

It’s not bad, but there’s nothing really special about this gel liner. It does its job but it dries out quite quick, and it will smudge. I have used this for 1 year already and I’m not a big fan of it.

I ordered this product after hearing about it from loads of people and I’ve got to say I’m pleasantly surprised by it. The price is very reasonable; I bought the gel liner in two shades; #1 Black and #12 Pearl Black both for around $7 each (bless eBay auctions).
It was actually my first time trying out a gel eyeliner and I almost threw it away because I wasn’t able to work with it; it took a long time to dry and smudged on the top of my eyes. But after a few days I gave it another go, used less product and tried to shape the brush a little and now I absolutely love it. It’s easy to work with and stays on all day. Of course after 8-12 hours it’s not as vibrant as when you first applied it and it smudges a little underneath the eye but that’s to be expected. Dispute that it’s long-lasting it’s easy to remove with a cleaning oil or just regular cleansing/make-up remover tissues.
I do prefer to use a pen eyeliner over the gel eyeliner because this takes longer to dry; so if I’m in a rush I would rather use quick-drying (liquid) eyeliner.
