I have this one in black. I got this because I was looking for a pencil eyeliner that came with a smudge tip, for which there is limited selection. This not only had a smudge applicator tip with its own cute clear lid, but it also came with a sharpener! Marcelle definitely did a good job on the product packaging and design.
The liner applies good, however it is not the darkest of black eyeliners I’ve used, although it’s still pretty dramatic when applied. Smudges perfectly. However, after about 2 hours from application, the eyeliner on my bottom eyelids started to smear down. This could be because I have oily skin, or because it’s humid/hot, but this seems to be a common problem with a lot of pencil eyeliners. That is the only main problem with this eyeliner.
Added bonus is that it’s hypoallergenic for us sensitive-eyed women, especially those of us that wear eye contacts, so this eyeliner does not bother my eyes at all.
If you’re looking for a soft, easy-to-smudge black pencil eyeliner, I definitely recommend this (especially for those that cannot wear kajal/khol eyeliners due to allergies).

All colors are nice and work amazing for smokey eye or regular use. Not waterproof.

I have oily skin and eyelides so I’m always on the search for a good waterproof eyeliner. I’ve tried MUFE waterproof eyeliner , l’oreal infallible, covergirl liquidlast, maybelline unstoppable, mac powerpoint just to name a few..Marcelle’s e/l is my top pick for lasting power, little smudging and fading and remaining on the waterline!
Marcelle 2 in one retractable eyeliner is by far my fave and the best! I have the black one and it lasted a decent long time on my waterline, in fact, this is the only one that lasted on my waterline with a tiny bit of fading but I’m still impressed. I just wished there were more colours. There are only 4 shades and I’ve tried copper which is also a great bronzey shade for summer.
IMO, Marcelle e/l is on the top my list, followed by a close tie between L’oreal infallible and Maybelline unstoppable.
