This is a nice deep sapphire blue on my tan skin. I use it on my lid when I go out at night for a nice pop of color. I love the jewel tone of this eyeshadow. Only reason it’s not five stars is because it starts to fade after a couple hours (better when used with primer).

I wanted to try a darkish, brightish blue liner with my dark brown eyes. This was what I was looking for! I use it wet with a liner brush and a creamy colored shadow for a daytime look that’s a little different and super-cute. The blue does make the whites of my eyes look whiter, which makes me look more awake when I haven’t had a good night’s sleep.
This was a great price point for trying out a new look. I prob won’t repurchase, because now I’m ready to invest in a pricier product – probably a navy gel liner – but I can use this shadow to smudge any harsh lines.

This was an impulse purchase. In that it wasn’t premeditated. But after I had the impulse, I stewed over it for about an hour and a half, pacing through Eckerd. Because I’m the girl who doesn’t think twice about a $60 spree. But paces for an hour and a half over a $3.89 drugstore eyeshadow the day after.
It’s a dark grey-eggplant matte shadow. I love that it’s embossed with “rich.” It makes my eyes look like bright green cat’s eye marbles. In fact even now that I’m not wearing it, I swear my eyes look greener to me.
I can’t speak to quality. It smokes out nicely. The only thing I really know about eyeshadows is they go on your eyes. But I do think it’s better used as an eyeliner than an allover lid color. On your skin it is not like “smokey lilac or “bruised violet” – it is dark PURPLE. So just as a liner if you don’t want to look like when he hit you it felt like a kiss. Or you took of your hoops, but you didn’t remember to grease up your grill with vaseline, if you were in a girlfight.

I recently bought this because i wanted to find a nice dark navy shadow to use wet as a liner. This color appeared navy to me when i looked at it on line, and in the stores, but now that i’ve tried it, i think it goes on as more of a dark dark purple. It’s odd..i don’t know if this would show up differently on someone else, though. Anyway, i still find that this shadow is good for lining though, and i do like the quality; i find that the pigment is good as well : ) . Even though it doesn;t really look like navy to me, i still like the effect of it, so i may buy it again. **Update** -on second thought i don’t think i’ll be re-purchasing, or using very often..but the quality is still ok.
